Part 10-B
Bani blinked few times to get used to the constant flowing water and also to get over the shock. Then she found his piercing gaze on her face, focused on her lips.
Her lips were not dry, in fact it was too wet, water dripping from them, Bani still felt as if they were dry as winter leaves. She licked them up and pushed Jai from the farthest corner of his control.
He bend down slowly, too slowly for her and took her lips with his own one. The kiss was soft and hot as well. Bani could feel her heart thumping like she's just ran a 100 metre race. Her hands automatically went to wrap around him, her nails were digging in his shoulders as she was trying to savour the taste of her first kiss, their first kiss.
Jai hold her closer and teased her with his tounge until she gave in and invited him by parting her lips. Jai was not fool enough to reject the tempting invitation. Bani left out a soft moan as she felt her whole body being warm as a toast and she clanged to him more tighty, this time running her fingers through his thick and now wet hair.
After what seemed an eternity, Jai let Bani's lips go and looked at her. Bani however looked downwards. She suddenly felt very self conscious. Her chiffon white kameez was already transparent, offering ample view of her body.
She shivered as she noticed Jai staring at her. Noticing her uneasiness, Jai pulled her to his arms once again. He just held her around her waist with his one hand, his other hand was busy stroking her wet hair. Bani hugged him, placing her head on his chest.
She shievered again and this time Jai reached for the showed handle stopped the heavy flow of water over them. It felt odd as both of them became used to the constant water flow by then. He grabbed her towel from the towel rod and wrapped her up with that.
"Bani go and change, I'll…I'll just come along after a few moments."
Bani didn't want to leave but in the same time, she knew she has to go. She just nodded and left. Jai closed the bathroom door behind her. After 30 seconds Bani heard the sound of the dryer. She sighed as she touched her lips. She quickly got changed into her robs and started drying her hair with the towel. Her hands stopped automatically as she heard the door's click.
She looked through the mirror to see Jai struggling with his shirt button, now dried up. His hair was a great mess. Bani needed much control to prevent herself from running a hand through those hair.
She was back to realty as she heard him say, "Get ready quickly, we will get late, nah?"
"We WILL get late or we ARE late, huh?" Bani was surprised as she told, she hadn't expected her voice to react as her brains told.
"We aren't late, it's only 6.30" replied Jai casually. He grabbed the towel from Bani's hand and started drying his own hair, making it more messy.
"It's not..," bani stopped mid way and rolled her eyes, "You tricked me, you told me it was on 6. you.."
"I don't know what you are talking about," said Jai innocently as he tried hard to control his sly grin.
Bani was angry this time, "why on earth did you do it? My dress is all wet, how can I go now?"
"Oh really? How did it got wet?" asked Jai innocently to get a punch from Bani as she blushed crimson.
Seeing her reaction Jai chuckled, "Ok, wear something else, you've got loads of dresses I guess."
"it takes me hours to decide what to wear, do you understand? Hours.." Bani stretched the last word as she opened a cupboard rather roughly and started scrambling all her clothes.
"let me help you." Said Jai to calm her down though he didn't know how could he possibly help her. He opened another cupboard pretending to help her and was shocked to see it's belongings. The cupboard was full of beautiful Sarees, and there was heaps of them, to much for a teen age girl.
"Wow, why do you have these much Sarees? I never saw you wearing one."
Bani replied without looking at him, "these are my Mom's…these were my Mom's."
Jai noticed Bani's ears becoming red and she refused to look at him. He grabbed her wrist and lifted her face by pushing her chin and softly said, "do you know it's not easy to lie, especially for someone who's as innocent as you."
Bani looked away, Jai caressed her ear which was getting warm. He touched her cheeks softly with both his hands, "don't tell me if you don't want to but there's no need to lie. And well, I'll let you go if you answer another question." He said seriously. Bani looked up. He bend his head and kissed her earlobe, "itna soft kyon ho, hu?"
Bani didn't bother to reply as she felt his lips roaming through her cheeks and collar bone. Suddenly he released her and sighed. "Bani be downstairs in 15 minutes, I think I had better change as well." He pointed at his crumpled shirt and before Bani was able to think he was gone.

Shenakunjo is the community centre only for the armed force members. It was a beautiful one, inside the cantonment area. It was not very far from the cantonment residential area. The entry gate was glistening with light and there was a long path leading to the main hall. The whole way was decorated with different beautiful flowers and glamorous lights. The place reflected the elegance and grandeur with it's spectacular dcor, settings and arrangements.
The party was a great one, full of noise of happy people. Everyone was enjoying it very much. The music arrangement was too good. All songs played were romantic and melodious, playing to the honour of the couple's long way together.
Throughout the party, Jai and Bani was avoiding each other though both of their eyes were always tracing the other one. They had a few eye locking sessions, Jai winked at her several times from distance and Bani blushed.
Bani got introduced with Puskar, Jai's best friend. He was a great flirt. Just after saying hello to her he mentioned that he's not flirting with her enough as he's afraid of Jai. Bani was amused at his remark. If this is not flirting, than what is it. Puskar kept pulling Jai's leg and stopped only when Jai threatened him to beat him.
Puskar didn't felt disheartened as he attacked Bani this time, Bani who was not used to his teasing was feeling rather uneasy. After a few moments Puskar got bored with Bani, what's the point teasing him if she doesn't hit him back.
"You are too boring," he complained.
"May be I am." Said Bani as her eyes searched for a certain someone.
"you should've seen my student, she attacks me with her mathematical instruments when I cross the limit." Said Puskar as he tried to follow Bani's gaze, eager to find out at whom she was looking.
"some student you've got, huh? What did you do?" asked Bani still looking around.
"Nothing serious, I was trying to ask her mom out." He said coolly as he figured out that it was none other but Jai who was in the centre of Bani's attention.
Bani looked at him for the first time, "what did you say? She attacked you with her mathematical instruments?"
"Right."
"She's a sweet girl, I might say, I would've attacked you with a sharp long knife." And she left him alone to talk to someone.
"Girls," muttered Puskar. "everytime a girl comes to my life, that means trouble, why do we have to have girls…" just then he noticed a gorgeous girl and a smirk appeared in his face, "Hey! What's wrong with girls?"
In a few moment, Puskar was found flirting with that girl.
