Chapter 24

On the screen the conversation between Tarun, massi, and Saraswathi Devi is being displayed. Jai gets really angry and shouts at Nachiketh is this your idea of joke.
Nachi: I am really nort aware of anything. I better go and see the attended who I gave my recorder to.
Nachiketh with Puskar is totally confused and goes to see the attended when the bar manager informs they don't have anybody by the name of that person on duty here. Meanwhile Jai calls Tarun but his mobile is coming switched off. He leaves the pub in full of anger towards the car with Adi following him. Meanwhile Nachiketh comes to tell Jai this he sees Adi and Jai leaving. Sahil comes towards Nachiketh and Puskar.

Sahil: Found the attender.
Nachi: All this seems to be too much of a mystery. I don't know if Bani knows anything about this With just three days away from the wedding all this tamasha Jai bhai is not going to like it.
Puskar: Talk about not liking the way he left We will have to call a fire brigade.
Sahil: Stop it yaar be serious If Bani mami comes to know about this she is going to be really upset that our family had some hand in this and especially Tarun. Why did massi not tell anyone is a bigger surprise.
Nachi: What ever it is tomorrow is one hell of a day the video was played in a club with so many viewers if any reporters got hold of it another sensational news of Bani.
Pushkar: Well then be sure she is not going to be pleased. God save this wedding. Once she was mad for Jai keeping the truth form her now again.
Nachi: By bhais's reaction Iam sure this was news to him too. Tarun will have to give a better explanation and massi is in for a real trouble with her kids.

Meanwhile Jai barges into the mansion heading staright for massi's room when Tony informs massi has just stepped out with Tarun to see Saraswathi Devi in the hotel as something urgent has come up. Adi comes up calling out for Jai.

Jai: I am here and Iam going to see all of them now and ask what all this. I swear if this is another plan to foil my marriage with Bani. They all can see another face of Jai Walia.
Adi: hey now don't loose your cool Think before you say something. Massi is like amother. She must have tried to protect everyone.
Jai: I hope she has something better than that to say to Bani.

Just then all the girls Enter
Bani: What is that something better than that to say to Bani.
Jaitries to change the topic and asks how was their night out.
Bani: You will not belive what we were up to. I wil tell you on our ride back to my house.
Jai: Sorry Adi will drop you I have something to clear with Massi
And leaves in a hurry.
Bani is now totally perplexed by Jai's Behaviuor as he never tried to get away from her. Goes along with Adi to the car and thinks she must ask Adi about it as Jai seemed to be really angry about something.

In the car
Bani: What is wrong with Jai to night
Adi: Iam not sure what it is all about but I just want you to trust us especially Jai. We only want what is good for you and massi nor Jai will do anything tthat would come in the way of your happiness. Drops Bani and Goes to see Jai in the hotel.

Bani enters her house and the housekeeper says that there was a confidential parcel that has come in the morning. She sees a DVD with copies of her birth certificate. She thinks is this someone's idea of joke among the gang . She plans to ring the Walia mansion and Barnali picks up the phone.

Bani: Barnali aunty can I speak with Jai or Nachiketh.
Barnali: What is it? They both are not at home and everyone seems to be occupied with something. What happened.
Bani: Nothing just ask them to give mecall when they are back.
Barnali: Now Bani Iam not all that bad I can pass on a message to them incase you are worried about something.
Bani : Its nothing like that and she goes to explain.
Barnali with her wicked smile then suggests to Bani: You said there was a DVD along with it why don't you watch that also may be matters would clear up by itself.
Bani: Oh why didn't I think about it. Good night and thankyou

Meanwhile
Now in the hotel Massi and Tarun had to rush to see Saraswathi devi because Bani's Mother Tara's father (VIRENDER RAJ SINGHANIA) had come to know about Bani and was furious with Saraswathi Devi as he was never old about it

Raj: Saraswathi I had not expected this from you. Before my daughter became your daughter – in- law she was your best friend' daughter. We were like family that is why I got my daughter married to your son.
Saraswathi: I know all that. I wasn't even aware about all this till Rugmani contacted me and told me about this.

Just then massi and Tarun enters
Raj: How did my grand child reach that woman. She was the main reason my daughter didn't have a good marriage with your son.
Saraswathi: There is no use opening up old wounds. You have to remember because of Rugmani today we have our grandchild and moreover she is to get married in three days time to Jai Walia.
Raj: What My grand daughter is to get married into that family no way. I have lost my daughter and now I don't want to loose my grand daughter also because of that woman.
Saraswathi: Raj you are not being reasonable. You have to understand that Bani doesn't know anything about this and Jai had entered her life before we knew about the truth.
Raj: Saraswathi you don't understand though I had thought that mydaughter would be happy getting married to your son that wasn't what happened and you know it he never did forget his first wife Rugmani. My daughter payed the price for it. Now my grand child is getting married to the same family that was the cuase of lot of pains in her mother's life finally she had to die like an orphan.
Saraswathi: In case you have forgotten Raj I too lost my son. But now Iam happy about the grand child. Rugmani why don't you say something
Rugmani: What am I supposed to say that I was the reason that your son's second marriage didn't work out. (Actually Massi was surprised on hearing this news about her husbands second marriage and she felt guilty about the fact that she hadn't fought for her marriage. Then perhaps things would have been different. Now it was no use dweling in the past and she had resolved that come what may Bani and Jai will get married)
Saraswathi: Not that. At least you were ready to go fight with me for the wedding now what happened.

Just then Jai enters and he has heard most of their conversation and was feeling all the more angry now.
Jai: Well on that account I can clear everyone's doubts myself and Bani are getting married on the date decided and you all can work out your differences. But I just like to remind you all that your are talking about people who are not alive anymore but Bani is still there and I intend to get married to her.
Raj: Well that is understandable after all you stand to gain a lot as she is the sole heir to Saraswathi's and my family.
Rugmani: Jai is not interested in your family wealth and prestige. Incase you haven't noticed he is equally wealthy. You can't talk about my family that way after all it was that family that has taken care of Bani all these years.
Jai: God I don't care if she doesn't have a penny you can keep all the wealth but you will not get your grand daughter if I have my way. He turns to to leave when he notices Tarun
Jai: tarun I had high regard for you as my friend but you made me loose my trust in your friendship.
Tarun: you don't understand all this.
Jai: Ya with friends like you who needs enemies. And massi you taught me to be truthful in relationship but you never told me anything.
Massi: Iam sorry beta it is not like what you think.
But Jai leaves inspite of massi and Tarun calling him saying he has to tell Bani before she comes to know from somebody else.

When Jai reaches Bani's house she has seen the DVD and is in a state of shock . Jai is calling out for Bani but she is just looking at the T.V. screen with tears in her eyes.

Chapter 25

Jai sees Bani crying and feels he is not to late to make Bani understand.

Jai: Bani I am really sorry for all this mess. Please baby just listen to me. Tries to hug her and get close to her but Bani is moving away from him

Bani: Just stay away from me. I don't understand what is the problem with your family that they keep finding new things about me or is this some kind of joke.

Jai: Listen to me Bani: Perhaps you could just sit and we will discuss.

Bani: What is there to discuss I told you once Jai I don't like you hiding truth from me I thought that was the last time you would betray my trust. But you seem to take things for granted.

Jai: Wait there Bani I was not aware of all this I came to know about it just like you only tonight.

Bani: What you expect me to believe that your best friend and massi knew about all this and once they had not mentioned to you about it to you. What do you take me for a fool?

Jai: You are upset with the news and it is understandable but you have to believe me.

Bani: I'm upset god that is what you think the people who I considered as my family all my life is not true and some other people have claims on me and you knew about it and didn't feel the need to tell me about it.

Jai: Just calm down Bani and think in the video itself Tarun and massi had mentioned that the truth mustn't come out before the wedding and they had to collect details to prove that you are Tara's daughter.
Bani: Please Jai I had two loving parents and I don't want someone else now coming and claiming me where were all these people.
Jai: I'm not aware of all the details. I swear baby I will find out everything and make it right for you angel.

Bani: Well till I get to the bottom of this the wedding is off.

Jai: What Bani now don't be irrational? Listen to me we will find out the truth together. You don't want anything grand its fine with me. But you got to understand Bani you are my life and I cannot live without my angel.
Bani: God Jai how did we get into such a mess.

Jai: Well it was created by the family we will let them only clear it. I'm fed up trying to always clear the mess for them. This one time they are going to do it and you and I are going away.

Bani: Who said anything about going away?

Jai: Or have you got anything better than that. Tomorrow the press and the whole lot of people will be questioning us. To make matters worse I believe your grand parents don't approve of our match think of all the drama. Are you ready to face all that?

Bani: Jai frankly I don't know what is happening in my life after you have come it seems to me to be that I'm on one roller coaster ride. I am scared if there will be anymore secrets.

Jai: For once why don't you just come along with me and see. Are you willing to take the plunge? I'm ready to go to any end for you. I thought you also felt the same way.

Bani: Fine but we are not telling any one.

Jai: O.K. don't worry. They pack for few days and leave.

That night onwards everyone is searching for Bani and Jai and they cannot be located. Press is having a wonderful time with lots of news regarding Bani's birth. Everyone blames massi for keeping the secret. Saraswathi Devi and Raj says that it was because of her they have lost their grandchild and she must have helped in eloping. Meanwhile massi said that Jai would come back with Bani and to give them time to get used to the idea.

Jai and Bani turned up on the day of the reception morning. Everyone was so happy but shocked to see Bani as now she had manglsutra and sindoor on the fore head
