Chapter 28:

Following morning Bani woke up and saw Jai sleeping very close to her the quilt is not covering none of them… so she got up and covered him properly with the quilt and looked at him for a while before she went in the bathroom…

Jai was still sleeping so she didn't disturb him and went downstairs to do pooja… after finishing the pooja Bani asked God to give her strength to handle this situation… she hoped Daksh would understand her and would also forgive her… she didn't intent to hurt his feeling but she has given him the biggest sorrow of his life… she also prayed for Jai well being and hoped that God would make him better so that she could tell him the truth… she hoped Jai would also forgive her for lying to him… her thought came to stand still as she felt someone's hand on her shoulder… she turned around and saw Jai standing next to her…

Bani: aare Jai aap ueth gayen… she gave him Prasad and did his aarti…

Jai: Thank you…

Bani: you go and sit at the table I'll get you breakfast and medicines…

After the breakfast Jai went to his study with Aditya to discuss some business problem but Bani informed Jai not to get too engrossed in the work and also not to take so much stress over the work…

Bani went to her room and waited for Pushkar's call… she was getting anxious thinking about Daksh… just then Bani's phone rang and it was Pushkar…

Pushkar: hi Bani… kaisi ho… Mr. Walia ke saath sab kuch theek tu hain na? ...

Bani: haan Pushkar everything is just fine… you tell me did you find out anything about Daksh…

Pushkar: haan Bani… I have spoken to Tarun and from him I have found out that Daksh has been staying at the hotel Rose… and I think he'll be leaving India very soon… it would be better if u could meet him today and clear out all his misunderstanding… Bani he might be holding you responsible for everything and thinking you have betrayed him intentionally… so u have to clear this… and I'll come with you…

Bani: magar Pushkar… Jai is at home and every family member is also here so how can I come…

Pushkar: Bani tell everyone that you are going to your parent's house so they won't stop you…

Bani: ok Pushkar I'll meet you at the hotel …see you …bye…

At the hotel:

Pushkar: Bani Daksh's room no. 203 2^nd floor… we have to go there…

Bani: Pushkar please you wait here I want to talk him alone…

Pushkar: ok I'll be here… just give me a call if you need anything…ok

Bani knocked on the door…

Daksh was checking out of the hotel and leaving for London and he thought it was room service so he called out…

Daksh: come in the door is open…… Bani went inside and shut the door…and Daksh looked up and saw Bani…

Daksh: oh Mrs. Walia… how come you are here… …Tell me Mrs. Walia how can I help you …

Bani: Daksh please listen to me…

Daksh: oh I see you do remember my name… why Bani? Why? Mere pyar mein aisi kaun si kami reh gayein thi Bani… that you took such a huge step without my knowledge… and he held her upper arm very tightly… haan Bani tell me… manta hoon Jai Walia ke paas mujhse zyada paisa hai… lekin uske paise ke samne tumne hamare pyar ko baech diya… how could you Bani…… how could you…

Daksh was still holding her arm tightly ……Bani was really hurt but more than physically Bani felt more hurt emotionally at his remark… how could he think so cheap of her… tears were flowing from her eyes…

Daksh: why Bani… why are you crying… you should be happy… you got what you wanted …a rich man…

At this comment Bani couldn't stop herself and gave Daksh a big slap… and Daksh's hand went to his cheek…

Bani: how could you Daksh… how could you think so cheap of me… you have no idea what I went through… you are only seeing your side… your pain what about me Daksh? …I came here to understand you and tell you the whole truth… but now listening to your remark I feel disgusting at the thought that I loved you… I am glad we never got married and I am proud to call myself Jai Walia's wife Mrs. Bani Walia…… I may not love Jai …but I respect Jai a lot and now you may think whatever you want to about me… I really don't care Daksh… I thought you would understand me but I guess I was wrong… I was very wrong… saying so she left crying from his room and went downstairs……………

Pushkar: Aare Bani kya hua… tumne Daksh se baat karli?

Bani: please Pushkar let's go from here I don't want to talk about it right now… please take me to mom's house…

On the way to home Bani told Pushkar everything that took place between them… listening to it Pushkar felt like killing Daksh… after dropping her home he went to the hotel…

Pushkar went to Daksh's room and said…

Pushkar: Thank you Daksh so much …you don't realize what you have done… I really appreciate it a lot… if I say that I understand your pain then that would be wrong… coz I can't even imagine what u are going through… but what you have done was something not everyone could do… only those who love truly can do… and I guess you loved Bani truly but the fate didn't support you… I'm sorry Daksh…

Daksh was wiping his tears are said: Pushkar don't say sorry yaar… I should say thanks to you… thank you for letting me know everything that Bani went through… I know my Bani could never deceive me… but it is the fate that has played a dirty trick on me…

Pushkar: par Daksh tumne Bani ke saath aisa kyun kiya… uese itna kyun rulaya… maine tu sochata tum uese acchi tarah se baat karo ge lekin… uese itna dukh kyun diya…

Daksh: Pushkar… tum nehin samjhoge… he said holding Pushkar's shoulder…

Pushkar: nahin mujhe janan hai aur tumein mujhe batanahi hoga… tumne aisa kyun kiya…

Daksh: Pushkar maine jaan bujhkar Bani se woh saab karbhi baatein ki thi… kyun ke mein chahta tha who mujhse nafrat karein…

Pushkar: magar kyun Daksh… tum dono acchi dost ban kar tu rehsakre the…

Daksh: haan acchi dost ban kar jaroor reh sakta tha… par Pushkar… Bani ka mujhse nafrat karna zaroori tha… agar who mujhse nafrat nahin karegi tu Mr. Jai Walia se pyar kaise karegi… Pushkar batao mujhe… mujhe apne dil mein rak kar kya woh Jai Walia se pyar kar sakti thi… haan mein janta hoon who Mr. Walia se pyar nahin karti… magar ab woh mujhse nafrat karti hai… aur yeahi nafrat ueseh Mr. Walia ke kareeb le aai gi… Pushkar mein shaadi ko bohot importance deta hoon… aur mein tu Bani ko pyar karta hoon… tu phir mein uski shaadi shuda zindegi ke beech kaise aan sakta tha… mein itna selfish nahin hoon Pushkar…mein hamesha chahoonga meri Bani bohot kush rahein… mein Bani se hamesha pyar karta rahoonga… magar Mrs. Bani Walia ke bare mein kabhi sochoonga tak bhi nahin… kyun ki who kisi aur ki amanat hai… mujhe us par koi haq nahin… koi haq nahin…… saying so he hugged Pushkar and break down crying…

As Daksh's flight was in couple of hours time…so Pushkar escort him to the airport and bid him goodbye… Pushkar also told him to have faith may be Bani wasn't for him and he will surely find his soul mate one day…

After having dinner Bani left her parents place and went to Walia Mansion…

Late at night in Jai Bani's room…

Jai: Bani how's everyone at home… and how's Rano… you must have had a lot of fun hanging with her…hmm…

Bani: haan Jai we had a lot of fun… Jai I'm a little tired… want to sleep now can we talk tomorrow…

Jai: sure sweetheart… saying so he went forward and hugged her while holding her arm…

Bani: ouch… she felt hurt as Jai touched her arm where Daksh had held tightly …

Jai: Bani kya baat hai… kya hua hai tumhare haath ko? ………saying so he lift her dupatta that was covering her arm and saw red mark around her arm and got shocked……

Jai…Bani yeh… how did this happen… Bani did anyone misbehave with you… he asked as anger can be clearly seen in his eyes…

Bani: aare Jai you are making a big issue out of it… its nothing… woh Rano was chasing me and I just banged on the door and got this bruise on my hand…… that's all…

Jai was a bit relaxed hearing her answer…

Jai: Bani you should be careful nah… come and sit here and I'll do something about your bruise… Jai made Bani sat on the bed and got some balm to apply on her bruise…

Jai kissed on her bruise and Bani felt a tear coming down her eyes thinking how the man she loved gave her bruises and this man whom she respects a lot but she doesn't love him… but she promised herself that she will give him all the love she has … seeing his concern Bani's heart melt and she hugged him tightly…

Jai: Aare wah itna pyar aa raha hai aaj mujh par…hmmm… chalo pehle mujhe yeh balm lagane do uske baad you can hold on to me for as long as you want…

Saying so he applied balm on her arm carefully massaging it and making her feel better… afterwards as he promised… he held her very close to him and both fell asleep………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
