Beta mai bhi Billo ke saath hu, Jai heard Dadi saying as he pulled the door shut…well masi and dadi always think alike but in this case Jai was a bit surprised as Raveer happened to be Dadi's favourite grandchild…

The dixits were expecting the walias for lunch. It was much quieter affair, the men welcomed them, the women served them personally, Jai was hating the attention being showered, he was feeling uneasy with so many men and women attending to their needs, finally Rano entered, once again traditionally dressed as a Rajasthani to be bride alongwith her cousin Bani, jade and kundan jewelry with matching full sleeve salwar kameez, as Rano took a seat next to Ranveer and Bani stood behind her, Raghubir cleared his voice, then addressed masi…
Agar aap anumati deh toh keya humlog shaadi ke din tay kar sakte hai….
Before Masi could reply, Aditya said,
Raghubirji, humlog shaadi ke liye raazi hai, there is no reason for us to delay the matter any further lekin ghar ki bare ke kuch ichhaye hai….
Keya ichha, waise aap se barabari karne ka hasiyaat toh hamari nehi hai, lekin koi maang ho toh…The dixit men were looking tensed
Areh nehi nehi, hume koi dahej nehi chahiye, masi aur meri ma ka ekhi ichha hai ki Jai ki shaadi Ranveer ki shaadi ki pehle ho….
Yeh toh bahut achhi baath hai, Raghubir gave a sigh of relief…uchit baath bhi hai, toh Walia sahab ki shaadi aaplog kab deh rahe hai…
Jab woh raazi ho jaye, ladki dekhenge, chat mangni, phat beha…
Bani exchanged a look with her mother and aunt….
Raghubir did not know what to say, when Nishikant saw his elder brother speechless, he moved forward, Aditya sahab, hume ghalat maath samjhiye, aapne jo kana bilkul uchit kaha, akhir rishte mai Jai Sahab Ranveer se bare hai, lekin hum bhi ladki wale hai, Mt Abu chhota jagah hai, log tarah tarah ki bate karenge, 6 mahina, 8 mahina tak toh theek hai, lekin…uske ageh, mera matlab aap samajte hai nah…
Bani looked at Jai through the corner of her eyes to note his reaction, he was frowning hard and no doubt he was not enjoying the topic one bit….
Bani remembered the girls talking, there was a scandal regarding his family, keya scandal, kaise scandal, dekh ke toh lagta hai sab kuch normal hai, waise dekh ke to yeh bhi laga tha ki Daksh ki family me bhi sab kuch normal dikhta tha, lekin kuch aurhi nikla…

When the family took leave, Bani noticed Ranveer holding Rano's hand and whispering something in her ear, while Rano tried to control her tears, Ranveer gave a reassuring pat at her back, Bani turned way to come face to face with Jai Walia, no doubt he had seen what she had, inspite of not wanting Bani could not stop herself being angry with him…

Jai Walia got into the front seat of the car which will take them to the airport in Ahmedabad from where they will catch their flight back home….
While Jigyasa grumbled about making Jai the pawn to delay the marriage of her son, she was happy as she was not in a hurry to make the dixits her relatives….Aditya as usual got busy in teasing his wife….Jai remembered the pair of angry eyes of the girl called Bani, who all these while looked nervous and a bit frightened for reasons unknown to him but today when Aditya announced that the family wants Jai to settle before Ranveer, the dixits were visible upset though they did try to be normal & polite. Is the girl blaming him for delay in her cousin's wedding, does she know, like her he is also upset with his family's attitude, does she have any idea the harrowing times he underwent during his 1st marriage which left no desire to repeat the experience again…
When Jai's mother died after a brief illness, he was in his early teens and Jigyasa married busy with her children, Jai's father Uday had requested his recently widowed sister-in-law to come and take care of his household, masi who did not have any children was also looking for company, promptly agreed, she came in to take over the reins of the walia household…and with her entry came Lalita Bua, sister-in-law of Masi, cousin of her dead husband, who lived in Mumbai and was quiet friendly to her…when she paid her weekly visits, Meera her daughter two years younger than Jai accompanied her. Meera was very likeable girl, with good features and infectious smile, she cracked the latest jokes and dressed as per latest fashion, Jigyasa too quite liked her, in the meantime Uday Walia was killed in a road accident, the mantle of the Walia Industries fell on young Jai's shoulder's …while Jai tried to learn the tricks of the trade, the family thought he should settle down, while he was busy with his professional career a wife would take care of his social life, Jai had no problems, the only thing, he did not have any steady girlfriend to whom he wanted to get married to….the problem was taken care by Jigyasa, why not Meera, she is attractive, belongs to our community and of course we know the family…Jai agreed, he was too busy with his expanding business to romance someone new, and Meera has been coming to his house and they had exchanged more than basic pleasantries when they met, so it was fabulous engagement followed by grand wedding, Jai was 27, Meera was 25…on their 'Suhaag Raat' Jai discovered Meera was no virgin, it was not an issue with him, he infact did not notice it initially but it was Meera who pointed it out to him…he told her, it is not important to him, when Meera started describing the 'event ' and how she lost it, Jai remained quiet and listened to her, he was not enjoying the explicit description but heard it with a thought that it will make her feel better…
Jai & Meera went back to normal routine life on return from their honeymoon abroad. Jai once again got busy with his business and had to put double effort to makeup for the time off he had taken off during his wedding. Meera cribbed, Masi supported her but Jai simply could not take out time from his busy schedule, he had launching of new business lines, alongwith IPOs of his main business etc etc., lined up…after 4/5 months Jai found out Meera was cheating on him…he happened to be in a party just to surprise Meera one evening when he was able to leave office early, with a thought to make up for all the time he was unable to give her, when he entered the party and looked around, Meera was smooching a guy behind the pillars…inspite of being caught red-handed she was least guilty, Jai accepted his fault and started giving her more time, one afternoon he had been invited for lunch by some of his business associates in one of most happening restaurants of Mumbai when he noticed Meera sitting in one corner with a new guy, the way they were holding hands and leaning on to each other inspite of being inside one of the most crowded restaurants of Mumbai, Jai felt ashamed and was hoping that no one else noticed her…he somehow sat through the lunch without registering any of the conversation going around him, that evening he was waiting for her to return and when she finally did, the dam burst open, Jai accused her point blank, she smiled sweetly and told him he was unnecessary getting hyper and behaving like a jealous husband, hearing their voices Masi came alongwith Jigyasa, Meera sweetly told them about 'Jai's galatfaimi' and his possessiveness about her…to prove her point she stayed at home the next few days and behaved like a perfect Bahu…Masi and Jigyasa had no option but to agree with Meera, Jai was actually guilty for not giving enough time to her, hence his behaviour…Jai started having self doubts when after a few days one of his very close friend Mohan Khandelwal called up to say that he had happened to see Meera smooching a boy in the back seat of her car, Jai this time was smart enough, he hired a private detective and went on a long trip zigzagging the country making deals and looking for sites…on his return after 10 days he was surprised the detective was ready with the result…so soon…he could not help but asking, yes Sir, we did not have to work hard, she is a show off and a careless woman, sweet talker and lays trap cleverly but since becoming Mrs Jai Walia, things became much easier as guys looking for expensive gifts soon became her prey, she loved to show off her preys and bragged about them endlessly to her friend circle…her close friends know about it and were surprised to note that inspite of everything Jai Walia was not taking any actions….
She was a nymphomaniac in short….
Jai's world was shattered, his married life ended before it started, he sat in his chamber with hand on his head, though he knew Meera for many years, they did not meet beyond family get-togethers, her friend circle was different than his, how come she did not try it on him before marriage or was she trying to hitch him up from the very beginning, he remembered Lalita Bua flattering words about him and Meera's shy glances at him, if his eyes happen to meet hers…
That evening when Jai returned he found his home unusually quiet, he knew Jigyasa & Aditya had gone for a holiday, the children were out most probably as it was Friday night, Masi and dadi were attending an akhand path session in the mandir nearby….Jai thanked god, he could now confront Meera without worrying people are listening outside…
