As the beautiful lyrics of his favourite song played on his car system Jai smiled. It was Monday and he still couldn't get rid of the happenings of Friday. Masi words always rang in his ears

"beta shadi karle, warna baadth meh pachtao ge" but for him it wasn't that simple. Having his status in society he needed a person with whom he can relax and jst forget himself. Whenever he looked at Bani he saw that person in her. She was young, nave to his world and full of life. He could tell she was spoilt and that was why she had such carefree attitude. He was going to have fun today as he didn't see her after that scene last Friday.

Entering the parking lot he spotted Bani coming from the opposite side. Wearing a sleeveless blouse with her famous mini skirt, a thought ran to him, his never seen her in any Indian clothes. Stopping to notice how she gobbled on something holding her purse in the other hand….coat almost reaching the ground and hair done on the top of her head. Interesting he thought, wanting to wriggle his hands in them.

Jai walked into his office to find a steaming cup of coffee on his desk: smiling so she has seen me today too. Eternity, bani inhaled deep, mmmm so nice! Looking at her computer pretending she didn't notice when the intercom went

Jai: Bani can u come in her..smiling to himself t hats what he always did.

Bani; good morning sir!

Jai: gdmrng, how was ur weekend?

Bani: good sir, aapka? She didn't mean to but it came out

Jai; looking up trying to be professional, theek hi tha, have you set up the board meeting

Bani: aa ha and have provided the addendum to the contractors, memos are sent and ur meetings for the next fortnight scheduled on your…pointing to his laptop and stopping at the way he starred back…something wrong sir?

Jai looked at those beautiful lips doing unjustice to the pencil she had in her mouth. Okay im loosing it bad. Bani im just asking about the board meeting

Bani: back to square one monster is back…..bhooth nahi ke she whispered.

Jai; yes u said something?

Bani: no sir, im sorry I didn't mean to tell you all

Jai: good than. Here …handing her the sighned reports, get this done and than

Bani waited not talking back this time:

Jai: smiling…Bani couldn't help starring back, he smiled, oh God his got teeth just like the rest of us, he smiles!: kuch nahi tum ja sakti ho

Smiling to herself she left his office. Gosh kitna acha smile kartah hai….wonder why he cannot smile everytime.

All morning, Bani was deeply involved in her work and time was lost to her. Jai was hardly in the office as he had meetings all day and than board meeting with his staff in the evening. Slumping back in his chair after a productive day he looked towards her office busy scratching her head and trying hard to put something together.

Jai looked at the time and her posture, was she doing that all day. 6pm, wonder if she actually ate something? Walking to the door as Bani was busy putting her hair clips spring together when Jai startled her.

Jai: chale??? Coat in hand leaning on the door.

As Bani suddenly looked, her hands missing the point as the spring bounced and hit Jai's face scratching his cheeks as little bit of blood oozed out.

Bani: oh ohhh looking at him almost on the vergy of screaming. Why does he startle me so much?

Jai: his hands to his cheek, pretending to have a huge cut: ohhhhhhhhhhh

Bani running towards him grabbing her tissue box. Sir oh God…Sir im so so sorry,….i was….you should have…oh im so sorry wiping his cheek vigorously leaping upwards towards him. Pulling him and seating him no her chair. Looking at the cut and just blabbing away, oh Sir im so sorry…oh God

Jai: looking at her, hands on cheeks: Bani??

Bani: lookin at him stopping from what she was doing> hmmm?

Jai: cut right nahi left cheek par hai. As he burst out laughing, looking at the shocked expression on her face

Bani; sir you are just too much, throwing the tissue box on him and pulling herself to stand up straight folding her hands and looking at him. You know theek hi hua ke aapko laga. Turning as Jai grabbed her hand and pulling her so that she looks at him. He only intended for her to look but Bani loosing balance fell on him her head hitting his head, hard.

Bani touching her head forgetting how she was and with whom and than realizing only to have Jai stare at her, trying to get up: sir woh but Jai was numb….he knew he shouldn't do this but he couldn't let go…he loved the way she was looking so close to him

Bani: sir mera haath…..sir

Jai coming out of his rivalry: Bani tum dekh kar kuch nahi karsakti

Bani; what?? Maine….maine kya kiya??

Jai: dekho thumare karan kya hogeya

Bani got so mad: im sorry sir she said tightly grabbing her bag and walking out of the office, samajta kya hai apne aap ko…..meany…dheklugi tumhe

Jai sat on her chair and smiled, gussa toh naakh par hotah hai, magar kasoor bhi mera hai…..picking the phone up on her desk…

Bani entering her apartment, mmmm feels good, flinging her shoes in the air, looking at her sisters picture: hi Di, aaj din toh poocho hi maath, bhooth ke baremeh main kya kahu, than becoming sad and looking at the pic intently: di I miss you, mujhe aapki haatho ki alu ka paratha kahana hai mujhe toh kuch bhi nahi atha hai….slumping on the couch sideways and leaning back……oh Di…..aap kiu nahi ho….

The door bell rang and Bani came out of her misery, kaun ho sakta hai, looking at the clock, 7pm, going to open the door.

At the door stood a delivery guy with a huge bouquet: miss Bani?? He questioned

Bani just shook her head: delievery for you mam handing her the flowers and getting her signature.

Bani closing the door stared at the bouquet confused, areh itne raath ko aur yeh! Putting the flowers on the counter and opening the card attached to it.

"ek beauty ke liye beautiful flowers"

Bani checked for names, but nothing: that's weird na hi mera janamdin hai aur na hi koi occasion. The flowers were beautiful though, a mixture of everything. Someone was in a good mood I guess placing it in a vase and than getting comfy on the sofa with the ice cream box and huge spoon. Turning the cartoon on – tom and jerry her favourite.

The door bell rang again some half hour later: aaarrh aab kaun ahi….7.45pm….opening the door: kaun hai is waaaaaaaaaaa …..waqt stopping at her mouth as she stared at Jai lookin tall standing at the door.

Bani; sir aap?? Yaha??? Is waqt???

Jai: smiling slightly, ha mai yaha is waqt, any problems, got company wondering in his head, does she have a boyfriend?

Bani: nahi aisi koi baath nahi, sir ….

Jai: toh kya main undar ???

Bani: oh please as Jai notiched her untucked blouse, hair all messy and what looked like drops of ice cream on her top. Smiling she looks delicious.

Jai also notiched the interior of the apartment, wow he was amazed, did she do this. It as in beautiful colours of blue, yellow, maroon u name it…..it was so warm and cozy to just look at it. And the furnitures, they were ….they were so comfy….maybe she could decorate his room…..maybe she could…..hmmm his mind working overtime

Jai: Bani did u do all this?

Bani; meh no way, I got people to do it…

Jai: yeah I know that but did u choose looking her way

Bani; yes sir, kiu nahi karna chahiye tha….making a sad face…

Jai: no it looks great. I should consider your opinion next time we are decorating our models and interior of our hotel rooms.

Bani feeling happy: chee thanks sir waise bhi main typing kar kar thak than biting her tongue……coffee??

Jai knew what she was saying and got thinking, they did need a designer and if this was what she can come up with than why not, I have to look what I can test her on…..coffee??? don't u think its more of dinner time…

Bani; dinner?? areh kya banau?? Kuch toh atah hi nahi…than looking up…..sir dhal khaoge??

Jai: dhal smiling who can think of dhal???

BanI: looking down like a school girl and not responding, mujhe nahi atah hai

Jai; kya???

Bani: mujhe nahi atah hai sir

Jai: looking at her confused, kya nahi atah

Bani letting her hand down, sir I cannot make u dinner coz mujhe khana nahi banana atah hai….i have only learned how to do dhal looking awkward.

Jai wanted to laugh, but than he notiched she was serious, looking at her: magar mujhe toh atah hai

Bani: jee

Jai: what do u have in ur pantry??

Bani: woh

Jai walking in the kitchen and opening the cupboards only to find canned food, instant packets and reheats. Looking her way, you have been living on this.

Bani: sir this apartment is yours but I live here, I would appreciate a bit of privacy. Looking mad at him

Jai felt bad, he didn't mean to upset or hurt her: I didn't mean it like that Bani, I was just, anyway, lets go out an eat

Bani: no thank u

Jai: excuse me?

Bani: no thank you walking past and leaping up to close the cupboards as Jai watched how short she was without her hills on. Standing sideways he stared at her lifting her little body up and than down and than looking at him: what??

Jai: kya tum hamesha se aisi ho? a hint of amusement in his voice…

Bani: ais kaise ….matlaab???

Jai: nothing, acha Miss Bani tell me if you don't have anything to eat at home other than these healthy foods what are you planning to have for dinner?

Bani: sir why are you here? Looking at him, she didn't like the way he was crowding her space

Jai: areh maine socha ke apne employee ka thora zayada kheyal rhaku

Bani looking at him intently not believing him

Jai: well I wanted to say I was sorry for getting on ur case today?? I shouldn't have done that?

Bani: really? Scarcastically stressing on really…..kaab se mr meany is sorry

Jai: really smiling now….

Bani looked at that smile, how could anyone even be mad but she was…well she didn't know what she felt anymore, whether it was anger towards him or the uncomfortable feeling to have him at her place….what if he started to question her background, her place was too obvious.

Jai: nice flowers indicating the one on the counter top

Bani: thanks

Jai; boyfriend? Questiong her….. Bani made a face at him

Bani: please..eyes going round and round………Jai was inwardly happy….

Jai: don't they look nice …don't you think so??

Bani: they are al right ……jis idiot ne bheja hai atleast naam toh likhna chahiye…

Jai: warna

Bani: warna kya, main kaise jaan sakti hu kisne bheja, hoga koi jisko maine….looking at Jai

Jai: jisko tumne smiling now…..walking in the living room area…..

Bani: wait a minute u sent them, didn't u?

Jai: looking at her, what do you think BanI?

Bani: rubbing her temple, sir I don't know, did u or did u not??

Jai: u need to relax

BanI: im fine, gosh this guy has to be the limit…..ek toh mere ghar par akar mujhi se questions kar raha hai….ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….im hungry

Jai: finally!!!!!!!….chale??

Bani: sir why are you being nice to me?

Jai: looking at the pictures of her family yet not expressing any emotions towards her……nice???…common Bani turning her way, im just taking care of my personal assistant.

Bani; ohhh riddles…..this man bhi na…..acha chalo…magar mujhe Hindustani khana khana hai…naki aur kuch…you wait here I will change and come….thori der lage gi

Jai: looking her up and down, change?? What for??

Bani: are you mad looking at her clothes, im such a mess look at me ….

Jai thought to himself, God woman that's what I do all the time, look at you, God knows what else I want to do but I cannot…….: okay I will wait.

Bani ne fatafat change kiya and ran downstairs to where jai was already seated and waiting in the car.

Jai looked at her as she got in

Bani: what??

Jai: thori der huh….been half an hour bani?? A tad bit mad…

Bani: hello I had to choose my clothes and than change and than freshen up….so I didn't waste anytime…aab chale mujhe bhook lagi hai

Jai: looked at her as she tied her seatbelt and sat looking ahead….Jai couldn't believe this woman…bhook sirf isko hi lagi hai……putting the car on drive…Gosh why is she like this

me first???

Rani....this was so sweet...guess what that song is my fav. too...lol...I am actually listening to it right now...

So he is fultu fallen for her...hai...he is so adorable when he is tryin to annoy her...I wish...

And seems like she is attracted too...just hasnt realized..

I should say she was quick to realize that he sent the flowers...I am looking forward to the dinner...

One question...Since Rashi works for Ranveer...should we expecting sparks there too?
