I know many of you are dying to find out about Rishab and how he's doing and I was planning on writing about him today but the bridal shower ended up taking over the whole chapter lol! It's already reached 5 1/2 pages and I really need to stop now before it gets too long.
So I promise, next chapter will def. have Rishab and Anjali.
Please excuse any errors in this chapter as I wrote it while being sick and can barely concentrate. Did proof read it and was catching up on my day time soaps at home while being on bed rest so if there are any random names in there, just ignore it lol! My mind is seriously not working today.

Chapter 111
"SURPRISE!" A crowd of familiar faces shouted, smiles etched permanently on their faces. Bani looked around and saw the room filled with helium and Mylar balloons, colored streamers, a poster size picture of her and Jai, a table filled with beautifully wrapped gifts all with her name on them and a buffet table filled with the scrumptious looking foods.
Bani's eyes filled with tears of joy. She glanced from smiling face to smiling face and was completely overcome with emotion. Khushi immediately ran to Bani's side and she immediately embraced the young girl. "I can't believe you did this for me" she finally choked out.
"And why not?" Ruchika asked. "You're getting married Bani and every bride deserves a wedding shower."
She chuckled and nodded. "Thank you. Thank you all." Bani hugged Ruchika and Anu tightly. Both woman knew, Anu especially what this shower meant to her and were determined to make it a very special memory for her.
With Khushi at her side, Bani made her way around the room briefly chatting with everyone. Soon the group feasted on the smorgasbord that Anu and Ruchika created with help from her Mausi, Daadi and Tony. When everyone was stuffed, Bani was led to a special chair where she was to open all her gifts. Under Anu's direction Khushi handed each gift to Bani. Ruchika happily played secretary recording each present and whom it was from; Rano operated the video camera while Raashi happily collected all the ribbons and bows intent on making a bouquet from them.
Bani was beyond words as she opened each and every gift. From Shilpa she received a beautiful Gel candle set with J and B engraved on the outside of the glass holders. Along with the candle set, Shilpa gift Bani a set of glass Love Coasters.
"Shilpa, they're beautiful. Thank you so much" Bani squealed as she looked at smelled the candles and looked at the glass coasters. She got up to hug Shilpa who was happy to know Bani liked the gifts.
"You're welcome" Shilpa smiled. "I wanted to stick with the love theme. I'm really glad you liked them."
"Here's your next present Bani" Khushi said excitedly, handing Bani another beautifully wrapped package.
"Thank you" Bani beamed at her little friend. Bani was having the time of her life. Many times in her life she'd had dozens of presents to open for her birthday and Christmas, but never did she have the warm feeling she had right now being surrounded by such wonderful people. A feeling of excitement washed over her as well as she continued unwrapping boxes. Inside each box so far was something she'd be sharing with Jai. The day was growing closer she realized and that thought alone was enough to keep her on cloud nine for sometime to come.

"What's Bani doing today?" Tarun asked with a small smile.
"Like you don't know" Jai grinned.
"Just checking. I wasn't sure if you knew about the shower or not and I didn't want to be the one to tell you if you didn't."
"They tried to keep it from me" Jai smiled, "but Bani was planning on going to the Youth Center today instead of the house. She wanted to make sure everything was in order before we left. So when I called my Anu to tell her she had no choice but to tell me. I convinced Bani to finish up some shopping this morning and then go over the house. I'd pick her up after I got out of here and we'd go to the Youth Center together."
"Good idea" Tarun laughed. "Why don't we head out for a drink?"
"Yaar it's too early to drink. Plus, I don't want to drink and then go see Bani. She hates the smell of alcohol."
"Oyee hoye…kya baat hai? Abhi se hi yeh haal hai toh shaadi ke baad mein kya hoga?" Tarun teased.
"Ohh yeah like you haven't done anything to change yourself for Yukti."
Tarun blushed while Jai laughed as he said "I knew it!"
As they were talking, Aditya joined them.
"What's going on guys? Jai, you're still here? I thought you wanted to leave early?" Adi asked
"I am leaving in a few minutes. Just finishing up the report and then I need to brief Ranveer about this project before I leave."
"Jai, why don't you let me finish it and as for briefing Ranveer, I can do that. I think he's also working on the same project in his office."
"Are you sure Adi?" Jai asked hopefully. "There was something I wanted to pick up before I get Bani."
"Sure, go for it" Adi grinned.
"Thanks!" Jai smiled. "Hey, Adi? I do have a question for you. You know that old house; the one down the street from us that everyone seems to think is haunted?"
"Yeah, I know the house" Adi said. "Halloween night the police caught some kids trying to break into the place. They were going to open the windows and play some haunting music so the kids walking the streets trick or treating would be scared out of their minds. Can you believe they even had a projector with them and were planning on "making" ghosts appear to be flying around?"
"You're kidding me?" Jai said.
"Nope. Good thing the police caught them. Why do you ask about that house anyway?"
Jai couldn't contain the smile that threatened to surface. "Well, I know the house isn't occupied right now and Bani wanted to see if it was available for sale for Haarsh. I checked on the computer and see that the house has never been changed out of the Ravi Patel's names. Now I know they haven't lived there for many years and I also know a family lived there for a short time about two years ago."
"Hmm, interesting" Tarun said. "Were you thinking about buying the place?"
"Not me" Jai said. "Bani and I saw it a few nights ago and she fell in love with the place and thinks it would be perfect for Haarsh."
"Jai, that place needs a lot of work" Tarun warned.
"I know" Jai said. "That's what I said to Bani but she thinks it would be good for Harsh to make that house his permanent home. The area he's living in right now isn't very safe and she doesn't really want him to live there especially because she doesn't want to have to go and visit him there. I agree with her because you know it's not safe at all for women to be in that area. Itne ghatia gunde rehte hain us area mein. I wouldn't want Anu to go there any time of the day alone either. Plus, it would be nice for Bani to have Haarsh close to us."
"You don't have much time then" Tarun said thoughtfully. "Let me ask around too and see what I can find out for you."
"Maybe with a little luck I'll have something for you by the time you get back from California. The sooner Haarsh moves out of that area, the better it would be for everyone. I wouldn't want Anu to be in that area, whether she's with Haarsh or not." Adi said as he started to write down some stuff.
"Thanks guys" Jai replied, putting all the folders on his desk away. "I hope you find out something. I'd really like to see if we can get that house."
"So what are you going to do now?" Tarun asked curiously.
"Well, I sent Bani shopping this morning and I have a few things of my own I'd like to pick up before I have to meet her."
"You'd better hurry up Jai" Tarun said.
"I will" Jai smirked. "It won't take long. I know exactly what I'm getting."
Jai waved goodbye as he headed out the door of the office. Adi started thinking about that house and thought of a place to start tracking down its owner and decided now was as good a time as any to begin.

"Thank you all so much" Bani said in complete happiness. She couldn't believe her good fortune to have such wonderful friends.
"Hold on a second Bani" Ruchika smiled. "We're not through with the gifts."
"We're not?" Bani asked, surprised.
"Ready Anu?" Ruchika asked with an impish grin.
"Tape number one" Anu answered handing Ruchika a video tape.
"If everyone would turn their attention to the television for a moment" Ruchika directed. "Several of Bani's friends couldn't be here with us today so Anu and I called them and asked them if they could make a short video of themselves so Bani could be watching it as she opened their gifts."
"Are you serious?" Bani asked wide-eyed. "This is wonderful!"
The ladies in the room were abuzz talking about the fantastic idea. "Ladies, the best part of this is there are two people in this tape that Bani has yet to meet in person. So today she'll see her friends Kali and Goddess for the first time."
Bani's faced glowed. "This is the best idea I've ever heard" she laughed. Bani waited patiently as the tape was inserted into the VCR and began playing.
"BDGirl! How are you? I really wish I could be there in person. I'm really happy that you and Cuddly are getting married. I had a feeling about the two of you!"
Bani laughed. "Goddess! It has to be Goddess!"
"I'm really happy for you! I wish you all the best in the new phase in life you're about to start. This is so exciting, you know? So tell me, have you figured out which one of your internet pals this is yet?"
"Yeah, I know" Bani smiled.
"If you guessed Goddess, you're right~ I thought about saying hi sweetie and catching you off guard but I thought that would be unfair." Goddess giggled. "Okay, open up the present. I want to see the look on your face."
Bani excitedly opened the corresponding present Khushi had handed her only to reveal his and hers black and red fine silk robes with tiny red hearts monogrammed with the names BD and Cuddles. "Goddess, they're simply gorgeous!" Bani said happily as she held the robes up for all to see.
"I hope you like them BD" Goddess said. "I know you guys go more by Bani and Jai but I also know that you'll never forget you alter egos. Take care BD and I hope we catch up soon again!."
"That was so sweet" Bani smiled brightly.
"All right then. Next video please" Ruchika requested. Anu handed her the next tape and this time Bani knew immediately who it was.
"It's Sheena" she smiled.
"Hi Bani. It's your old pal and boutique owner friend Sheena. The time is getting close my friend. Are you excited yet?" Sheena laughed. "I know you are, every time we chat online your excitement can not be contained. I'm sorry I can't be there in person, but things are absolutely crazy at the shop right now."
"I understand" Bani said talking back to the tape.
"I hope you like what I got you" she smiled.
Bani was already opening the gift Khushi handed her a moment ago. She was in awe when she saw a beautiful gift basket filled with exquisite bath and body lotions and oils, perfumed soaps, massaging oils and scented candles.
"This will be heavenly" Bani said with a huge grin.
"Bani, I figured after all the stress from getting this wedding together, starting a new life, not to mention the holidays you'll deserve to pamper yourself a little."
"Don't worry Sheena" Bani beamed. "I plan to."
"Oh and Bani? Those massaging oils are for both men and women. I'm sure Jai wouldn't mind if you shared a little with him." Sheena smiled mischievously while some of the ladies at the shower were giggling and others hooting. Bani's face turned scarlet from embarrassment. "I hope you're not blushing dear, after all you will be a married woman."
"Thank you Sheena" Bani smirked, her cheeks still ruddy.
As amusing as Bani's embarrassment was, Ruchika decided it was time for the next tape.
"Here's the next one Bani" she smiled.
"Hi sweetie! How are you?"
Bani's smile was brilliant. "I sure know who this is" she laughed. "Kali in the flesh!"
"Sorry I couldn't make it, but with the kids and all one trip back East is about all I can swing in December. I hope you're having a great time at the shower honey. You'll have to email me and tell me all about it."
"I will" Bani grinned as she opened the box from her friend. Inside the box was a beautiful pink satin and lace neglige suitable for a honeymoon in Spain. The ladies oohed and aahed at the gorgeous neglige.
"It's beautiful," Bani said smiling. "Thank you."
"Sweetie, there's another box inside but it's something I want you to open later tonight when you and CuddlyJW are alone together."
Bani pulled out another small box that was wrapped in the same paper as the larger box she'd already opened. "What's in this Kali?" She asked with a curious grin.
"I know you're dying to open it sweetie, but trust me on this one, okay?" Kali winked. She then waved at the camera and blew Bani a kiss. "Take care and Lots of Love!"
Bani waved good-bye and then placed the box inside her purse. Anu and Ruchika begged Bani to open the box now, but she held her ground and said she would open it later with Jai. Truthfully, she was a little nervous to have the contents of that box displayed in front of Khushi. She didn't know what it was, but if Kali wanted her to open it with Jai she could only imagine.

wow that was so wonderfull.loved the way in which bani recieved the love which she deserved......and also wondering what is there in that box...
Thanks! I think after everything she has gone through, she def. deserves this happiness and that too from those who love her unconditionally! You'll find out what's in the box in the next update!
