Jai watched his mother coming out of the kitchen pale and dazed…
Jai took her to her room…she kept staring at him….he helped her to get into bed…
As he was leaving, beta tujhe bhi lagta hai ki mai teri ma nehi hu…

Jai laughed, dekho ma, Haridwar tu mujhe jana chahiye....ek Roshni ko mai mushkil se sambhalta tha, abh Bani a gayi, aaplogo ne aaj toh haad kar di, abh uske pass jaane me daar lag raha hai, theek hai hum dono ek saath Haridwar chalte hai..
Dai ma kept silent for the first time she was realizing Jai's position stuck between two wives, Roshni was very opinated but it seems Bani was no less, she was less vocal but ….Dai ma pressed Jai's hand, she understood Bani did not just want to be a baby producing machine to Jai Walia…usse kuch aur bhi chahiye…aajkaal ki ladkiyo ka chahat ka koi anth nehi…Dai ma sighed…

Roshni did hear Bani shouting back at her bua, well atlast she thought, inspite of being married to Jai for so many years, she never shouted at Dai Ma in that voice, they had their share of cold war but Jai was very particular when it came to respecting her, he never allowed anyone including his relatives to say anything harsh about her…..he even seldom lost his patience with his mother, now what will he say to Bani, well as Bani said, she is her khoon ka rishta…Roshni gave one quick look at the mirror, yes the new haircut is suiting her, she blended her eye shadow once again, is it too much she thought, she never used these before, it was only lipstick and eyeliner for her, gave one last look at herself, does she need to start working out, she was naturally slim, is she putting on weight around the middle…she looked at different angles, gave a satisfied shrug and walked her way out, on her way downstairs met Jai…
Kaha ja rahi ho, in this weather…
Barish rukh gayi hai ghar me baith kar keya karongi…

Roshni suddenly felt guilty, she lowered her head and went down, Jai watched her then climbed the stairs to go towards Bani room, he stood in front of Bani's room to watch Roshni taking the car keys and walking towards the front door, she suddenly turned her head, held his gaze and then walked out…Jai stood there for sometime, Roshni was looking so different with so much of makeup, what wrong with her, she never used these before, she was naturally beautiful….
