the site from the upper deck of the cruise liner was brilliant ..adding to the picturesque site was the complementing weather which was brite n sunny with just a little chilly wind blowing which played its own games with bani's tresses ..which in turn played their own games with jai's already weak heart ...bani was busy admiring the beauty of the the ocean beyond as well as spotting excitedly all the various landmarks/attractions of crete/lassithi island which she had read abt ..her hand had found its way over jai's and everytime she spotted some landmark she wud squeeze ever so tightly ..and say 'jai look this is the ....' but nothin wud grab jai's attention for it was all centred at bani...none of the attractions seemed attractive in front of her ...he was truly spell bound by her to say the least ..as the shadows lengthened ..it became a liitle more chilly ...and bani started rubbing her shoulders with her hands ..even her full sleeve kurta was no gud ..stupid of her not ot carry a sweater with herself when she came for this cruise .her thought process broken by the warm feel of jai's arms that took her in an embrace from behind
jai : now does this make u feel warm n better ...
as he tightened his embrace..bani felt her body stiffen a little ..she had never ever been in a guys embrace before ..rite as far as she n jai were concerned it was all abt short hugs n and occassionally when she had slept clutching his shirt ..and placing her head on his chest ..but this was totally different ...after the initial stiffening she found herself realxing in his embrace it felt so warm n nice ...and as the sun set infront of her eyes bani didnt no what made her feel dazed was it the mesmerising site of the sun setting before her eyes or was it the warmth of jai's embrace.... the magic of being in his arms ..she didnt no ...as for jai he didnt what was more breathtaking the sunset or bani being in his embrace with the beautiful sunset and slightly chilly breeze providing the perfect backdrop.....wish time cud stop still forever ..he thought .....

Jai n bani sat down to have their supper at the cruise dining area ...again the food not really as per bani's taste but ne ways she had to grab a bite...she had only had a little when she felt her stomach cramping ..and before she cud realise she suffered a series of huge cramps and passed out rite in front of jai's eyes ..all jai cud do was try n comprehend what just happened ...it was so quick for him ......to react to ....

jai saw bani's sleeping figure on the bed ...the last few hours had been quite harrowing for him ..seeing bani pass out rite before his eyes had scared him ..but the cruise liner medical staff had been a gud help n once they were back here to their villa ..jai had called a doctor ..who had just left giving bani her set of injections .....and telling jai abt the reason behind those serious cramps which cud have been fatal as well ..the whole revelation had been quite startling for jai ..bani had not eaten properly for the last 2/3 days ..lack of food.due to skipped meals had caused all of this ....he had no idea ..he had been very busy 2 days before they were leaving for their honeymoon ...so much so that he had come home very late at nite on both the days..bani had asked him for dinner ..and he remebered having said to her that he had a working dinner ...so that means she never had dinner both those days ...he felt like kicking himself for his failure to take proper care of her ..ofcourse he knew she wud not eat dinner if he wasnt there especially when he had not informed her abt his workin dinner ...his stupidity cud have proved fatal ....how cud he do this ...he wud have lost her ...the very thought led to sweat droplets covering his forehead ..his train of thoughts halted when he heard her feeble voice callin his name .........

Bani tried to get up but she felt a bit of pain in her stomach ..
jai: dont get up ..is yr tummy still hurting....???
bani nodded in the affirmative and said: jai i am feeling uncomfortable in this salwar kameez ...i want to change ..
jai:tell me where is yr nite dress kept in the bag or the cupboard ill get it ..
bani pointed towards the cupboard..jai went and opened the cupboard he found the nite dress kept rite in front ...it was soft material strappy thing not the type bani wears ..bani is known for her pjs n t's ..guess this nite dress is a result of that forced shopping ..bani in this clothing ..quite interesting he thought as he made his way towards n handed it to her ...
bani made her way to the washroom with jai's help n support as she cudn't stand on her own much ...while she changed jai kept cheking on her from the outside ...as she came out crossing her arms in font of her chest so that she cud cover her bare shoulders with her palms..she felt uncomfortable in that strappy sort of flimsy nite dress ........... jai was lost for words as he saw her..how did she manage to look so beutiful n for the first time sensuous while she was so sick ...the nite dress did bring out the hidden sensuality in her ..he was amused as well at her trying to cover herself she was really not use to such clothing ...his thoughts broken by bani's 'ouch' as her hands made their way to her stomach ....
jai quickly closed the gap and then he lifted her off the ground and made his way to the bed and then ever so gently put her down on the bed ..
jai: there u go ..n now relax ill get u something to eat first...as bani kept looking into his eyes .....she had looked into those eyes a 1000 times before but this time she found as if there was a message for her in those eyes which she was not getting ..as jai started to go to get somethin to eat bani called out to him ...
bani: jai i am sorry..............
those words were trying to bring out the feelings and words jai had pushed behind purposely so that he wud'nt bother the sick bani ..rather he wud speak to her when she was better ..but now that she had raised the topic ...it was as if all that he had so successfully suppressed was going to come out ....but he stopped himself
bani once again : jai i am sorry ..i spoiled yr holiday ....jai was stunned at the last bit of her statement ...at this moment had it been ne one else in front of him he wud have given them his piece of mind..i but whenever it came to bani he was readily bending his own rules ..as he walked upto her and sat beside her on the bed ...bani without givin him a second to react ..wrapped herself arnd ..tears beginning to roll down her cheeks as she repeated herself once again 'jai I am very sorry ..i ruined yr holiday'
jai gently patted her back comforting her ..and uncharacteristically placed a gentle kiss on her forehead which made bani look at him thru her moist eyes ...as jai with his thumb wiped away the tears ..and said 'U no what bani u've got it wrong its not my holiday its our holiday ...n really the idea is to spend time with u where ever it may be ' Those were few words accompanied with a thousand words that his eyes spoke ....as bani kept looking into those eyes her mind was working full speed to analyse the meaning of his spoken and unspoken words....................................... Sorry for the mistakes havent read it again ...n for ne bloopers....
