Aditee...part 48 was pure poetry...I mean the parts about Diwali celebration...

U have a knack which only some of the best writers have...that of observing the little things of life which are so commonplace that they hit the blind spot of most people...and to be able to describe them simplest and fewest of words... Amazing...!!!

I thnk this is the first part which i have to applaud purely for the literary pleasure it gave me....There was hardly any J-B in it, no romance...yet..it was magical, and memorable!!! There was such a consummate ease in the use of words...nothing contrived, nothing artificial...each phrase literally melting into the other...!!! I hope one day u will write a true work of fiction...I am sure it would be a treat to read!!!

48 is one awesome teaser....
And the atomsphere of Diwali....you've captured it so perfectly...have always maintained that the most awesome part of your writing is the way you convey so much, set the scene so well with such few words.
And the paralell between Bani's excitement and the celebration of diwali, it's lke she's suspended her ambivalence for the moment, just as one susupends one's worry for the duration of diwali....

Just one request. You are writing the FF from Bani's POV. Would be nice to see what Mr. Walia is thinking today as he is about to get married. Is he just infatuated with her as she is different from other women he meets in his life or is he truely in love with her. Just wondering......
