Chapter 3

Well Jai had got home. His usual nonsense talking to his Aishwarya Rai poster. He throws his bag on the floor and changes into his sleeping cloths and slips his nightgown on. He sawthat Kaho Naa Pyaar Hain was showing on T.V so he decided to watch it.

At about 19:00 Jai's doorbell rang. Jai was thinking who could it be at this time? He opened the door and there standing before him was Bani. Bani looked at Jai with a candle in her hand. Jai turned the lights on and made Bani sit down as it was quite chilly outside.

Jai: Bani tum iss waqt?

Bani: Actually Jai my friend forgot to pay the electricity bill for this month so we don't actually have electricity.

Jai: Oh.

Bani: My friend has gone to her boyfriend's house so I don't have any friends around here so I thought why not come to your place.

Jai: Sure anytime. Anyway I'm watching Kaho Naa Pyaar Hain so if you want to watch too then you may.

Bani: Thanks.

Jai: So where do you work?

Bani: I work at Burger King.

Jai: Oh, that's nice.

Bani: And you work in the bank.

Jai: Ya but my real potential is further than that as I could be the bank owner if I wanted to but I never get the post as yet so…

Bani: Ya, it's really hard to get a job. Anyways I'm part time studying too.

Jai: Studying at your age. I mean you should be finished by now.

Bani: I am but I study a bit here and there to get a bit of knowledge.

Jai: Oh! Coffee?

Bani: Ya, that would be great!

Jai got up and went to his small kitchen and put the water to boil.

Bani explored his small house. Bani went into Jai's bedroom and saw that he had a guitar there and took it with her. By that time Jai had made the coffee and kept it on the table. Jai called Bani and Bani came walking briskly.

Jai: Coffee.

Bani: Why did you hide it from me?

Jai: Hide what?

Bani: That you're a guitar player.

Jai: Oh that, I'm not that good.

Bani: But you must play for me.

Jai: But coffee.

Bani: We can drink it after a few minutes.

So Jai played the song Saawariya from the movie Saawariya.

(guitar intro with Saawariya's)

Dholi mein bitake sitaron se sajake,

Zaamane se churake le jayega,

Saawariya ha ha ha-a

Saawariya ha ha ha-a.

Saawariya oh Saawariya

…………………….

Bani applauded!

Bani: Wah, Wah!

Jai: (bowing) Thank you. Now can we have the coffee?

Bani: Yes.

They both slurped up their coffee and started telling jokes to each other. Before they knew the time they both fell fast asleep. Jai was on the same sofa as Bani so As the night grew deeper Bani was already on Jai's chest snoring and sleeping peacefully.

Chapter 4

Well it was a Saturday and it was 8:00am in the morning. Jai and Bani got up at the same time. Jai looked a bit startled to see Bani on his chest. Bani was so shocked as to how she landed up on Jai's chest. She got up immediately.

Jai: Subah ho gaya.

Bani: (yawning) Good morning.

Jai: Good morning. Chai?

Bani: Ya.

Jai went again to the kitchen and brought in some tea.

Jai: Here we go.

Bani: Thanks.

They quickly sipped up there tea.

Bani: I think I should go now.

Jai: Okay, bye. We'll meet in the evening.

Bani: Okay, bye.

Bani got back to her house.

Sandhya: Hi room partner. Where were you last night?

Bani: I was at Jai's.

Sandhya: What? The whole night?

Bani: Ya, why?

Sandhya: Just asking.

Just then they both heard a knocking at the door. Sandhya went to answer it.

Jai: Hi Sandy.

Sandhya: Jai you, hi! Kaise aana hua?

Jai: I came to return Bani's jacket.

Sandhya: Oh ho Romeo saab!

Jai blushed.

Jai: Here's your jacket.

Bani: Thanks.

Jai: Okay I must leave.

Sandhya: Oho Jai. So you didn't come to meet me?

Jai hugged Sandhya and said good bye. Jai then went and hugged Bani. He said good bye girls and see ya in the afternoon. Bani was just stunned as to what just happened.

Bani: Is he always that open.

Sandhya: Yes, he's pretty much open with the girls. Though he treats me like a guy.

Bani: Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha…

Jai making coffee and tea, wonder how it tastes 😆? I thought drinking coffee will help people to stay awake 😆? just kidding.
