After almost half an hour the guys returned and Bani thanked God that they were back in their suits. The girls were huddled in a group waiting for their men...lol...to get to them.
A- Thank God...Sahil...much better...woh sari...chi...
S- Itni bhi buri nahin thi woh sari...
R- Nahin...saach mein bohot buri thi.
(Jai goes up to Bani and hold out his hand to her)
B- Mere saath dance karogi Bani?
(Bani standing with her hands folded)
Av- Kya Bani, abhi toh kehe rahi thi ke tumne maaf kiya jiju ko...aab jaa...enjoy the dance.
B- Nahin..woh...
Jig- Kya "nahin...woh"...jaa...
They almost push Bani and Jai to dance. The DJ begins to play the song "Sun Zara" from the movie Lucky...

Jai and Bani both danced in silence for a while. They didn't say anything to each other. They had their trademark eye locking session. They soke through their eyes, words were not necessary for them.

J- Bani...abh bhi naraz ho mujhse? (no comment from Bani) Yeh kya...tum ne kahaa ke tumne mujhe maaf kardiya hai...woh mazak ke liyeh.
B- Uske liyeh woh maine maaf kiya aapko.
J- (confused) Toh phir aaise chup chapsi kyun ho, aab kya hua? Kissi ne tumhe kuch kiya?
B- Haan...aapne.
J- (confused galore) Maine!?! Maine kya kiya? Tumne toh abhi kahaa ke tumne mujhe uss harkat ke liyeh maaf kiya.
B- Uss harkat ke liyeh maine aapko maaf kiya...lekin yes dusri harkar ke liyeh maine aapko maaf nahin kiya.
J- Dusri harkat matlab....
B- Woh hi, aapka "Kurta Phadke" dance. So embarassing. Log kya sochenge, kya kahenge.
J- Oh woh, woh to kuch bhi nahin tha.
B- Kuch bhi nahin tha matlab...(Banis anger rising)
J- Bani gussa kyun hote ho, mazak tha...humne yeh plan banaya...baas aur kuch nahin.
B- Aapke yeh bacho jaisemazak mujhe bilkul nahin pasand. Haad hoti hai.

J- Come on Bani you have to learn how to take a joke. (his own anger bagan to surface)
B- Oh...so aab I cant take a joke.
With that note the song was over and so was that dance for Jai and Bani. Bani turned on her heel and left Jai standing on the dance floor. Jai called out to her but Bani paid him no attention. Jai ran a hand through his hair, his frustration resurfacing. He was thinking..."here we go again"
The rest of the night Bani and Jai kept their distance...not by any choice of Jai's. Bani had acted as perfect host to all the guests. Made sure that Massi and Dadi had eaten and taken all their medecines. She spent whatever time was left with the girls who were clearly engorssed in talking to their other friends about their fiancees and the impending wedding. Well after midnight the guest cleared out, Jigyasa and Rano went to bed; Anu went home with her parents; the guys went to the study for a night cap; and Bani and Aviva cleaned up a little and instructed the workers what had to be done.
It was nearly 1:30am when Bani returned to her room, tired and sleepy. She couldn't wait to get out of her clothes and jewlery and into a comfy night gown and just sleep. Putting together and engagement party in such short time was not easy. Bani took of her heels which caused her to lose a few inches. Next came her bangles. Her head was dropped down looking at her hands as she carefully took off her glass bangles. Bani didn't notice or hear Jai come into the room. Jai slowly made his way to Bani, he hugged her from behind and placed his head on shoulder right next to her head. The sudden movement made Bani jump since she had no idea that anyone was in the room with her. Her eyes darted to the mirror and she saw Jai smiling at her. She shrugged her shoulder once as a sign for Jai to move but he didn't budge. Bani returned to removing her bangles.
J- Bani...abhi bhi naraaz ho mujhse. (nothing) Please come on Bani, tum hi batao main aur kya karta. Tum toh mujhe maaf karne ki koi naam hi nahin leh rahi thi. Mujhe yeh kaarna pada. Mujhe bilkul aacha nahin lagta jaab tum mujhse naraaz ho aur mujhse baath nahin karti. Laagta hai ke mera din adhura rehegaya.
(Hearing this Bani's heart did a little flutter and she let herself lean into his just a little. Jai then began to tease Bani...he began kissing her along the curve of her neck, on her ear lobes, moving her hair that gave him access to her open back. While kissing her he said...in between kisses)
J- Im sorry Bani...aagar maine tumhe sharminda kiya toh im sorry, mujhse maaf nahin karogi...Please...
(Jai kept kissing her and made puppy dog eyes at her. Seeing this Bani could no longer stay mad. She let her whole body lean into Jai's body and put her hands over his)
B- Tik hai...maine aapko maaf kiya.
J- Thank You...(he began kissing her again)
B- Aab chodiyeh mujhe.
J- Kyun ji...hum kyun aapko chode?
B- Yeh kya...koi aajayega...(struggling ot get out of Jai's grasp)
J- Koi nahin aayega...hyumara room hai...koi kuch nahin kehesakta.
B- Please...yeh kya kaar rehe hai aap....please...(the pleasure of Jai's kisses becoming too much)
J- Aapne biwi ko pyaar kaar raha hoon...koi problem...
B- Haan, big problem...yaad nahin doctor ne kya kahaa.
(Hearing this Jai lets her go and sulks. Seeing this Bani turns around and wraps her hands around Jai's neck and sarcastically asks him...)
B- Kya hua ji...aap ka mood kyun badal gaya.
J- Kya Bani...jaab bhi main thoda sa bhi romantic hojata hoon toh tum humesha uss doctor ko kyun beech mein laati ho?
B- (giggles) Sorry...lekin aap hai ke meri baath sune ke liyeh tayaar hi nahin hai...desperate times call for desperate measures...
J- Haan haan, go ahead...hasso hasso...yahaa mera halat karaab horaha hai aur tum dil khool kaar hasso.
(this makes Bani laugh even harder)
B- Sorry...lekin woh kehete hai naa ke...(Bani lifts herself up onto her tippy toes and places a sensual kiss on Jai's lips and pulls back after what seemed like an iternity) sabar ka phaal mita hota hai.
Quickly placing a kiss on Jai's cheek Bani leaves and goes to the bathroom to change. Jai is standing there shocked. Thinking when did his sweet innocent Bani turn into sexy seductive and passionate Bani. Seeing this made Bani giggle even more.
**Next Day**
Bani woke up with a start at almost 9am...she was running late. She quickly jumped out of bed and took a shower. Worried that she was going to find a house full of people hungry she rushed down stairs. She saw that no one was up yet. Breathing a sigh of relief she began to get breakfast going in the kitchen, and was soon joined by Aviva and shortly after Jigyasa.
B- Aare wah...aaj tum kitchen mein...kya baath hai.
Jig- Nahin...kuch nahin Bani...woh neend nahin aah rahi thi toh maine socha tumhari help kardoon.
Av- Oh no...neend nahin aah rahi thi...shaadi ke liyeh itni bechaini.
Jig- Nahin Bani...woh...umm
B- Relax Jigs...main toh mazak kaar rahi thi.
Jig- Bani...tu bhi naa.
They all work on breakfast toghether. By the time that they are done almost everyone is downstairs and ready to eat, except for Jai and Sahil. They were all talking about Jai's joke when Massi said...
M- Aane doh usse...phir uska kahbar lethi hoon main.
(Jai coming down at that moment)
J- Kisski khabar Massi.
(Massi quiet and arms folded...looking mad)
J- Massi kya hua...(nothing) koi mujhe batayehga ke kya hua...(looking around the table but no one says anything)
M- Jaa...main tumse baath nahin karti.
J- Lekin kyun (**guli...u know) Massi?
M- Aaisa mazak kaarta hai koi.
J- Kaunsa mazak Massi...
M- Aapne shaadi ko lekar jo mazak kiya tumne saab ke saath...khaas kaar ke Bani ke saath.
J- Massi....woh...umm...yeh baath aapne kissne bataya?
(No one moving or saying anything when Rano tries to quitely slide out of the chair and leave)
J- Rano!!!!???
R- Woh jiju...woh....kya hai naa ke kaal raath main Aviva di se baath kaar rahi thi aur taab Massi ne sunliya...ohir unhone mujhse pooch ke baath kya hai...aur aap toh jaante hai...main kissi se jhoot nahin bol sakti. (winks)
J- Rano ki baachi...(Jai about to run after her)
M- Usso kuch maat kehena...ghalati tumhara hai...Rano ki nahin (from behind Rano sticks out her tongue)
J- Sorry Massi...maine saabh se mafi mang li hai...ap bhi mujhe maaf kaar dijiyeh...(makind a lil boys face)
M- Yeh bholi shakal nahin chalega iss baar JAI...tumne toh haad hi kardiya.
J-(thinking) "Jai"...haila..."munna' ka kya hua...omg...bohot hi bari padega yeh mazak. Pehele toh Bani ko manaao aur aab Massi ko manaao...hey bagwan...mera kya hoga...yeh ortein toh mujhe kahin ka nahin choda.
J- Massi...please...
M- Main tumhe maaf kardunghi aagar Bani ne tumhe maaf kiya.
J- Oh...phir oth koi baath nahin...Bani!!!
(Bani comes out of the kitchen with a plate of food...dont know what it is...make something up...lol...)
B- Ji..kya hai...
J- Bani...Massi se kaho naa ke tumne mujhe maaf kiya.
B- Kiss baath ke liyeh?
J- Woh...shaadi-vala mazak.
M- Haan Bani...aagar tumne Jai ko maaf kiya phir main bhi kardungi.
B- Oh...woh...lekin...maine toh.................................
(Bani pauses and sees the look on Jai's face. He is afraid that she may deny it...he was too easy to get to)
J- Bani...come on....
B- (laughs) Haan Massi maine maaf kiya.
M- Tik hai...phir maine bhi munna ko maaf kiya..
Adi- Yeh kya Massi...Pehele toh aap gusse ke maare Jai ko "Jai" se hi pukar rahe the...aab Bani ne maaf kya kaar diya woh phirse "munna" hogaya? Not done Massi...not done..
M- Aare tu chup kaar...
They all laugh and then eat breakfast. Bani noticed that Jigyasa and Aviva were trying to get her attention through out breakfast but they didn't say anything; and Rano had an evil smik on her face. Once everyone ate they sat in the living room because they had day of shopping planned; they were waiting on Anu. Anu finally came and Sahil saw her first.
S- Anu!!...(he walked over to her and hugged her and placed a kiss on her cheek causing her to blush)
T- Wah Sahil...chumma chati...woh bhi saab ke saamne?! Maana padega tumko.
S- Aare...pyaar kiya toh daarna kya...humare shaadi bhi jal hojayega...toh khulam kulla pyaar kaarne mein kya kharabi.
Adi- Wow, besharam...aab toh tu Anu ko bhi besharam kardega.
(Anu blushign like anything)
A- Bani...woh....
B- Kya...
A- Woh...(indicating her neck)
B- Kya...(putting her hand there but feeling nothing. Jai looks and then just smiles at her while the other guys begin to giggle to themselves.)
A- Ummm...(getting closer to her) woh...tum bathroom hokar aao naa...
Finding Anu acting weird Bani made her way to her room upstairs. She stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself and gasped. There it was...a big blue/black mark on her neck. It was a hicky...love bite...what ever you called it...it was there on Banis neck. Bani groaned in frustration knowing that everyone had seen it downstairs. That must have been what they tried to tell her at the breakfast table...Bani was just hoping that Massi and Dadi hadnt seen. She quickly changed into a salwar kamiz using the dupatta as a scarf to cover up the hedious thing. When she came back down she saw that Massi and Dadi had rejoined the group.
M- Aare Bani...tumne kapde kyun change kaar liya?
B- Massi woh....(Jai giggling and Bani shooting him daggers)
D- Haan...tumhari sari toh tik hi the..
B- Haan...woh...kya hai naa ke....(tongue tied Bani didn't know what to say)
Jig- Kya hai naa Massi ke aaj hume bohot sare shopping kaarne hai...
Av- Haan...woh iss mein Bani zyada comfortable feel karegi...assahi se chal phir sakegi.
A- Haan...aab chalein...
B- Haan...woh...(turning to Jai)...aapke credit card...
J- Oh haan....(pulling it out) yeh loh...have fun...
Jai gave Bani is credit card without a second thought...and yes...she intended on having tons of fun.......
...Ch. 63...Wedding plans are put in action...lots of fun, masti and laughter coming your way...just ask Guli...lol
