Hey guys though i had initially planned to post the first part on Friday i'm going to post it now one reason being that its Guli's birthday and another being my exams went really well... so here it is especially for Guli!
Part 1
She stood there next to the door calming her rapid heartbeat, which was as she put he likely loud enough to be heard by the city… smiling to herself she stood there for God knows how long till she heard a knock on the door. Composing herself, she opened the door and met with the eyes of a person who was more than a mother figure for her Krishna! She lowered her eyes not being able to help the blush creeping on her face.
Krishna lifted her face gently with her hand her eyes were closed, 'Bani' she looked up to Krishna and hugged her trying to escape her vision.
Rubbing her head tenderly 'abhi se yeh haal hai, jub woh aa jayega tab kya karegi' Krishna
After a pause 'Ma kya usse mein yaad hungi?' Bani
Krishna: aise ho sakta hai ki who apni sabsi pyari dost ko bhool jaye?
Bani thought 'subse pyaari dost, tabhi jabse gaya hai sirf ek baar phone kiya'
Krishna: kya sochne lagi bol na
Bani: usse gaye hue kitne saal ho gaye, jub se gaya hai kitne baar baat kare mujhse batayeh, toh shayad aab usse koi aaur mil gayi ho, she pouted
Krishna smiled 'mujhe kuch jalne ki bu aa rahi hai, and looked around
Bani turned red realizing the true meaning of her own statement and hid her face in her palms
Krishna: Pagli
'Pagli nahi Ma PAGAL ekdum pagal' beamed a voice from the door…
Krishna and Bani turned to see Anu standing there hands on each side of the door giggling..
'Bani tera kuch nahi ho sakta you're mad, aaur afsoos ki baat toh dekho' circling her 'mera beechara bhai usse toh yeh pagalpan zindagi bhar jhelna parega' running around Krishna now as Bani was chasing her.
Bani: ther toh jaa abhi batati hoon
Anu still running 'haan bol na darta kaun hai, aa na aa' dashing down the stairs
Bani: Anu ruk ja meh kehti hoon
Anu turning back a little : kyun aab nahi batana hehehe, and started running again as Bani started towards her once more…. After chasing over many tables, and chairs Anu went out in the garden but stopped as the sprinklers were on 'aaaahhhhhhhhhhh' Bani twisted her ear 'ab kahan bhagegi'
Anu laughed 'sorry yaar, chor na' still giggling 'Sorry my foot…' but let go of her ear turning around. Anu thought to herself 'kuch zyada ho gaya, hmm' she hugged her from the back 'sorry yaar, meh toh sirf mazak kar rahi thi' Anu 'Bani bahut naraz hai'
Bani: haan bahut
Anu very seriously 'Bani yeh narazgi bhai ke liye sambhal ke rakh samjhi mere saath toh theek theek reh, warna' coming in front of her 'teri waatt laga dungi' both girls rolled down laughing together!
Bani: tera kuch nahi ho sakta
Anu: bhai sangat ka asar hai madam, jab tera nahi hua toh mera kaise hoga winking
Bani: beshram
Anu: whatever, they both were silent for a while when Anu finally spoke up 'Bani'
Bani: hmm
Anu: Bani tujhe wakai meh lagta hai ki bhai tujhe bhool gaya hoga!
Bani looked down, almost afraid to even think about what the answer could be, for ever since she realized the feelings of love, she had loved Jai her best friend a person she looked upto and who was always there in good and bad times, but she had never managed to tell him about her true feeling for him for she feared her feelings not being reciprocated then what, would that change their friendship too, no no she couldn't risk it, but as she had thought Jai's mom had known this all along, which didn't surprise her a bit as she probably knew Bani more than she knew herself.. and with Anu it was a totally different ball game, Anu and Bani never hid anything from each other, from childhood they had played together being next door neighbors they were together all the time, this had been like her second house, daughter of Supreme court lawyer Nishikant Dixit Bani was mostly alone at home as her father was away from home mostly, she spent a large amount of her time at Jai's house where she was welcomed with open arms, being a motherless child in Krishna Bani had found her mom, Ma as she fondly called her! They had taken very good care of her in the absence of her father despite that she had a nany she stayed at the Walia house a lot more than her own house. Remembering how she had hugged Krishna for the first time when her father had introduced her to the Walia family brought warmth to her heart!
Anu waved a hand in front of her eyes 'eh hello kahan khoi hui hai wapas aa ja'
Bani was lost in her own world she looked around 'meh woh kuch nahi tune kuch kaha?'
Anu shook her head 'haan apni duniya mein khone se pehle tu mujhe batane wali thi ki, kya tujhe wakai meh lagta hai ki bhai tujhe bhool gaya hoga?'
Bani tried to change the subject 'Aree Anu dekh na kitne der ho gayi hai, Papa bhi ane wale honge mujhe chalna chaiyeh looking at her watch'
Anu shook her head 'yeh larki bhi na' 'haan chal meh bhi tere saath chalti hoon.
Bani knew this spelt trouble but she didn't have a choice when Anu said she was coming she was coming.. kahan phas gayi 'theek hai chal'
Anu to herself 'Bani akhir kab tak tu iss baat se bhagegi, kher tension not agar tera ilag nahi kiya toh phir meh kiss marz ki dawa hoon, not bad Anu kya baat hai 'wah wah' for myself!
