Why does everytime a JB fan says something its insecurity/threat and others say something its defense????

And this forum has A LOT to talk about even without the insults to actors and members. Though whatever we say, won't make a difference it seems....As part of the Dev. Team, we can't sit back and watch views being insulted constantly.

Reemz...I am not saying dont do anything...but why are fingers being pointed in one direction only??? Why are rules made that takes away from a group and gives to another???

I dont get PMs complaining about the disputes in this forum, for no reason. 😕

I never said that Forum is not in a bad shape, it is...but then take stronger steps against the miscreants as opposed to forcing everyone to not opine...

Its not what you say...its HOW you say. I dont mean you personally, its a general comment. I dont think only JB fans are being targeted. In fact 95% JB fans are fine but here we are on about the selected few. And believe me they have been verbally warned so many times, hence more rules had to be put forward. We even allowed weasel but someone had to misuse it again which caused an uproar between members.

Which is worse? I guess its ok to go to someone's physical attributes when u are defending...so be it...

Frankly I dont like the term "moti" being used for MIL...but I dont see anyone objecting that (ever)...is that because she is not an important character? or is it because she is not RR/RK/PD?

^I had no idea about the moti word. But does anyone jump to defend her? Thats why Im saying...name calling could be allowed if the topics didnt turn so horrible. The fact is that AD is a very important character as is JW and Bani. If someone calls the MIL a moti...no-one feels offended. As harsh as that sounds but I dont see anyone disputing it. But with weasel, members do get offended because its to do with their favourite character. Its where the discussion leads to, which we have to be careful of. 😊

IF people stop calling each other stupid and say "who asked for your opinion?" ....sure call JW buddha...Bani...budhi (or something like that). Its the aftershocks we have to be wary of.

Based on what you just explained the whole problem comes from the fact that RR is popular and has fan following...right?

Coz moti is directed to the person (her physical attributes)... weasal is directed at the character (deeds as perceived by the people using that name...again referring the human meaning of the noun weasal).

Isn't this double standards...if people want to raise their voices about usage of names, why is another character allowed to be called fat???

About sending a PM...I personally dont mind any names used...unless a person on the forum is attacked... In the past JW was called fat and suddenly people too offense to it...I dont care either which way...all I am saying is...if there are rules made because of a rackus on a particular thing, why are there no rackuses for people who are not as popular??? Rules should not be made to please people...they should be made to direct everyone to a common ground.

Heehee...if it were to please people, we wouldn't be disagreeing like this. 😛 I know a lot of people aren't happy with the rules and at the same time, I do have support from many. Thats why we have to keep a balance...name calling was allowed because majority seemed ok with it but then later it became the reason for personal insults. Thats the worst thing...though it may seem far off, all these rules are ultimately for you lot. 😊
