Calling out to all residents of Land of the Dead,
Ok Seriously, my sense of humor (whatever little there was), has gone to the dogs for now.
I was reading a few (albeit repetitive) posts and had a thought, why have so many posts which essentially are leading to saying who is a better man. I figured I want to see who will make a more successful marriage, if someone is to be married tomorrow.
So here is my analysis
AD/DDG
- Marriage is based on compromise(3/4) and one sided love (1/4)
- 1/2 compromise from Bani + 1/4 compromise from AD giving him the benefit of doubt that he agreed for Ma's sake
- Q- do AW/KW count in the rest of the Walia's. In Bani's view point in dont think so, but what about AD? Has this been made clear (please give solid examples not conclusions)
- They are both pained tortured creatures
- Point of interest - JB were the same during their first marriage.
My Analysis: High Possibility (they are dressed, preps in full form, symbolism - wiping of the name from the Mehendi without any regret) Easy Feasibility (Isn't it supposed to be the first one to take place?) Chances of success: Moderate (they have a lot of things in common, yet a marriage based on compromise can only go so far. I am not saying Bani may not fall in love with him, but I am not a seer)
Jai/DDG
- Basis of marriage will be Love (2/3) + Revenge (1/3)
- 1/2 for Jai, 1/6 DDG (for the Bani that hopefully lives somewhere in there)
- Despite not proving the bext parent (to some people), it cannot be argued that his children are his priority.
- Interesting similarity for different reasons
- Their past together which ties them even today, their love, their hatred, their mistakes, everything
My Analysis: High Possibility (various symbolisms used in the past), Moderate Feasibility (wife swap would have been easier if wedding location was the same) Chances of Success: Higher (there are similarities, but what makes this higher is the fact that there was a past here, which though hard to believe lives on. And yes revenge is not a good basis for a marriage, but if u remember it was for revenge that JW had not divorced Bani, and this revenge had converted into love, so history gives rise to hope, and revenge makes the success fatoors higher instead of high.)
A few things to note:
- I use DDG and not Bani since even though the marriage will be of the "body and soul" Bani, the "mind" is DDG I have tried to give every character the benefit of doubt. I have tried to use factors that make a real (not reel) marriage successful (looks/ onscreen sizzling chemistry are not that important in a "REAL" marriage) I am using points that are needed for a real marriage, since a marriage is a marriage reel or real. Plus if we love J/B/AD so much, lets assume their marriage is real. An underline with Italics indicates something i find very important and use it for my argument. When I say real...I am not counting Pia and ONS. I just mean a situation where u are in a place where ur ex is back...and someone else helped u in ur rough time. who to choose.
- Who was wrong and in what way is not the basis of my arguments. I went for apples to apples comparison... what is bad in both sides and what is good.
