I think Saahil faked his own death. He was more or less saying his goodbye to Rano just before he supposedly died. I do think Ranveer has turned into a good guy thanks to Raashi's love. The poison is probably for himself as he can't live without Raashi.

i think the poison belongs to ranveer...but I think he was planning to eat it when raashi dies. but now that he has married and will now be a father to Varun he has no intention of eating it.
