Y'know Tin, marital rape and domestic violence has been present for all women acoss all ages. Was reading a book about Leonardo Da Vinci's times and the plight of women then, young teenagers maried off to old men for political alliances and forced to show proof of their virginity. Women have always borne the brunt of cruelty from time immemorial. Good to see you write about it.

Tiny, I esp liked the part where Bani thinks sabki laadli is now counting bruises. Laad-pyaar sab ek jagah, different ball game altogether after marriage, unless the husband is good and strong. And as for Meera, only one word, yuck...
