Thanks for wonderful comments, I hope you enjoy reading the hiking escapes as much as I enjoyed writing them.
AT Seventeen Pt 18

The girls waved and screamed as their jeep passed Jai and Bani's. Jai putting his arms around Bani and making himself comfortable and releasing a slow breathe, "Thank God, We'll get some peace and quiet for a while."
Bani giggling, "Come on Jai, they are cute and fun. Just think how much fun you are going to have…they are going to spoil you rotten."
Jai rolled his eyes, "But Bani I feel like…that woman….Maria in Sound of Music, going tramping over the hills with kids. I feel as if one them is going to burst into 'The hills are alound with the sound of music.'"
Bani pecking his cheek, Mujhe lagta hai yeh aapki diwanis woh angreezi gana nahi lekin yeh gana gayegi 'Saat Samundar Paar Mei Teri Pechee Pechee Aagaye.'"
"Bani whose side are you on, mine or theirs."
Fluttering her eyes, "Mr Walia, I am always on your side. And suneyi…I don't know about Maria but I must say you make a very handsome Captain Von Trapp."
Jai laughed and pulled her close, "Yeah…abhi mujhe naval commander bana diya…this ship is very rocky…seasick toh nahi hogi na."
The road was narrow and winding and the girls would now and then wave back at them.

Swati saw Bunny and Preet talking in whispers and pulled Bunny's hat and said, "Wanna share your secrets with us? What are you two gussphussing aobut."
Bunny giggled while Preet's cheeks coloured, "Me and Preet were just wondering if Mr Walia was like Salman Khan under all those clothes he's wearing…haila those rippling biceps and those six-pack abs…mujhe kuch kuch hota hai."
MT sighed, "Yeah I want to see those legs…prison chaddi mei nehi dekha, lekin nike shorts mei toh jaroor dekhungi."
The girls all started talking at once drowning out each other, shouting ways to get Jai to strip down to his shorts.
The jeep stopped at Korad and everyone got out. The guide led them on a 45 minute hike to the Kune Falls. The 100 metre falls in the luscious Amby valley was breathtaking.
Preet tilted her head back and looked up and shouted over the thundering noise of the water, "Mr Walia this like mini Niagara Falls."
Jai shouted back, "Dekha na mera India meh subh kuch hai...waterfalls hai…forts hai…lakes hai aur mere jaise khubsoorat ladke bhi jayadaa hai. Bol de Taz jaise tujhe ko bhi fix kardu…"
Preet just turned beetroot red whilst the rest of the girls doubled over with laughter.
It was perfect Kodak moment…the cameras came out and the girls clicked away happily. The girls all posed with Jai while Bani clicked away on the camera. The sly look on Jai's face did not go unnoticed by Bani.

After an hour or so they hiked back to the jeep and drove off towards Rajmachi Fort. The jeep stopped at Ramachi village, where they stopped to have simple food at a small caf. The only food available was simple daal, chawl and sabzi and after initial hesitation the group enjoyed the tasty hot food. After few minutes of rest the group set off up the rocky hills to climb up to the fort.
Swati decided that they needed a song to push them up the steep slopes and burst out into:

Poor Khusboo laughed so hard that she almost tumbled down and had it not been for Jai, who stopped her fall. MT who loved hiking and quiet at home here in the hills was way ahead, stopping now and then to wait for them and take photos of the scenery.
Two grueling hours later the group were standing atop the fort and gazing with wonder at the valley below.
MT who wasn't huffing and puffing as much as the others, "This place reminds me of Sai Kung back in Hong Kong. Actually it's even better so green and beautiful and I like the mists floating around."
Swati who makes frequent trip to Switzerland said, "mujhe bhi Gruyres ki yaad aati hai."
Bunny looked bewildered at MT, "Lekin yeh Gruyres toh cheese hai, I don't see anything that reminds me of cheese here."
Jai laughed hard and Bani poked him, "What's so funny?"
"Yeh Bunny bhi na…Gruyres is named after the region where the cheese is made."
Bani poked him again and feeling sorry for Bunny, "Bunny is not at fault, and if one hasn't been to Switzerland then they wouldn't know."
dekho ruthhaa naa karo, baat najaron kee suno
hum naa bolenge kabhee, tum sataayaa naa karo…(tere ghar ke samne)
The rest of the gawked as Jai pulled Bunny into a beary hug, "Ok I am sorry Bunny…" For the rest of the day Bunny felt as if she was floating on air. Her favourite teddy bear had given her a great big hug.
Another Kodak session followed as they explored the fort and the vicinity. Coming down was much faster as the various member of the group slipped and slithered down the trail.
After a brief stop for refreshments at the caf they got into the jeep and drove off to Bushi lake. It did not take long for some of the girls to fall asleep, tired from all that walking. Only MT and Swati were still talking when they reached the lake.
The lake surrounded by lush green gardens and mini waterfalls is popular place with the tourists. There was a lot of screaming and shouting going on as kids, adults and senior walked or stood under the streaming water.
The girls started taking their shoes and pants off as they all wanted to play under the water. Bani looked at them and said to Jai, "Yeh lakiyaan paagal hai kya. They are going to cause a riot if they step out of the jeeps in their shorts."
Jai pulling his track pants off, "Main hoon na…kuch nahi hoga…" Flexing his arms, "mere yeh muscles dekh kaar koi paas nahi ayeega." Bani trying to stop him, "You can't do this Jai…"
Picking her up and walking towards foaming whirlpool of water, "Sure I can…and you not going to stand at the side and watch."
Jigna ran under one of the fall and then started dancing and singing, her latest favourite filmi song.

MT and Swati ogled as they spied Jai's in his nike chaddi showing perfect legs and abs.
Catching sight of couple of hunks in ripped of jean shorts, looking at them interest, Swati pulled MT and said, "Chaal meri saath…yahaan kuch nahi kaar payegi jab tak biwi ko gale pe lapete baitha . Let's go and find our own tiger to play with."

Along time later, a bedraggled group of hikers tumbled into the hotel. Everyone except Jai and Bani, wanted to run under a hot shower and hit the bed. While the girls drifted off into their dreamland, Jai and Bani were too busy playing out their dreams within the four walls of their suite.
Back to Walia house, dadi will be visiting…..
