ok heres chapter 18! leap has BEGUN!! MUHAHAHAH!!!

chapter 18

It had been two years since that day when jai and bani had reunited. The years had gone by in a jiffy, since the couple were clouded in pure happiness. Their family was a happy and contented one, and jai and bani couldn't thank their stars enough.

"rhea, come here!" said bani, running after her eight year old daughter.

"no mommy I wont go!!" cried rhea, as she ran from her mom.

"oof!" a deep male voice cried as rhea bumped into something rather solid. "rhea, my love, why are you running from your mother ?!" the strong figure lifted the eight year old easily, and rhea seemed to prefer being in his arms more than any other place in the world.

"daddy daddy I don't WANT to!!" she cried, letting tears flow freely into her father's collar. The collar of a rather expensive Armani suit, as it turned out, but he couldn't care less as he consoled his weeping precious daughter.

"bani, why are you making my darling cry?!" said Jai as he looked upon his wife, holding his daughter protectively.

"she wont go for her piano lesson!" cried bani in anguish, appalled at her child's behaviour. "jai, I tell you, you've spoiled her rotten. She never used to behave this way before you began to give in to her every whim and fancy!"

"and why not?!"said jai in a loving voice, as he lifted his daughters' scrunched up face to meet his eyes. "she is after all my lovely little girl, and I have all the rights in the world to spoil her as I wish.!"

At this rhea's face broke into a watery smile, and she put her arms around her father's neck.

"so, my darling, why don't you want to go for your piano lesson?" he asked, dotingly.

"the teacher's mean! She shouts at me daddy. I don't like her!" said rhea, her voice muffled.

"well well, bani, look here! See, she has a perfectly valid reason for not going for her class! We shall get you a new teacher my love, will you go for lesson then?" asked jai, looking at bani defiantly.

"jai, do you know WHY the teachers mean to your darling daughter? She NEVER does her theory homework! Of COURSE the teacher shouts at her!" said bani, but jai was deaf to her justification as he looked upon his smiling daughter's radiant face.

so sweet! I want a daddy just like Jai.

quite honestly, me tooXDD coz i find it SO MUCH easier to write about sadness! it somehow lightens MY load in the day. and i think i can write sad stuff better then happy stuff.(:
