Part 20

JB Wedding

The wedding day finally arrived, and the both of them was getting ready in their own houses.. 😊

Maasi went down the stiars into the hall, expecting Jai to still be in his room getting ready..

Maasi (screaming towards Jai's room upstairs): Jai, jaldi se tayar ho jaya.. Bani ke ghar sab intezar karte honge..

Jai: Maasi, me to tayar hoon..! 😳

Maasi screamed a bit, shocked to hear the reply from the backside! 😆😆 She turned around to see Jai standing there, dressed in a red and white kurta..

Maasi: Aaj bahut jaldi tayar ho gaya? 😉

Jai blushed and looked down.. 😳

Jai: Chaliye na Maasi..

Maasi: Itna utawla kyon ho raha hai? Pehle Jigyasa aur Anjali ki wait to karlo.. 😆

Jai: Who to aap keh rahin thi, issliye.. 😕

Maasi just laughed looking at the confused Jai.. 😆😆

They had decided for a traditional wedding as both the parents (Maasi and Bani's mum) had wanted it.. 😊 [Help! I don't know perfectly how a traditional wedding happens, so forgive any mistakes.. ] And JB just wanted the marriage to happen quick.. 😆 No matter how! So, Jai sat on the horse, and the bharat was ready to go to the bride's house..

Once they arrived there, the saw the entire house lighten up and filled with flowers! It looked beautiful.. 😳😃

They got in and saw the mandap in the middle of the room, right under a big chandelier hanging from the roof.. Other then that the hall was quite empty, looking at things and not people, except for some chairs.. Jai was led to one of the chairs by Henna..

Henna (noticing Jai was looking up the stairs constantly): Don't worry.. She's not running away anywhere.. A jayegi.. 😉

Jai blushed again..😳

Henna: Aww.. You blush too? So sweet! 😳😆

Jai: Henna, leave it.. Main pehle se hi itna nervous feel kar raha hoon..

Henna: I don't think it's the right time to back out Jai.. 😉😆

Jai: Hennnnnna! I'm not backing out.. I'm just nervous..

Henna: Why are you getting nervous now? At home you seemed more then ready to get here.. 😉

Jai: 😲 How did you know?

Henna pointed towards Maasi..

Jai: You women! I feel like every step of mine is being watched.. Now you and Maasi, and the other day Bani and Veer.. 😆

Veer came from behind..

Veer: I hope you're not mistaking me to be a girl Jai! .. Sir.. 😆

Henna: No need for the sir now Veer.. He's under your command today.. After all it's your sister he's marrying, he won't even let a scratch come on you.. 😉

Jai: Is it so hard to calm down a nervous man? You're stressing me even more..

Veer: You're the nervous.. Well, I shouldn't be saying this, but you have every right to be nervous.. I've lived with Bani since we were babies.. She's a very moody person, and very stubborn.. You better watch out! 😉

Henna and Veer started laughing and Jai buried his head in his hands.. [Poor guy.. 😆 Hehe..]

Henna: Oh.. There comes Bani..

Jai lifted his head immediately and stared towards the stairs.. But no sign of Bani there.. He knew he'd been fooled by Henna.. Not for the first and definitely not for the last time.. 😉

Henna: Not yet Jai.. 😉 I'll go and get her immediately though!

Henna ran up the stairs and into Bani's room..

Henna: Bani.. You're looking gorgeous.. Your dulha is getting very impatient down there.. Chalo, jaldi chalo.. 😃

Bani: Let him wait.. Dulhan to abhi waqt le kar hi ayegi! 😉

Henna (under her breath): Veer theek hi keh raha tha.. Moody..

Bani: Kya kaha?

Henna: Kuch bhi nahin! 😆😆 Lekin chalo Bani.. Pandit ji bhi kitne same se 'kaniya ko bhulaiye.. Shub murat nikla ja raha hai' keh rahe he..

Bani: Chalo..

Henna: Wah! You're both so much alike.. Both are just as impatient to get married.. 😉😆

Henna led Bani downstairs to the mandap where Jai was already seated.. He turned around to see his lovely bride.. 😳 And once she sat down beside him he quickly said 'you're looking beautiful..' 😳

The pandit started the hymns, and Jai and Bani took the 7 sacred rounds around the holy fire holding each others hands. Then Jai applied sindoor on Bani's forehead, and mangalsutra around her neck. 😃

On the way to the car outside, Bani cried like a traditional bride.. [Akhir wedding traditional hai, so everything about it has to be very traditional.. 😆 jk..]

Raj: Bani beta.. 😆 You're not going that far you know.. God isn't that great I know, lekin kya kare?

Bani smiled through her tears.. 😊😭

Raj: Ab yeh rhona band karo, and remember if he ever troubles you, you have us..

Jai: There won't be an opportunity for that..

Raj: I know.. You know I could easily beat you if you did.. 😆

Jai led Bani to the car after she cried her heart out on her mother's shoulder and gave a hug to Veer, Jai and Henna.. 😳

Walia Mansion

Maasi made sure all the rituals were followed when the new dulhan entered the house.. She didn't want her to feel unwelcome at all, especially after the fact that Jigyasa had went straight up to her room once they'd reached home.. Anjali, Jigyasa's daughter stayed downstairs though.. She had always considered herself to be more close to her uncle Jai then her mother anyways.. 😛

Bani walked inside and left red footprints a part of the way into the hall..

Anjali (pulling Maasi's sari): Yeh kya hota hai Maasi?

Bani turned around and went down on her knees in front of Anjali.. She explained the meaning behind the ritual [Sorry, don't know why myself actually..🤔] and gave her a hug..

Anjali (to Jai): I like the new aunty.. 😊

Both Jai and Bani smiled..

Maasi led Bani to Jai's bedroom, now theirs room.. She looked at Bani one last time before closing the door behind her.. 😃

Jai walked into the room and saw Bani sitting on the bed with her dupatta covering her face.. She looked so beautiful, and she was only his. For now and for the rest of their lives. Just the thought made Jai smile. 😃

He went towards her, and calmly sat down on the bed. He raised the dupatta and looked at Bani, her eyes down..

Jai: Bani.. I can't tell you how happy I feel today! 😃 We're finally married.. I just wanted to let you know that my whole life is now yours.. So, today I promise that no misunderstanding will ever erupt between the 2 of us! I want to give you everything you'd ever wanted, and not be the cause for any of your tears again..

Bani: I already have everything I could want.. 😛

Suddenly the windows opened and the white curtains flowed in the wind..

Bani: I'll just be back..

She went to close the windows and Jai followed her with his eyes.. She still had problems walking properly with the sari.. 😆

He went to her, and helped her close the window.. Then he turned her around and held her face in his palms. They looked in each others eyes, and Jai slowly bent down to kiss her.. He placed a kiss on each of her cheeks and then on her forehead. Bani could feel herself shivering from bottom to top, just by his touch. 😳 He then went on to her lips. Just then the wind opened the windows again, but none of them cared. Jai slowly caressed Bani's arm, making her even shakier. She felt the grip around Jai's arm tighten, as if she was scared to loose him again.. The candles in the room went off cause of the wind.. And at the same time Bani's sari blew around Jai. It covered the both of them as if sealing them from the world around. 😳 They stood there for quite a long time in the half darkness.. They stood so close as if they were melted into one human being.. None said a word; they never needed words to say what they felt. It had always been a deep connection between the 2, making them even more certain that they were made for each other.. 😃

Jai went around to her back, with his hand slowly touching Bani's stomach. He placed her long black hair on one of her shoulder, and kissed her on her bare skin on the neck. He went face to face with her again, and carried her to their bed. Laying the petite figure down he went to close the window – once again.. And then he went to his wife.. The lights slowly fading away..
