Her outfit was amazing. Jai has great taste. 😉 Would have loved to see the ring close up.

All the characters are just great. But I wonder why Jai still persued Bani knowing that Puskhar had feelings for her. Deep down did he really have his own feelings for her.

What is Adi hiding. Very curious about that.

Chapter 8

As usual Bani was getting ready to go to the office next day when Jai steps into the house and enquires
Jai: Going somewhere
Bani: Yes to the office any problem with that.
Jai: Hey didn't know you couldn't spend a day with out seeing my face and here I thought I could give you a break.
Bani: Just tell me what is it you want instead of all the drama.
Jai: got up on the wrong side of the bed I guess.
Bani: if you are just going to talk then we might as well do something sensible and starts to tell him about the schedule.
Jai: Just hold it. From today onwards you are not holding that position of executive assistant of Jai walia but the fianc of Jai Walia so get into that mode as quickly as you can.
Bani: And what are her duties if you could please define them.
Jai: you are not going to make this easy are you.
Bani: Well I had a good instructor who taught me to watch my back before I commit to something.
Jai: OK. Massi wants you to do some arrangements for the pooja that is to take place then she would like to take you to the haveli and see any other arrangements. She wanted to see about the dress for Rano your dress of course will the traditional one that is supposed to be worn by all the brides of Walia house well massi can explain that. Now I want you to see if you like to make any alternate arrangements for our room.
Bani: Just a second now. I thought I had only got to be present at the mandap not look into all the details of it.
Jai: Well I don't care if you want to give your input or not. But I have an obligation to inform you so I have come if you are not keen about all this and just want to get married in a hurry I'm all for it.
Bani: Just tell me one thing haven't I agreed to get married but do I have to do it the Jai walia way itself.
Jai: Better for you but the choice is yours.
Bani: All angry fine where do we start
Jai: that's like my girl and goes close to her and why do always go into that tigress mode of yours.
Bani: Good. As only you could evoke that kind of a response otherwise any people would vouch that I have pleasant personality.
Jai: Bani I wasn't complaining in fact I kind of like you that way and I enjoy a challenge you know it also its nice to know that you are emotionally investing in me.
Bani just kept staring at him.
Jai: now what are you coming or do you want me to carry you.
Bani: Thanks but I have two good legs and that can take me any where. And tags along with Jai.

Jai takes her through the private entrance from the garden to his room. Bani was so mesmerized by the dcor of the room. She felt as though she had entered another enchanting world.
Bani: Whose room is this?
Jai: Well stop asking stupid questions? It's my room and in another three weeks it will be our room.
That's when it finally hit Bani the luxurious kind of living Jai was used to. His room was double the size of her flat. The floor was completely wooden and the king size four poster bed was enclosed in a drape of curtains it looked like you were sleeping in a shell. She moved up close to the bed and just like that looked up and saw that the whole ceiling was done with glass mirrors and you could see your reflection.
Jai: Now don't get ideas seeing the dcor my interior designer felt that it gives a magical and also sexy look which reflects my personality.
Bani: If I'm to sleep in that bed that ceiling has to go.
Jai: Are you mad I have spent a fortune on that. More over I kind of liked it and you will get used to it one more thing if you are worried how many woman I have brought here then let me tell you are the first and you will be the last.
Bani: If everything was to happen your way then what was the point to bring me here.
Jai: I wanted to show you so if you want some additions into the room I can do that not break up already what is there.
Bani: What more you want to add here the room looks like a museum to me with so much of antiques and crystal chandelier and a water fountain in the room.
Jai: God Bani when did you become so cynical. The presence of water was decided as per Vastu.
Just then a cal comes for Jai in the mobile so he excuses himself and asks her to look around.
She observes that around the fountain there is a small door which opens to the balcony and it has a private pool and rose garden. The bathroom was so huge with a built in Jacuzzi and to its side was a walk in closet. Bani was just wondering what has she got herself into when Jai joins her
Jai: So anything you want to do.
Bani: Just one question where will I sleep.
Jai: Are we still stuck up there.
Bani: I'm not asking about the mirrors.
Jai: I believe there is enough space for both of us in this room and takes her out to his study were he wanted her to sign some papers regarding their Bank accounts.

Bani: so now what am I supposed to do just wait for your commands
Jai: Stop being childish. You haven't met my sister she just arrived this morning from London she was to arrive for the party but then her flight got delayed.
Bani: Adi uncle's wife.
Jai: Yes
Bani didn't want to go and meet her though she had never seen her it was common knowledge that Jigyasa was a tough cookie and difficult to please and all she cared was for her wealth and prestige.
Jigyasa is having her coffee with Aditya and her kids when Jai walks in with Bani.
Jai: You haven't met my fianc. This is Bani Dixit who will be Bani Jai Walia in another few days he said smiling at Bani
Jigyasa looks up and has a shocked expression. Bani realize that something is not right here and Adi is coming close to Jigyasa. But right then she explodes.
Jigyasa: Adi so finally you showed your true colors.
Seeing that their parents are going for another argument the kids had learnt to just leave them and battle it out. There was a time when they took sides but now they never interfered they just ignored them.
Adi: Jigyasa I thought I had made myself clear all those years ago.
Jigyasa: Nice way to keep remembering the woman whom you loved but I will not allow her daughter to become my brother's wife.
Jai: stop it Jigyasa all you ever do is be suspicious of Adi. It's a shame that you have been married for twenty five years and you never understood him.
Jigyasa: you stay out of this. I know you always supported Adi.
Jai: If I have supported him there should be some reason not like you that for everything you start blaming Adi. I introduce you to my fianc and all you can think about is what happened years ago. You better say sorry to Bani.
Jigyasa: sorry my foot and leaves.
Adi: I am sorry about all that.
Bani was transfixed to the spot.
Jai seeing her took her to the garden.
Jai: I should have seen that coming after all you look very much like your mother.
Bani: What was all that about. I couldn't get a cream out of it.
Jai: Have you ever wondered how Adi became your guardian.
Bani: Oh it was a known fact that Adi uncle was friends with my parents.
Jai: Well then there is more to it. It's not my story to tell and moreover I don't know all the details but I am sure Adi will explain everything.
Bani: Are you trying to imply that Adi uncle had a relationship with my mother. Then you are highly mistaken because my mum loved my father to the core that she even covered up his weakness for alcohol
Jai: No it is not that your mum and Adi were like family that much I know but the rest is for him to say. One more thing was your father really that careless about his family.
Bani: No except for his craving for alcohol he was the best father you could ask for he was always there for us till mum died and then he lost his zest for life.
Jai: Well at least you have some fond memories of your parents. I will be late to night but massi has got a busy schedule for you.
Bani felt that somewhere in all that business suit and arrogance there was heart that wanted to be loved and who also wanted to love someone freely but experience had taught him to be always on the guard never let your emotions out in the open. May be he would open up to her then they could have a meaningful marriage.
