Chapter Thirteen

The next morning Bani woke up startled to feel a large frame against hers and two robust arms wrapped around. Her eyes flew open and stared at Jai's good-looking face. She thought she was dreaming so she blinked her eyes a couple of times to realize it was reality.

Bani had missed him so much over the course of two weeks and now he sleeping beside her. She admired his baby like face as he was snoozing. His dark thick hair was ruffled and a sweet smile played on his lips. Without thinking Bani stroked his black hair lightly, smoothing it out. Surprisingly Jai's eyes opened slowly glancing at her sleepily.

Bani instantly dropped her hand from his hair as a small blush crept on her cheeks. "Good morning," Jai grinned wearily. "Good morning, when did you arrive?" Bani inquired quietly. "Last night," Jai replied stretching his arms letting Bani escape out of his hold.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" she questioned Jai. "You were sleeping so peacefully that I didn't have the heart to wake you up," Jai admitted peering at her dazed expression. "Did you miss me?" Jai asked rather huskily. Bani bowed her head down not wanting to stare into his eyes.

She nodded tediously unknowingly her face became light red again. "Hmm it seemed like you did," Jai teased referring to the picture she was hugging onto. His words took time to sink in and after she realized the picture frame was located back on the table, she became even more shy than before.

Jai suppressed his chuckle and leaned over the bed to grasp the small velvety case on the night stand. Holding it in his large manly hand he noticed Bani was trying to get a glimpse. "What is it?" Bani inspected. "While in Dubai I had a chance to go to the mall and I bought you something," Jai narrated opening the case.

The diamond ring in the case appeared stunning and Bani wondered why Jai bought such an expensive gift for her. Jai attained the ring in his fingers taking it out of the case. He held onto Bani's delicate hand as he slipped it on her finger gently.

Jai was right from when he noticed the ring in the store that it would look radiant on her finger. He didn't receive any response from her and now was confused if she liked it or either was too mesmerized by the ring to talk. "Do you like it?" Jai questioned.

"I love it. Thanks, but it looks expensive," Bani frowned. "It wasn't that pricey but it doesn't matter all I knew when I looked at this ring was it would appear ravishing on your finger," Jai grinned. Bani was taken aback and she hugged him tightly to display her appreciation towards him.

Jai held onto her and kissed her forehead. Ending their precious moment, came the dreadful sound of the telephone. Two weeks Jai and Bani were apart now that they had time alone the annoying phone rang, it seemed like it was Jai and Bani's enemy.

Jai tried to pull away from Bani to answer the phone but she resisted not wanting to let go. "Can't we ignore it?" she whispered. Jai smiled at her, "I was hoping you would say that." Bani carved for Jai as much as he did and this time she didn't shy away as Jai caressed her face with his palm.

Ending the torture she pulled her body up meeting his lips and enclosing them with hers warmly. Their tongues strived for one another and they passionately danced together. Bani broke away to catch her breath and with her shaky fingers she undid his shirt pressing hot kisses on his chest, neck and stomach.

"You're something else in bed, do you know that," Jai groaned pinning her underneath him. Placing feverish kisses on her neck he marked her many times leaving red spots. Taking her pajama top off he noticed she was bare underneath. Caressing her br**sts, Bani moaned with pleasure.

He nipped at them than his mouth did wonders. Bani's fingers became tangled with his hair and she took uneven breaths. Jai slipped her pajama pants off and kissed her inner thighs as she whimpered under him. Than discarding the rest of clothing he made Bani his again.

They met each other's needs and their bodies flowed with a rhythmic vibe. Taking Bani's high-pitched moans in his mouth, Jai kissed her deeply probing her mouth. Nearing climax Jai felt like he was going to explode. After their intimate experience their bodies laid entangled in one another.

Jai soothed Bani stroking her cheeks lovingly. His deep soothing voice calmed her body down making her less tense. She slowly drifted off to sleep, occasionally hearing Jai whispering sweet comments in her ear.

Rano sat on her sofa and continuously pressed the button on the remote changing the channels. She sighed and fling the remote on the sofa. There was nothing to watch on television and on top of that she was bored. She heard the doorbell ring and got up wondering who it was.

Peaking through the hole she saw Ranveer. Excitedly she opened the door and enveloped him in a hug. Shocked at her reaction Ranveer stood still than realized she was hugging him and he hugged her back loving the warm fuzzy feeling. Rano came back to reality and broke away from the hug abruptly.

She punched him on the shoulder hard leaving him in distraught first she hugged him now she was beating him up. "Ouch," Ranveer rubbed his shoulder acting agonized with pain. "That's for not meeting me in two weeks," Rano said angrily.

"It wasn't my fault, I told you I went away on a business trip," Ranveer explained stepping inside her apartment. "Excuse me you informed me one week into your business trip not before you went away," Rano replied arrogantly. "Yeah it's all the same," Ranveer shrugged.

Rano shook her head and glanced at his state it seemed like the first thing he did when he came back from Dubai was to see Rano. "Have you ate breakfast yet?" Rano asked. "No," Ranveer mumbled. "Wait here I'll go make some for you," Rano said.

While eating breakfast Ranveer stared at Rano and thought it was the right moment to ask what he had wanting to ask her from day one. "So Rano since we haven't spent any time together for two weeks…I was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me," Ranveer articulated.

Rano gazed at him questioningly as Ranveer finished the last bits of breakfast. "Don't get me wrong, I mean plain dinner nothing else. I won't touch you or anything. I promise I will be a gentleman and we could go as friends, nothing more." Ranveer explained nervously.

"Dinner that's it?" Rano asked. "Yeah that's it," Ranveer repeated. "Umm but what if I want dessert?" Rano teased sensing his nervous state. Ranveer laughed, "Don't worry there will be dessert too." "Fine than I guess I have to go," Rano smiled. "Tomorrow I will pick you up at 8pm," Ranveer added while leaving her apartment.
