i'll post tomorrow. i can't just get near my computer somehtin or the other will come up. and to top it all my typing is very slow 😳

Bani stood at the door thoughtfully and rang the calling bell.
Pia opened the door.
'di……' she cried and hugged her. Pushkar looked at them and Bani threw him a feeble smile.
Pia was quiet during break fast. Bani was upset at the way she treated Pushkar.

'Pushkar.. thum hara family nazar nahin aarahi…' Bani asked looking around
'Who .. sab shadi peg aye hue hein…'
'thum log nahin gaye…'
Pushkar threw his wife a mean look.

'I didn't want to go Di…..' pIa said.

'Lekin Pia… thum hein tho….'
'Bas karo di… meine aap ko muje support karne keliye bulaya tha.. na ki.. pushkar ko.. she screamed.

'What the hell Pia? Pushkar shouted.
'guys please….' Bani was getting restless. Mein kaise…..

Bani helped Pia clearing breakfast table. Pia looked irritated all the time. She snapped at Pushkar who came to help and Bani pleaded silently.

Bani found Pia staring at her with a twinkle in her eyes.
'Kya hua Pia?'
'Di .. aap tho bilkul Wal;ia bahu dikh rahe ho…'
BAni ignored the jealousy.

'thum batao Pia yeh kya problems hein thum hare beech mein..'
'di.. mein kya bataoo aap ko pushkar aur mein ek doosre keliye bani hi nahin…. Meine bahoth galati ki Di…. Aap ko bhi meine pasaya….. lekin abh aap ko dekh kar mein soch rahihoon ki…..' she stopped and looked at BAni.
'Yeh kya bakwas kahrahi ho thum Pia….. shadi koi bachon ki khel nahin hein Pia thum jaisa chaho jod sakthe ho yua thod sakthe ho…..' she said
'yeh sab kehna aasan hein di…. Aap tho aish aur aaram ki zindagi jeerahe ho… aap nahin samje nge…..'
BAni felt disgusted. Yeh sach much mein meri bahen hi hein ? She thought sadly.
Aap ko dekho di.. Nyi sari naye necklace… jho bhi aap ko chahiye aap kareed sakthe hein.. muje tho har bar apni hatheli…..'
'bas.. bahoth hogya thum hari bakwas….' Bani dragged her to the room and shut the door.


Jai was home before 8 pm. Maasi brought him tea.
'Bani….'
'abhi thak nahin ayaa beta… phone kiya tha.. kah rahi thi late hojayegi…'
He nodded.
Masi left him to do her work.

Jai spent his time watching TV. He made himself comfortable on her day bed.
He felt her presence. Keeping her cushions as pillows on his back he stretched back and started surfing the channels.
Time flew by maasi called him for dinner.
He went down to have his dinner.
Jigyasa smirked
'kya bath hein? Bani babhi dikayi nahin de rahi…'
Who… yahan nahin hein jigyasa uski behan ki ghar gayi hein… '
'kis ko pata who udar hi gayi hein…rath bhi bahoth ho chuki hein….' She taunted.
'muje pata hein Jigyasa….. meine hi use Pia ke ghar choda hein..' Jai snapped.
Jigyasa felt like slapped.
Daadi smiled.



Pia and Pushkar dropped Bani to walia mansion. Pia's face looked pinched. She looked at the Walia mansion and felt a sense of loss. Pushkar waved at BAni wished good night.

Tony opened the door for Bani. The house was quiet.
She went upstairs to he room opened the door slowly and went in he was not on his bed. She shut the door and turned towards her bed. Jai was peacefully sleeping on the bed. She stared at him for a moment put her quilt around him and went to change her dress.

Jai was up in the morning. He stretches his arm and got out of the bed. He was surprised to find himself on her bed. He looked around the room and found her asleep cuddled in the warmth of his quilt.

She was still asleep when he returned from his shower
He pushed the curtains aside and looked at her.
Bani snapped open her eyes as the sun rays hit her eyes. She pushed the quilt and got up hurriedly.
'Good morning..' he wished her.
'morning… I am so sorry I slept late..i'll bring tea…..'
'relax Bani…. Tony will bring tea go and freshen up.'
She turned towards the bathroom.

Tea was being served by Tony when she came out of the bathroom.
'thum ..Beito Bani……' jai handed her the cup and dismissed Tony.
Bani took the tea cup and looked at him.
'So….. how was everything….? Jai asked.
'I don't know Mr.Walia…..'she said giving him a sad look.
'that bad?' he frowned.
'she will come around I guess…..' she said sipping tea.
How can he be so cool about it thought Bani… Pia had ditched him and got married to Pushkar…..kya iski man mein abhi bhi Pia keliye…..
Nahin.. she nodded.
'Kya bath hein?' he asked studying her face.

'kya mein aap se kuch pooch sakthi hoon? She asked thoughtfully.
'Han.. poocho'

'kya aap ke dil mein Pia keliye ab bhi nafrath hein ya……' she stopped in mid sentence.

'thum sach mein jan na chahthi ho?'
Her heart skipped a beat. Taking a moment she nodded. Praying, She was not sure what she was praying for… but she closed her eyes for a second.
'There isn't anything in my mind about her'. He continued studying her face.
I did like her Bani. She hurt my pride.. not my…..heart.

'jhoot..' bani blurted before realizing what she was saying.
'Sach….. I was infatuated with her face. She was with full of fun and laughter. I was a lonely man Bani. I liked her…..'he stopped and looked at her.
' er…. I am terribly sorry about that Mr.Walia. I apologize on her behalf.

'thum uske liye responsible nahin hein BAni….you have paid a big price for her mistakes..' grabbing her hand in his grip he thundered. Don't ever do that. Kisi aur ka ilzam apni sir mat lena.. I don't like it.' That was a warning.
'Ji..'
'kys ji?' he exploded.
'jho aap ne kaha…
'Good.' He said relaxing his hold.
She pulled her hand and rubbed her wrist witch had reddened.
He looked concerned. 'Did I hurt you?'
'nahin..'
'dikahao muje..' he extended his hand.
'Nahin..'
'Bani … let me see your hand…'
'no..' she placed her hand on her back.
'Bani… dikhaoo muje..' he was beside her.
'No..' she was adamant.
He grabbed her hand ignoring her protest. He inspected her hand and rubbed the area with his thump making her uncomfortable.
Finding her voice she said, 'Mr.Walia… it's nothing. You did not hurt me. My skin is little sensitive. A small pressure on the skin reddens it.' She showed him pressing her thump on her hand. He smiled and left her hand reluctantly.
She grabbed the tea cup and left the room.



Bani were leafing through a magazine in the hall she hear a crashing sound from the kitchen. She ran to the kitchen and stood still at the sight. Jigyasa was lying on the floor unconscious. She ran to her and screamed for others no one came for her aid other than Tony. They brought her to the hall and called an ambulance.

With in 15 minutes Jigyasa was admitted into the hospital. She called Jai and Aditya on the phone. They came running to the hospital.
Jai was with full of questions. Aditya looked worried but he was quite.

Maasi, daadi . Renveer and Anu came to the hospital looking worried.
'Yeh sab kaise hua..' aske maasi worried. BAni explained to them what had happened.
Jigyasa was taken to the operation theater . she had her right leg fractured.

Hours passed and the doctor came and announce that she was fine and they all can go and meet her. Jai and Aditya rushed to her side. She was sedated and she looked tired. Jai assured her everything will be alright. Jigyasa looked at every member of her family. Her eyes were fixed on BAni. She looked at her for a moment and closed her eyes.

Maasi send them all home after a while and told them she would stay with her for the night.

Jai was tired when he reached home. He went upstairs threw his jacket aside and fell on the bed.
'aap kjo kuch kane keliye nahin chahiye?' Bani asked walking towards the bed
'Nahin bookh nahin hein.' He closed his eyes.
'thum jake kuch khalo…'
'Nahin muje bhi nahin hein…' she turned towards the cupboard to get her gown.
'Bani…..'
'han….' She turned from the cupboard.

'mein jab bhi thum hein aur Jigyasa ko ek sath dekthi hoon tho thum log apas mein kuch na kuch………. '
'tho?' she frowned. Not letting him finish what he was saying.
'Don't get so defensive my dear… I just wanted to thank you.' He was tired.

'If you want to thank me. Thank you would be sufficient. Itna kuch kahne ki zaroorath nahin hein..' she was cranky.

'muje maaf kar dejiye meri maa….' He clasped his hand and looked at her.
BAni laughed inspite of her crankiness.

Jai was instantly beside her pulling her into his arms and crushing her. BAni stood stunned. He buried his face in her hair and murmured. 'Thank you…' BAni didn't know how to react. She stood still. He then pulled her away from him and stared at her. 'itna heiraan hone ki zaroorath nahin hein….' He bent his head and brushed her lips with his. BAni caught his sleeve before she fell on her knee.
He chuckled and steadied her leaving her in a daze.
