Sorry for the delay here is part 10
"Bani, have you any idea what you were doing? Why were you dancing with him?" yelled Nishikant.
"Dad…" Bani started to say when Nishikant interrupted her. "Did you hear what everyone was talking about? Of course not if you had you wouldn't be caught 10 feet near him would you?"
"Oh no. I wish Rahul and Pia were still here" Bani thought remembering that it had only been a few hours since they had boarded their plane to Cancun, Mexico on their long awaited honeymoon.
"Bani, Bani only if you could hear what they were saying about him" he continued
"But…" Bani cried but her father would not stop to hear. So she kept quiet and listened to what he had to say.
"They say that Jai is already on his next relationship. A liaison they claim was a very thought-out plan." Nishikant explained
She drew a blank so Nishikant began to explain, "By liaison I mean with you. He, I bet you has no feelings for you just opposite with you being the sister of his new archrival. So Bani keep away from him I am warning you"
"Oh look at the time," he then said as he looked at the cuckoo clock that said it was 3 am by its annoying singing. He then put his hand on Bani's head and said "Beta, I think you should go to bed."
As she walked to her room she wondered about what her father had said to her. How would she be able to keep away from Jai if she was to work in such close proximity with him?
Thump
"Oh no" she said when she realized that she had walked into her bedroom door without opening it.
"Where is your head these days?" she said to herself as she opened the door and let herself in. As soon as the door shut behind her she clasped on the bed and she fell asleep nursing a small bump which started to appear on her forehead.

It was the peek hours of the morning when Jai walked into his family's home. He didn't realize how he spent the last few hours. After he left the reception he drove to his downtown office trying to forget the memories of the night but every email he opened, every file he looked through got him thinking, thinking about how different it would have been.
Finally he got up and left the office since he could not take anymore of it. Why was he thinking about how it would have been? There was no way he could reverse what had happened. He got into his car and drove away.
All of a sudden as if he was unable to control the car it stopped and he got out. Upon putting his feet firmly on the ground did he realize where he was? Unable to understand his conscious he got back into his car and tried to drive away but for some reason he just kept on staring out in the distance to what he wanted to see.
"I am so glad you are home big bro," yelled Rano, cutting into his thought bring him back to reality. Unable to hide what he was feeling he got the strength to say "Re, you little critter what are you doing up so late?"
"I know I am up late but where have you been? Ranveer told me that you left the reception ages ago," she said
"Rano I am not a kid that I have to answer to you. In case you forgot I am your big brother" he retaliated. Rano had not only caught him off guard but at a time he wished he were better left alone. He knew that a cure for his feeling like this was a good dose of chitchat with Rano, but he just wasn't up to it and he knew that Rano had just that in mind.
Leaving her post at the foot of the stairs she walked towards him and pulled him into the family room where on the coffee table there was a small meal consisting of his favorite dish. Seeing the shimmer in Jai's eyes Rano responded, "I knew that you would need this" as she pointed to the food.
Unable to wait for Rano to say anything else he parked himself on the couch in front of the coffee table and began to fill his mouth with food. "I see you're going to need some more," she said as she started to laugh and then she disappeared into the kitchen, but Jai could still hear her laughter.
Jai finished off his meal and was about to retire to his room for the night or what ever was left of the night when Rano stopped him and said "Now you have to tell me what you are up to"
"Re, I did not know that you could be so manipulative. You didn't feed me because I was hungry but so that I would appreciate your generosity and tell you what ever you want to know" he stopped talking to look straight into Rano's eyes and then said "Well guess again sister."
"Jai, I know it's none of my business when it comes to what you do but don't go on with that plan of yours" she cried as she followed Jai up the stairs. He turned round to face Rano and said, "You said it. It's none of your business" he then ran up the stairs into the hall and was about to walk into his room when he shouted, "what plan?" with a confused look on his face accompanied by a smirk
