Massi slaps Pia and says…
M- Yahaan kya kaarne aaye ho tum. Jo kuch bhi tum ne kiya kya woh kafi nahin tha. Apni behen ki zindagi tabah kar ke tumko sukun nahin mila kya?!
P- Massi main…
R- Oh shut up Pia…(Rano is by Pia by this time because she heard the commotion downstairs; as everyone else is on their toes…Rano gives Pia another slap.) Aapni safai dene aayi ho, ya phir yeh dekhne ke didi iss ghaar se chala gaya ya nahin ta ke tum aapne saman lene jasakti…yeh hi chathi ho naa tum. Bani didi iss ghaar se chalajaye aur tum iss ghaar ki malkin banjao?!
P- Sharam nahin hai tum mein. Itna kuch hojaane ke bad bhi tum aapne muh utha kar chale aayi Walia House mein kabsa kaarne.
Dadi- Aare sharam nahin hai issi liyeh toh aayi hai. Dekhne aayi hai ke saach bahar aane ke bad Bani zinda hai ya margayi hai.
P- (has had enough taunts) Mr. Walia…aap kuch kyun nahin kehe rahe hai…yeh log kya kya kehe rahe hai mujhse?
*Dadis hands were just itching to lay one slap on Pi and now she has the chance and takes it*
J- Main kya kahoon Pia jab main khud inn saab ke baatoon se sehmat hoon.
P- Aap log aaise nahin karsakte mere saath. Haq banta hai mera iss ghaar paar, Mr. Walia paar. Iss khandaan ka wairs mere coke mein hai.
J- (Jai hears this and steps up only to lay another tight slap on Pia) Haq…kaun sa haq…koi haq nahin hai tumhara…naa is ghaar paar…naa mujh paar…na tha…naa hai…naa khabi hoga…iss ka haq sirf aur sirf Bani ka hai…aur uski hi rahegi.
P- Lekin…
R- Lekin kuch nahin Pia. Tumne toh Didi ki zindagi aur shaadi thod diya aab aur kya chahi yeh tumhe. Chali jaao yahaan se.
Push- Haan Pia tum yahaan se chali jaao. Iss ghaar mein tumhari liye koi jaaga nahin hai. Aur ghalati se bhi mere ghaar maat jaana kyun ke wahan bhi tumhare liye koi jaaga nahin bache.
M- Chali jaao…abhi issi waqt…
*Massi takes Pia by the hand and pulls her to the door. Pia looks back in hops that Jai will support her and tell Massi that she will stay here in Walia House with Jai. Pia meets Jais eyes which are filled with fury, and hate and disgust. Massi literally pushes Pia out the door, and shuts the door on her face. Massi, Dadi and Rano leave because the have nothing else to say to Jai. Each glances at Jai one last time b4 leaving, their gazes throwing daggers at him.*
All the guys are left in the main hall with Jai. Sahil is in the background thinking to himself about why Pia had to open her big mouth. Ranveer and Rohit are standing there sutnned, they cannot interfere, but are having their own opinions about the situation. Aditya walks up to Jai and …here it comes…TASH!!!...Jai is shocked as is everyone else…Tarun and Pushkar wanted to slap the day lights out of Jai too but Adi rached Jai b4 they could.

Adi- Nahin Jai…kuch bhi maat kaho. Tumne yeh kaise kiya…aur woh bhi Bani ke saath. Maine toh khabi saapne bhi nahin socha tha ke tum Bani ke saath bewaffai kar sakte ho. Aare maine toh yeh socha tha ke tum khabi kisi ke saath bewaffai nahin karsekte kyun ke tumne aapne aakhon se dheka hai uska natija.
Tar- Ek baar bhi tumne Bani ke bare mein nahin socha.
J- Bani mere zindagi mein tab nahin thi. Usne mujhse divorce mangi thi. Uss raat jaab maine divorce papers paar sign kardiya tha main pure tarha se tut chukka tha. Bani mere zindagi se chalegayi aur humara baacha…mujhe laga tha ke usne humare baacha ko maar di thi. Taab Pia mere paas thi, she supported me…gave me a shoulder to cry on. Tar- Yeh tumhara excuse hai…you were sad and drunk…tum Bani se dur the toh tumne Pia ka sahara le liya tha?!
Push- Yeh safai nahin chalega…koi bhi safai nahin chalega. Aapko kya lagta hai ke aapse dur hokar bhi Bani kush thi. Aapko kya paata ke Bani ke din kaise guzre the. Saara din toh woh aapke naazron mein ghir ne ke koshish mein thi, aur phir raath ko…phir raath ko woh rote rote sojate. Uss waqt Bani ke paas bhi aap nahin the sahare deneke liye. Taab main tha Bani ke paas. Maine usse hosla diya aur sahara diya…lekin sirf ek dost ke hehsiyat se.

Adi- Magar kuch nahin…socho ke Bani ne bhi woh kiya jo tumne kiya…socho ek minute ke liye ke Pushkar Bani ke saath the, usse help kar rahe the, usse sahara deh rahe the…aur uske baad Bani ne Pushkar ke saath woh kiya jo tumne Pia ke saath kiya…
J- ADITYA!!!
T- Phir yeh socho…tumhe paata chalta hai ke tum phirse baap bannewale ho…lekin yeh baacha tumhara nahin hai…woh baacha Pushkar ka hai…
*That was too much for Jai* J- TARUN! (Jai raises his hand as if he is going to punch Tarun right in the nose; at the last minute he controls himself and slowly puts his hand down.)
Adi- Kyun Jai…ruk kuyn gaye…tumhara yeh halat hai sirf aaise baatein sochne se…hum ne sirf ek hypothetical situation tumhe baataya…aur tumse raha nahin gaya…tumse sunna nahin gaya…
Tar- Haan…aab zaara yeh socho ke Bani ki kya halat hai. Uski samne toh jeeta jagta nishani hai tumhare bewaffai ka. Uss paar kya bith rahi hogi aab.
Push- Yeh aap ka kush kismat tha jo aapko Bani jaise paatni mila…aur yeh Bani ki baad kismati thi jo usse aap jaise paati mili.
Adi- Jai…tune jo kiya…uske liye tu aab saara zindagi pachtayega. Sharam aata hai ke main tum jaise insaan ke dost the.
Tar- Aapne kushi ka galla aapne hi hatoon se hi daba diya hai tumne.
Aditya, Tarun and Pushkar leave Jai standing there. They too have nothing else to say to Jai…all is said and done. Aditya takes them up to the study to have a few drinks…God knows they could use a few shots. Only Ranveer and Rohit are left. Jigyasa left as did Sahil. Ranveer walks up to Jai…
Ran- Mamaji…bohot gaarv tha mujh me ke main Jai Walia ka paarivar ki hissa hoon, lekin aab nahin hai. Yeh saach hai ke maine Bani mami ka khabi khaddar nahin kiya, humesha unhe ghalat samja. Lekin phir Raashi ne mujhe yeh dikhayi ke assal mein Bani mami kaise hai. Bani aur Raashi bohot hi similar hai. Dono iss paarivar ke liye aur humare liye jeeti hai. Dono ke liye humare kushiyoon se bar kaar kuch bhi nahin hai. Jaab maine Raashi ko pechena tha, taab maine bhi Bani mami ko pechen liya tha. Phir maine socha ke shayad main aapke tarha hoon. Jaise aap bhi pehele Bani mami se pyaar nahin karte the, main bhi Raashi se pyaar nahin karta tha. Phir thore der baad aapko pyaar hogaya, jaaise mujhe pyaar hua hai. Lekin aaise ghalati toh main khabi nahin karsakti. Chahe Raashi mere saath ho ya nahin ho. Raashi mere dil mein bassa hai, usse dhoka nahin desakta hoon main. Khabi nahin.
With that Ranveer leaves with Rohit in toe. Rohit was surprised to hear Ranveer saying all these things but if felt good that Ranveer loves Raashi. Now Jai is standing in the hall by himself…ALONE…no one is there to see the tears that fill his eyes then fall. No one is there to see the anguish and inner turmoil that Jai is going through…no one
**Upstairs** (lets say Anu, Raashi and Rano are still there waiting to hear anything from Bani; Massi comes up after her and Dadi calm down a bit)
M- Tum saab yahaan bahar kyun khadi ho?
Ras- Woh Massi…Bani mami ne…
A- Bani mami ne aapne aapko iss kamre mein band karli hai
R- Didi hum mein se kissi ko bhi andhar nahin aane derahe hai.
M- (by the door)…Bani…beti main hoon, Massi…darwaza kholo Bani…hum saab bohot chinta kar rahe hai tumhare bari mein…Bani darwa…
Massi tries to turn the knob and sees that it is open. The girls realize that they were in such a frenzy that they banged on the closed door automatically assuming it was locked…they never checked the handle. Massi walks in and behind her anre the other girls. Massi looks for Bani but dosent see her in the guest room. She is not on the couch, or the bed or anywhere. Massi hears the faint sound of water running, and heads to the bathroom..the girls still following. What Massi sees brings her and everyone else to tears. There she is…Bani…on the floor of the shower. She is laying on her side, her face pressed on the hard cold floor of the shower; her eyes staring out into space, dazes but the hurt and anguish still very vissable. Bani is still in her red bridal dress. They look and see that she is socking wet, there is a slight remnant of sindoor that has mostly been washed away; her wrists/arms are slightly bloody and cut because scattered all around her are the pieces of her broken glass bangles; the diamond ring laying neatly the red aalta is slowly draining from her palms; then they see it…in Banis right hand she holds her mangalsutra….you can tell that it has been torn from her neck…some of the precious black beads scattered around. It is a heart wrenching scene because Bani seems lost…hurt…soul-less, heart-less and……life less…..
