Abhilasha... as usual a great update.. albeit a bit short but even in this short update u manage to get the story more and more interesting.. thanks Bani cried when Aparajit told her to look after jai since he is also a person... Is it coz Bani realised that somewhere she is also at fault? Banis behavior is confusing... i know.. i am trying to make her character clear...she is still a lil stiff when Jai hugs her but she tries to smile at him and she thinks by making him go to work she is helping him.. (atleast that was my reading of it). 😆 and u r right Jai seems to be trying really hard.. I hope Bani shows him a ray of light as well

Abhi...the first part really sad...because family being so insensitive...obviously Bani is having mental trauma... they will guess a little... but do u think they will accept her after they guessed??? that is why she is behaving so irrationally. Jai is trying his best and Jigyasa really should listen to what Adi says...Jai would never be happy without Bani.
The second part...I am sure Aparajit meant well, but sayings those things to her really has the negative effect on her...Bani needs someone with her...and it needs to be Jai...only he can undo the damage that he really did. not completely his.. of course

Jai was sounding so cute and deep in love when he said he has to be with her. but he is late in expressing his feelings
You know sometimes I see myself in Bani.. I too get really irritated for no reason behave so irrationally and impulsive thank God I have people who loves me enough to tolerate my all rash behaviour.. exactly the difference...

I know its absolutely normal on the part of Bani but her behavior is disturbing a little bit. Bechaara Aprajit feels like he is banging his head on the wall while he is with Bani i like this phrase... banging his head on the wall... 😆 😆 and why do I get this feeling that Bani has tuned herself off again do u think so? 😉

Part 17C
After 45 minutes, Jai stood at the door to the balcony ready to leave to office.
She was still sitting leaning against the wall and staring into the sky.
"Bani" Jai called her. Bani turned to look at him.
"Chalo breakfast ke liye neeche chalthe hai." He said.
Before Bani could protest or reason with him, he said, "Chalo Bani. Tumne kaha hai ki tum waqt pe khana khaogi…!"
Bani looked at him. Jai offered his hand. Bani looked at it for sometime, then got gave her hand to him. She got up and they both went down for breakfast.

Aditya was seated in the breakfast table ready to leave for office. Jai greeted him.
"Good Morning Aditya." Jai said.
Aditya raised his head from the plate and looked at the direction of the voice. He saw Jai entering the dining room with Bani. His face displayed surprise for a few seconds, but was replaced by a genuine smile. Bani gave a hesitant smile.
"Good Morning Jai." He said, then little softly he said, "Good Morning, Bani."
Bani mumbled a small 'Good Morning' and sat at the chair offered by Jai.
Jai took his seat and asked Aditya, "Tum akele kyun breakfast kar rahe ho?"
Aditya replied as he ate, "Kya karoon bhai? Meri biwi mujhse naraaz hai. Masi aur dadi ka toh pata hi nahin. Baad mein Tony ne bataya ki mandir gaye hai. Tum donon ka toh bharosa nahin. Aur meri bhook toh kisi ke liye wait nahin kar sakta. Isliye main toh kha raha hoon." He said casually shrugging his shoulders.
Jai shook his head smiling and turned his attention to Bani. "Toh Bani? Breakfast ke liye kya logi?"
"Kuch bhi…" She said shaking her head.
Jai looked at her for few seconds, then asked, "Bani, maine tumse poocha ki tum kya logi? Kuch bhi jawaab yahaan nahin chalega."
"Haan Bani. Jo bhi khana hai khao lo. Koi problem nahin. Tumhare favorite toh noodles hai na?" Aditya asked.
Bani nodded her head. Then said, "Aaj main paratte khaongi."
"Teek hai." Jai said. "Tony!" He gave a call.
Tony came in few seconds.
"Bani ke liye paratte aur mere liye poha le aana." Jai said.
Tony nodded and turned to Bani. "Ma'am aap aaloo paratte lenge ya gobi ka paratta ya plain paratta lengi?" He asked.
Bani said, "Mujhe ek gobi ka paratta aur ek plain paratta chahiye."
"Yes Ma'am" Tony said and left for kitchen.
Bani looked around and grabbed a glass of water for herself.
"Toh Bani… Ab kaisi ho?" Aditya asked.
"Ji… teek hoon." Bani said.
Tony came with the food after few minutes. Jai and Bani started to have their food. Aditya finished his breakfast. "Mera breakfast ho gaya." He announced. "Teek hai Jai. Main nikhalta hoon. Bye Bani. Apna khayal rakhna." He got up from the seat.
"Kahaan ja rahe ho, Aditya?" Jai asked.
"Office, aur kahaan?" Aditya said.
"Thodi der wait karo. Main bhi aata hoon." Jai said.
"Tum office aa rahe ho?" He frowned and asked.
"Haan.." Jai looked at him. "Aise kyun pooch rahe ho?"
"Maine socha ki tum donon baahar ghoomne ke liye ja rahe ho…" Aditya said looking at both of them.
Jai looked at Bani, then at Aditya and sighed. "Aisi kismet mera kahaan, bhai." He sighed again and waited for Bani to look at him. When Bani looked at him, he said, "Meri biwi hi toh mujhe office bhej rahi hai." He looked through the corner of his eyes at Bani and said. He noticed Bani frowning at him.
Aditya looked at both of them and said, "Kya? Kyun Bani…?"
Bani looked at Aditya and said, "Woh… kaam bahut hoga na? Isliye…"
Aditya said, "C'mon Bani… Kaam toh har waqt hota rehta hai."
Bani said, "Meri wajah se do din office nahin gaye na? Isliye…"
Jai looked at her intently. Aditya noticed some tension. He said, "Bani… Jai agar ek din office nahin jayega toh aasman toot nahin padega. Teek hai, Jai nahin gaya. Main toh gaya na?"
Jai intervened, "Aditya tum wait karo. Main aata hoon."
Bani looked at Jai, then Aditya and went back to her food.
Aditya said, "Teek hai. Jaisa tum kaho." He left the room.
Bani slowly nibbled her paratta. Jai had his breakfast looking at Bani occasionally. After he finished his breakfast, Tony brought his juice. As Jai started to have his juice, he noticed a change in expression in Bani's face. Suddenly, she got up and ran towards the rest room. Jai followed her to find out the matter. There, she was throwing up. Jai came to her and held her head. Bani hit his hand off. The little food she had, she threw up. She washed her mouth and face and stood there holding the basin. Suddenly she felt someone wiping her face and mouth. She looked and found Jai doing it.
"Tum teek ho?" Jai asked as he wiped her face.
Bani nodded. She was taking deep breath to control her. Jai hugged her softly. She placed her palm on his chest to support her. Gradually, her breathing returned back to normal. He patted over her head and calmed her.
After few minutes, Jai spoke, "Chalo Bani. Kamre mein chalte hai." Bani nodded. Jai gathered her and walked towards the stairs the climbed it.
He made her lie comfortably on the bed and sat beside her. He stroked her hair. Then he took a glass of water and offered her, "Thoda paani pe lo." Bani got it from his hand, but Jai still held the glass and she start to sip. After having two sips, she stopped sipping. Jai kept the glass back on the night stand. He stroked her hair fondly. He wanted to stay with her and attend her needs. But he wanted to know what she was thinking.
As if reading his thoughts, she said, "Aap chaliye. Main thodi der baad thoda khana khake dawa le loongi."
Jai did not say anything, just kept looking at her.
"Main teek hoon. Main so jaoongi toh teek ho jaoongi. Aap yahaan pe baite bore ho jayenge." She gave a slight laugh.
Jai took a deep breath, then said, "Tumhari marzi." He bent down and kissed her forehead. He looked at her and said, "Kuch bhi chahiye, toh batana. Hichakna mat. Teek hai."
Bani gave a somewhat lop-sided smile. Jai smiled and left the room.
Few minutes, after Jai left, Bani fell asleep.

He met Masi and Dadi downstairs. He asked them to take care of Bani and keep an eye on her. He asked them not to stress her. Masi and Dadi teased him. Aditya and Jai left for office, but Jai could not help himself, but to get worried.
Dadi and Masi could not help teasing Jai even after he left. They went to kitchen and started ordering the servants to make recipes that Bani might like

Bani slept the whole morning. She woke up after one in the afternoon. She stretched her hands and arms and got up. She remembered she hadn't had any food. So she decided to grab herself some food.
She went downstairs. She found living room empty. She walked towards the kitchen and asked the servants for some food. They prepared hot 'rotis' for her and served them along with 'imli' aur 'nimbu' ka pickle. Bani liked the taste and finished off the rotis served without any difficulty. She thanked them and went to her room to have medicines. Lack of food and hormone tired her a lot that she fell asleep the whole afternoon.
Masi and Dadi got the information about Bani's lunch from the servants. They felt happy that Bani liked something to eat. They planned to make lot more dishes for Bani to be comfortable and to enjoy. They hoped in a matter of few days, Bani would come around as she used to.

In the evening, when Jai came, he met Masi and Dadi about the happenings and climbed the stairs. He came to his room to find Bani sleeping peacefully. He smiled and went and sat near her. The whole day sleep had made her face a little swollen. He affectionately stroked her cheeks. He found a smile appearing on Bani's face. He leaned on the board and stroked her hair with one of his hands. Bani relaxed and started to bury herself in the stroking.
Jai wondered when he would break the pregnancy news to Bani. When would that day come? He sighed and closed his eyes. After sometime, he got up to change to casuals. Bani stirred. He calmed her and went to pick up his causals. After changing, he came and sat near Bani itself stretching his legs on the bed with one hand stroking Bani's hair. He found Bani constantly scratching her bosom. Jai took off her hand and rubbed her bosom gently. Only after he did, he realized what he was doing. He stopped breathing for few seconds. His hand tingled, but he felt uncomfortable. After a long struggle in his mind, he joined Bani under the covers and joined her to sleep, with his hand caressing her body.

This schedule continued for the next three days.
On the fourth day, Bani felt extremely bored of just eating and sleeping. So she called Pushkar and asked for some assignment. He asked her to wait till next week. Bani did not know what to do.
Her mind recalled the past few days, then weeks, then month… Then it suddenly stopped. Her eyes widened. How could she forget it? She picked her purse and left the house, as usual, without saying anyone.

Masi and Dadi came to know in the afternoon that Bani was not in the house. They grew nervous. They immediately informed Jai. Jai was shocked beyond wits. He immediately came back to home. None of the members in the house knew where Bani went. Jai, this time, did not know where to search for her. Jigyasa blamed Bani for being so careless and childish. Masi tried to calm her, but she went furious.
In the evening around five-thirty, Bani happily entered the house. She was surprised that all the members were present in the living room. She looked a Jai and gave a genuine smile, which reached her eyes. All the worries of the past few hours vanished away seeing her smile. Jai wanted to know the reason for her happiness.
Before he could ask anything, Jigyasa started. "Kahaan thi, tum?"
"Main toh…" Before Bani sould speak, Jigyasa continued.
"Kehkar nahin ja sakti kya? Samaj kya rakha hai humein? Ki humko tumhein dhoondne se siva koi aur kaam nahin hai kya?" Jigyasa shouted at her.
Bani's face fell. All the happiness drained. Jai came forward. He held her shoulders and asked, "Kahaan thi Bani?"
Bani looked at him with a tearful face.
"Bani… bahut khush dikh rahi thi… Kya baat hai?" He asked again. Bani started to sob. Jai said, "SShhh… Don't cry." He wiped her tears and asked again. "Kya baat hai Bani? Mujhe nahin bataogi?"
Bani wiped her tears and said, "Main… main…" she was so excited.
"Kya baat hai Bani…?" Jai asked her again.
"Pata hai? Mera… mera bachcha aanewala hai…." She said happily in between her tears and touched her belly.
But Bani's words affected him so much than the news…. Mera bachcha…. He looked at Bani's bent head and then her palm resting on her belly.
