ps: I always wanted to ask u this. Why don't you use more hindi in their conversations (not shudd hindi).. you know what I mean. To make the characters more personable. Or is it ur personal preference (easy-reading for non-hindi speaking mortals like me). Please ignore this comment if it is ur preference. I don't want u to change ur elegant narrative style.

glad you made the switch from the silent to the posting reader. i enjoy the results a lot.
I don't use hindi because i am a true end product of the colonial legacy.

Thinking in english comes easier to me when i want to write.

No, no don't misunderstand: i read and write hindi very well, and i am fluent enough in punjabi to curse to kingdom come and back!
writing creatively in hindi, however, defeats me.

besides, have you ever tried to write hindi phonetically with MS Word? you'll risk blindness with all the read and green litering the page. Writing "The Reconciliation" was torturous! besides, the inter language puns which are a natural result have me rolling on the floor. try translating 'leave me' into hindi and then writing it phonetically in english. you'll understand.

As it is MS word and i are perpetually at war since i tend to use a lot of fragmented sentences in my writing. that is enough green to bug me!

it is with reluctance that i inform you that:
1. writing an ff takes time. atleast it takes me a lot of time.
2. I do have a life outside of the ff. and i quite enjoy living it.
so, thank you for being so impatient for more jb romance, but unfortunately it cannot come with the regualrity and promptness you want. and neither will it come for very long. TFS is now drawing to a close, slowly but surely.
