Jai and Bani are childhood friends cum neighbours and Bani has deeper feelings for Jai. Am glad that Krishna and Anu know of this and also approve of Bani, but the greater question is that has Jai ever thought of Bani in those terms 😕 I truely hope he does not come back with an angrezi mem latching onto his shoulders and I hope he understands how much Bani loves him 😳

So will J come back with ladki in tow??? Very cute parts..update soon...

Part 2

Anu: Mom, meh Bani ke sath jaa rahi hoon, aap wait mat karna meh kal aa jayungi

Krishna: theek hai jao, aaur dono subah aa jana

Anu: Mom subah uth gaye toh theek warna, dophar tak toh definitely aa jayenge, na Bani

Bani: Ma hum aa jayenge

Anu: haan aaur Ma agar Jai bhaiya ka phone aye toh unhe bol dena ki jaldi se aajayen kisko unka besabari se intizaar hai

Bani: ANU… kuch bhi bolti hai

Anu: kyun maine kuch galat kaha?

Krishna: Anu kyun beechari ko cherti rehti hai

Anu: this is not fair mom, abhi se apni bahu ki side lene lagi, abhi toh beta bhi wapas nahi aya hai; Bani blushed a deep shade of red wishing she could go and hide somewhere far and not be found!

During the night

Anu: Bani jaldi aa na film shuru ho rahi hai

Bani: aa rahi hoon baba aa rahi hoon, aaur jaldi kya hai, dvd hai na pause kar de

Anu: magar tu jaldi mat karna

Bani: aa gayi mere Ma ab shuru kar

They were watching Hum Saath Saath Hain; they had seen the film so many times that all they by heart knew all the dialogues and use to mute it and different places and dub while watching.. They were at the part when Prem comes back home, Bani had a smile on her lips just thinking about the moment when Jai will come back, her pulse quickened at the mere thought of being under the same roof as him, being in the same room with him 'haye Ram yeh meh kya sooch rahi hoon' she chided herself mentally for her thoughts but couldn't help but feel happy imagining the prospect of all of this coming true.

Anu noticed her friend lost in her world, smiled knowing what she must be dreaming about 'Bani dekh Jai bhaiya'

Bani came out of trance 'Kahan' she looked around only to see Anu holding her stomach laughing. It took a moment to sink in but Bani caught on to her act, grabbing a pillow started hitting her, smiling laughing 'jhooti, besharam, stupid, idiot' anu was still laughing but managed to get a pillow and started hitting her back 'aaur koi shabd bhi agar dictionarly meh ho toh woh bhi bolde' still laughing along having their pillow fight. After nearly fifteen minutes both girls stopped as there was nothing left in the pillow, all the stuffing had come out and was on the bed now…… they looked at eachother and then the bed, seeing the mess they had created rolled down on the bed giggling.

Anu: this was fun

Bani: dreamily hmm kya?

Anu: ab toh wapas aa ja yaar

Bani: hit her on the head playfully and soon they both drifted off to sleep forgetting all about the film which continued to run on mute all night long…

Next morning Bani woke up early was used to it no matter how late she slept always got up about 6, looking over the room what a mess, there were feathers not only on the bed but also on the floor, Anu was not even close to being awake, and for that matter Bani left her sleeping and got ready herself lit the diya in the temple and went in the kitchen to prepare breakfast for her dad who would be leaving soon for the court.

While she set the table she saw her dad walk out going upto him she gave him a hug 'good morning Papa'

Nishikant: good morning kasie hi mere beti?

Bani: meh theek hoon papa, chaliyeh nashta taiyar hai

Nishikant: yeh kya sirf ek plate tu aaur Anu nahi kha rahe? Aaur who hai kahan?

Smiling: Papa woh kabhi itni jaldi uthi hai, so rahi hai raat ko waise bhi der se soye thi toh itni jaldi nahi uthne wali wo

Nishikant: toh tu toh kha le

Bani: nahi meh bhi uske saath meh kha lungi aap chinta mat karo

Nishikant: theek hai jaise teri marzi

Ring Ring

Bani: meh dekhti hoon

'Hello'

Mr. Gupta: Hello kaun Bani

Bani: jee namaste uncle kaise hain aap?

Mr. Gupta: theek hoon beta Nishikant hai kya?

Bani: jee abhi deti hoon, Dad Gupta uncle

Nishikant: hello, haan Ramesh

Mr. Gupta: Nishikant tu tayiar hai meh bas thori der meh nikal raha hoon.

Nishikant: haan tu paunch meh tujhe airport per milta hoon

Bani's face fell hearing airport, she knew that word a little too well, it meant she'd be alone at home again for God only knew for how long this time, true that she had an extended family in form of the Walia's but she still hated when her father used to leave her and not be back for weeks, months at a stretch due to hearings and other case proceeds. He had missed out on so much in her life due to his constant travels but she knew this is what her father lived and accepted it with a smile.

After finishing the call Nishikant: Beta mujhe

Bani: jana hoga

Nishikant: Bani its really important, I've to go you know that

Bani: yes I know, kab tak ayenge?

Nishikant: kuch keh nahi sakta per koshish karunga jaldi ane ki

Bani wanted to tell him about Jai that he was coming but refrained from saying anything, as it is it wouldn't make a difference in his plans, I'll just tell him once Jai's here.

Soonafter Nishikant left for the airport and Bani retired back to her room and laid down besides Anu and closed her eyes eventually falling asleep.

Krishna: Uday

Uday: haan Krishna bolo

Krishna: ab Jai bhi ane ki keh raha hai, meh sooch rahi hoon kyun na Jigs aaur Adi ko bhi bula lein

Uday: tumne mere mun ki baat chen li meh bhi yahi soch raha tha aacha rahega sub kitne waqt baad sath mein honge.

Krishna: toh meh usse aaj hi phone kardeti hoon. Jai ne kuch kaha ki kab aa raha hai?

Uday: nahi per shayad agle hafte tak aa jayega, aacha ab mein nikalta hoon office ke liye der ho rahi hai aaur aaj board meeting bhi hai

Ever Since Jai had confirmed his arrival date the remaining time was spent getting the house ready to welcome him, a day before he was coming Krishna had personally looked over his room to make sure it was just the way it was when he left it, she couldn't believe that her son was away from her for so long and soon would be here. Jigs's plan was delayed as her four month old son Sahil was not well, so she'd be coming after he got well.

Bani had stayed at the Walia house that night, she was up with sunrise next morning not that she had gotten any sleep the previous night, she couldn't her eyes were too full of Jai to even think about sleep. Coming in the kitchen she saw Krishna there 'looked like she was getting ready to host a feast, there were so many pans she had out.. Going up to her she circled her hands around her 'Ma, aap subah subah lag gayi'

Krishna: subah beta nau baj chuke hain aaur dekh abhi toh kitna kaam baki hai, mujhe uthne meh der ho gayi

Bani: abhi aaur bhi baki hai, Ma Jai akela hi aa raha hai na?

Krishna: haan kyun?

Bani: nahi khana dekh kar laga ki shayad puri barat aa rahi hai

She squirmed as Krishna squared her ears 'tu bhi Anu se kam nahi hai'

Bani: sorry Ma, kher meh kuch madat kardoon

Krishna: ab ayee na mudde ke baat per chal mera haath bata and Bani helped her in the preparation of rest of the dishes. In between they took a break for breakfast, Jai's flight was slated to arrive at 1 pm and it was 12 pm

Anu: Mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm jaldi karo bhai ki flight ka time ho raha hai, kitne der laga rahi ho.

Anu: Dad see, looking at her watch kya hai

Uday laughed at his daughter's impatience

Krishna: chalo aagayi kyun ghar sar per utha rakha hai?

Anu: Mom time dekho, itne der ho gayi

Krishna: ab der nahi ho rahi? Chal

Anu: haan, ab yeh Bani kahan hai?

Krishna: Bani haan woh kahan hai, just then they heard something in the kitchen

Bani was doing the dishes 'Bani kya kar rahi hai, kitne baar kaha hai mujhe nahi aacha lagta kit u bartan dhoye'

Anu: mom yeh sab baad meh, tujhe yahi waqt mila tha, jaldi kar airport nahi chalna kya

Bani 'nahi aap log ho ayo' shyly

Anu: Bani faltu meh bheja mat ka, chup chap chal

Bani: Anu sach mein meh yahan theek hoon, tu jaa na

Krishna: chal na beta tu yahan akele kya karegi

Bani: Ma

Krishna: Bani mujhe kuch nahi sunna tu jaa aaur change kar le

Bani: change, looking down at herself, isme kya kharabi hai

Anu: kuch khas nahi bas masalon ki smell aa rahi hai, bhai se door baithne ka aacha bahana hai.. winking at her making her blush

Krishna: Anu

Anu: got it mom, aab chal

Bani changed into one of Anu's salwa kameez, and they all left to receive Jai at the Bombay international airport.

They all rushed out as soon as the driver parked the car on the side, they were already late thanks to the Mumbai traffic..

Anu: I hope ki flight na land ki ho

Krishna: Anu ab toh aagaye hain na chal dekhte hain

True to Anu's words the flight had indeed landed, now the question was where was Jai so the search began. All of them went in different directions to try and locate Jai. Bani stood there still for a few seconds almost afraid to move from there, not knowing what she'll do if she did happen to find him, or to what he'd say, weather he'd recognize her or not. Thinking to herself she took a few steps forward not looking where she was going and bumped right into……

Anu and Bani's friendship is sooo sweet. It reminds me of someone my friends as well...the nakhra's and teasing and the pillow fights 😊 Anu's good natured ribbing makes Bani blush so much. Wonder what will happen when she comes face to face with the man of her dreams 😳
