Chapter 1

So the scene starts of in Jai's office. Well he was as usual following his boss's orders and completing his work. He was attending to all the customers. Really it was too busy at the bank. Everyone wanted to make an account and there were noisy children screaming. Jai was getting frustrated at seeing all the people.

He decided to go in his cabin to deal with the Home Loans. Just then a tall, thin lady walked through the door and into his cabin. She was very beautiful and was eagerly waiting to be helped. Jai put down his mug of coffee and exited whatever was on the computer. He put his geeky glasses on and smiled and looked at Bani.

Jai: So how can I help you?

Bani: Well I've come to pay of my home loan and here's the money.

Jai took the money in hands and put it in the machine, when the machine showed how much was there Jai looked at it and looked up sternly.

Jai: But this is only half of it.

Bani: Yes I know but that's all I've got with me at the moment but I'll pay the full amount at the end of the year.

Jai: Madam, we are only in January right now so you'll pay at the end of the year.

Bani: Yes, I know it's a long time from here but I need some time.

Jai: But ma'am you are supposed to pay everything by September.

Bani: Yes I know and I'll try to pay it.

Jai: Okay ma'am.

Bani: Okay so my work here is done, I'll take your leave.

Jai: Good bye ma'am.

Chapter 2

It was finally closing time for the bank. Jai was exhausted after attending to all complaints and home loans. Finally he decided to go home. The bank was locked up and he decided to walk home. He was on his way home and was humming and singing a tune.

It went like this,

Ankhon Ne Tumhari Mitti Bataon Mein,

Ho, Ankhon Mein Tumhari Mitti Bataon Mein.

Meri Neend Udhai Mera Chein Churaya,

Sapna Sajaiya Apna Banaya,

Apna Banake Sapna Sajake,

He then hummed that same song again.

He finally reached his road and was doing hopscotch on the floor until an umbrella flew in the air and hit him on the head. Jai held his head and fell on his knees.

A tall young woman came up to him.

Bani: I'm really sorry, really.

Jai: No it's okay.

Bani had a good look at his face.

Bani: You, the home loan wala.

Jai: Yes and the name is Jai.

Bani reached out her hand and pulled Jai up but the ground was a bit too slippery and instead of pulling him up, he pulled her down. She fell on the ground with a large thud.

Bani: Ouch!

Jai: I'm sorry, sorry.

Bani: Oh man!

Bani got up and so did Jai.

Jai: Are you alright?

Bani: Yes, I'm fine.

Jai: So you live nearby?

Bani: Yes, I do, I live at the end of this street.

Jai: Really what number?

Bani: 52! Actually I have a roommate with me so we both share the room.

Jai: I live in 51! Hi so you're new here?

Bani: Ya, in this street yes but I've been around here.

Jai: Well I'm Jai and I'm your new neighbor.

Bani: Hi, I'm Bani.

Jai: Okay so I'll take your leave if you need anything then do drop by.

Bani: Thanks bye.

Jai: Bye.
