Sorry, but i was travelling etc. and did not have time to complete part XV. So now i am breaking it up into two and Part XV-A has now been posted.
And Sheena,
There is a very strong prdantic streak in me so this is for you:
Semicolons: used to express a complete thought; such as a lengthy aside or a digression; which is tangentially related to the rest of the sentence. And to separate items in a series when those items contain punctuation.
Ellipses: used to indicate a pause, used to indicate omitted words in a quotation, and if the eliipses comes at the end of a sentence you still need to use an ending punctuation such as a period or exclamation mark.
Spaces: only one after a period.
Exclamation Mark: only one exclamation mark is grammatically correct. More than one is actually redundant.
Hyphens: used for numbers between tweny-one and ninety-nine, used between the numbers in a fraction, used to form compound words, used to join a capital letter to a word, used to show famly retlationsgip except in cases using 'half' and 'grand.'
Happy Reading.
Love,
Armana
