Hey,

I tried to make this fanfic a little different but I am not too sure how that is being executed into my writing. Before the next part, I just want to clear a few things.

1) Jai Walia is a industrialist who has agreed to shoot a commercial-- and the producer is Bani.

2) There is no interview, as Bani had seen him in an interview and knew that he knew how to charm people...

3) The other characters will be introduced as the story continues as almost all of them will play a vital part in the story.

Anyways, without further ado, here is the next part, hope you guys like it.

Part 2:

Bani knew he was going to be here, she had seen his pictures in many newspapers, and watched his interviews but nothing was like seeing him face to face. She stared right at him, almost absorbing him, figuring out how the advertisement would work. She was always thinking about work, she had made sure to herself that she would never mix business and pleasure. Even though Jai Walia was a man worth staring at, she was not going to get out of control in front of anyone.

She turned around and called for Rano, who came quickly. Then she focused her entire attention on the man staring at her. "Hi Mr. Walia, nice to meet you. My name is Bani Dixit I am going to be your producer, I am glad you decided to agree and work with us. I promise you that you will never face any kind of problems."

There was something about Bani that pierced Jai, maybe it was her bright smile, or maybe it was her clouded eyes that intrigued him. There was a sense of innocence on her face but at the same time it seemed like she was protecting something making her look almost vulnerable. "It's my pleasure Ms. Dixit. Would you like to know why I agreed to work with you?"

"Because of your Maasi? I am sorry I had to get you to work in that manner. It was never my intention." Bani was happy that Mr. Walia had agreed to work with her, but she was still annoyed that it had come down to this.

"No, if it was only Maasi forcing me, I would have never agreed. After Maasi constantly started telling me to work with you, I decided to do some research because I never work without knowing who it is. I came across some of your previous advertisements, and they were brilliant. There was every genre in each of the advertisements. In a matter of 2 minutes, everything was there, everyone who watched it would be attracted to it, for many different reasons too."

Bani was shocked, she had never had anyone just summarize her entire concept of making commercials in a matter of seconds. She was pleasantly surprised, "Thank you. Well, I am glad you have taken away the guilt that I felt about almost forcing you into this job."

"Don't worry, no one ever forces me into anything. So, when do we start working?" Jai was interested in this woman, more then he had suspected.

"Well, according to the schedule, we have 5 more minutes till 5 and so I guess we will start then. We are just going to be taking some shots right now but they are probably for drafting purposes. After that has been taken, we will probably need to do this at least 3-4 more times."

"Are you always following a schedule?" Jai always followed his schedule as well but just last week, his Maasi had taken away his cell phone and told him to take a few weeks off of work. Now he felt totally lost, his work was his life and since he was free for a few weeks now, he had decided to take up this job.

"Well, in show business you have to have a schedule unless you want to be here shooting a 2 minute advertisement for 24 hrs… I can work with either."

"You are also a workaholic, aren't you? Don't you ever take a break?" For some reason, Jai just wanted her to take a risk. He had no idea why he was so affected by her life…

"Mr. Walia, I am not here to make friends and I don't think you are either, so why don't we get to work and actually do something both of us are interested in." Bani was surprised by Jai Walia's randomness especially since she had read that he was strict.

"Are you afraid of making friends, Ms. Dixit?" Jai saw the pain flash in her eyes and wondered what caused it. She turned around abruptly, finding things to do to keep her busy.

"There is nothing like that, we are just on a tight schedule." Damn it, he was making her jittery. She couldn't remember the last time someone had that affect on her by just looking at her. He was making her go out of control, that couldn't happen because she was supposed to remain cool and controlled at all times.

"Allright, what's on the schedule to do now?" Jai let it go for now, he would become her friend for sure and understand why she was so afraid.

"Well, here is a copy of the contract and if you have any questions then let me know and we can work it out."

"You are the producer, right?" Jai wondered.

"Yes, what does that have to do with anything?" Bani wondered.

"Well, most producers don't handle things like contracts." Jai saw a smile flash her face. The smile looked sweet on the surface but he detected there was ice underneath it. Not only was he attracted to her now, she intrigued him, made him wonder what she was up to.

"Well, I am not most producers." Bani put her coffee down and made some notes on her pad and then called for them to get the set open. It seemed like there was a problem and it would take about an hour to solve.

"I guess it's lunch time then."

"I am sorry Mr. Walia for this delay. You can go enjoy lunch, there are some awesome restaurants nearby that you can go and eat at."

"Well, why don't you show me where these restaurants are." Jai tilted his head and saw how Bani tried to find an excuse.

"I am sorry, I cant do that. I have to be here on the set to solve the problem."

"Fine, since we are missing lunch, how about some dinner together?"

"Mr. Walia, I am actually very busy."

It wasn't that Jai was used to having women available anytime he wanted, it was the fact that she was trying to come up with any excuse to brush him off. "You are not wearing any rings."

"You are observant." Bani tried to find things for her hand to do, she couldn't look at him and still be able to talk.

"Then what's the problem Ms. Dixit?"

"There is no problem, you are here to work, and so am I. As I have said before, personal and professional lives are totally separate." With that said, Bani walked past him. She brushed past him, against him causing both of them to feel an unexpected jolt, a tingling.

Annoyed, Bani stormed off for some fresh air.

Intrigued, Jai watched as she walked through the doors as if searching for freedom.

How was it? I know the story is moving kind of slowly right now but hopefully it will pick up the pace after Jai is able to coax Bani into a date... 😉
