CHAPTER 61: **hope you guys enjoy**

Enough was enough as far as Jai was concerned. He had to take matter into his own hands and make Bani forgive him. Bani was looking particularly hot tonight in that sari, and that blouse...or lack there of it. I fhe knew Bani, and he knows pretty well, she would do anything and everything ot make him pay including making him jealous. That is where the problem was, he didn't other men touching and dancing and oggling his wife. That was only for him, and if Jai didn't rectify the situation soon, he knew it was only a matter of time before his blood got boiling and he began drinking; and that....was NEVER a good thing.
Rano came over and told them that it was time for the engagement ceremony, they had already waisted too much time. Jai escorted Massi to the stage while Tasso helped Dadi over. The two couples were already waiting there, when Jai noitced that Bani was not there. He was just about to go and look for her when he saw Aviva pulling her to the stage. Aviva wispered something into Banis ears that caused her to smile and giggle. God how he had missed her smile; for day he hadnt seen it and sadly it was his fault. With her one smile he felt the room brighten up, and his heart swell with pride and love. Jai noted that Bani stood on the opposite side of him with the girls instead of with him, the guys, Massi and Dadi. Since Aditya was older him and Jigyasa were first to exchange rings, but Sahil and Anu followed shortly after. Once the ring exchange ceremony was done a wave of cheers and congratulations went up. Everyone hugged one another in joy. As it was supposed ot be Jai that hugged Bani next, he noticed that she had significantly slipped away. He found her making her way through the guests, being the perfect host. Jai was now on a mission and he needed help.
J- k guys...i need your help.
Adi- Kya hua Jai, tum itne pareshan kyun ho?
S- Aare kuch toh samja kijiyeh...Bani bhabi ne abhi tak maaf nahin kiya hoga, hai naa?
J- Haan ...woh...
T- Koi baath nahin jiju, aap boliyeh...kya kaarna hai.
(Jai tells him his plan)
S- Bhaia, omg...kyun aap humse itne nafrat kaarte hai? Jaab bhabi yeh saad dekhenge toh hume bohot maar padenge.
J- Kyun?
Adi- Aare...tumne jo kiya, uske baad bhi hum aagar tumhare side mein honge...toh Bani toh hume maar hi dalenge.
J- Kaise dost aur bhai ho tum log. Mere shaadi shuda zindagi mein itne tension aur tum lod ho ke kuch nahin kaar rahe ho. Aur aab tum log bhi badla leh sakte ho. They are always planning against us, now we will turn the tables.
T- Jiju...main aapke saath hoon.
(Rao was passing them at that moment)
J- Rano...
R- Ji...
J- Rano I need your help.
R- Of course jiju...kya kaarna hai? (Jai tells her what she has to do) Kya jiju, itni si baath...aap chinta maath kijiyeh...i'll take care of everything.
J- Dekha...Rano toh Bani ki behen hone ke bavajuth bhi mujhe help kaar rahi hai, aur tum dono; ek mera bhai hai aur dusra mera bhia jaaisa dost...itna nahin kaar sakte mere liyeh.
R- Haila...jiju's...aapne bhai/dost ke liyeh itna nahin kaar sakte. Haye, aap logo se yeh umid nahin thi mujhe. (Rano leaves but not before winking at Jai first)
Adi- Tik hai meri maa, we will do it.
J- Good...
A few hours into the party and Bani has avoided Jai like the plague. Mostly she was with the girls but if Jai so much as took one step in her direction she would either go and mingel with the guests or go and hide with Massi and Dadi. She knew da*n well that he wouldn't discuss that whole fiasco infront of Massi and Dadi. Jai gave Rano the signal and Rano set their plan into action.
R- Ladies and gentelmen, can I have your attention please. Aap log toh jaante hai ke aaj meri do pyaari beheno ke sagai hai. Issi kushi mein, main chahungi ke mere honewale jiju's meri pyaari beheno ke liyeh koi gaana gaiyeh. So Adi jiju...aap first...
Everyone started clapping and hollering to cheer Aditya on. Aditya wasn't a person that liked to be the center of attention, as im sure you already know...lol...but it was part of the plan so he went up. Staring back at the crowd was nerve recking because all eyes were on him. He scanned the room and finally his eyes rested on the small group of girls standing off to one side. He looked at Jigyasa who had a grin on her face, the anticipation, interest and excitement could be seen in her eyes. He reassuring smile was all he needed before he chose a song to sing.

When Aditya stoped everyone clapped and cheered him for such a great song selection. All of those praises was nothing compared to the joy on Jigyasas face, and the shyness in her eyes. That alone made it worth it. Next they didn't even hav to call Sahil, he just jumped on stage and took the mic from Rano before she could announce him. Sahil began singing and everyone looked at him in disbelief, especially Anu. She was mortified at the song he chose. Sahil being Sahil, did all the dance moves to the song and when it said "JUMP" he did..he jumped in the air. Anu was mortified at that. Jigyasa got such a sweet song, while she got..well....you see...

At the end of the song people burst into laughter. Anu wanted to ground to open up and swallow her whole. She shot Sahil a wait-until-i-get- my=hands-on-you look. An evil smile played on Sahils lips whick pissed of Anu to no extent, she turned and almost stormed off when....she heard Sahils voice once again.

When the song ended Sahil was standing in front of Anu who now had a grin on her face reaching from ear to ear. Anu planted a quick kiss on his cheek and said Thankyou. Sahil had deliberately sang that song to get a rise out of her, because he knew that once she was mad, the pacifying was going to be worth it. Next up it was Tasso.

Aviva blushed to no ends and wispered a soft I Love You to Tasso and blew him a kiss. They loved each other and were not ashamed to show the world that they did. Next Rano had announced Jai but he had refused, repeatedly. Evan though Bani was mad at him she wanted to see what song he might sing for her. She had been stealing glances at him all night and not once did she catch him looking at her. She didn't like that he was ingnoring her. When Jai refused for the 4th time Bani turned and was about to walk away whe she heard Jai's voice come on over the speakers.

The song couldn't be more perfect for Bani. Once she heard the song she knew that he was up to something, he must have seen he looking at him and that is why he picked that song to sing. The smile on her face was gone in a flash and then she turned to go somewhere where Jai couldn't get to her. She knew, that he knew that she was avoiding him. She felt bad for not beign with him, especially since he hadnt even gotten a good look at her in the pink sari he picked for her. All of a sudden she heard...

Bani turned around to see that Jai ws standing front and center of the stage with Aditya, Sahil and Tasso as his back-up dancers. Not nociting where she was walking she bumped into Rano who took her by the hand and led her back to where the rest of the girls were.

The guys danced to the song while being cheered on by the audience along with Massi, and the other girls. Dadi was just beside herself with joy. For someone so filmi like she was, this was a dream come true, getting her sons to dance ot hindi music. Bani had a smile on her face that she kept on trying to hide but it didn't work. It kept creeping back onto her face. When the song finally came to an end, Bani acted like it hadnt moved her in the least and just went back to her hostess duties, while the other girls went up to their men and comended them on a job done very well.
Jig- Wah wah, aap log toh bade chupe rustam nikle.
A- Yes, I agree...itna cute sa gaana aur woh performance...so cute.
S- Hey, we are not cute, we were hip!
Av- Yeah...sure...hip...vaise Jai jiju...saab se aacha gaana toh aapka tha. One of my favorites. Aur aapka dnce toh saab se aacha tha. (trying to cheer him up)
J- Thank you...lekin jiiske liyeh maine itna kuch kiya, woh gaana woh dance, usse toh koi pharak hi nahin padta. (with that Jai went up stairs to but part 2 of their plan into action.)
R- Bechara jiju.
Jig- Haan, Bani abhi bhi gussa hai bhaia se.
A- Haan, paata nahin kaab woh guss thuk dehgi.
S- Tum log toh baas dekhte jaao.
With that the remaining guys went upstairs behind Jai. They could hear the questioning remarks coming from the girls. For them it felt good to keep the girls in the dark for once.
The party was going on, people were eating and dancing and having a good time. The Dj was putting on great music, the food was delicious. After about 30 minutes, when Bani and the girls were snacking on some snacks...lol...they saw Jai, Tasso and Aditya return but they had changed. When they went upstairs they were all in suits or slacks/shirt; but now they were in kurtas...and not very good ones at that, they looked rather cheap. The girls were shocked to see why they were dressed like that at such an important party.
B- Yeh kya hai, saabne change kyun kaar liyah.
Jig- Haan, aur woh bhi aaise kapde.
Av- Laagta hai ke daal mein kuch kaal hai, varna jiju toh aaise khabi nahin karti.
R- Aare nahin di, shayad un logo ko uss suit mein gharmi lag raha hoga...issi liyeh change kaar liyah.
A- Magar Sahil kahaa hai, shayad usse change nahin kiya hoga. See...Sahil is the best.
B- nahin mujhse toh aaisa nahin lagta. Kuch na kuch toh zaroor hoga.
Jig- Lekin...aaise kurtas kyun, inke paas toh bohot aache kurte hai.
B- Rano tu jaake pooch naa ke what is up.
R- Nahin...bilkul nahin...aagar aapko jiju se kuch poochna hai..aap khud hi pooch lijiyeh...
B- Magar....(but Rano was already gone) Kaamal hai, isse kya hogaya.
Av- Tu chnta maat kaar, hum paata lagate hai.
For the next 15 minutes or so the girls tried and failed to get some answers out of their men. It was always some excuse, Massi was calling, they would be right back, finally they gave up.
Suddenly all the lights of the room went off and you heard...
"Do it all right, Do it all right, Do it all ...Do it all right" over the speakers and the strobe lights came on...

The spot light finally came on and landed on the center of the stage where Jai was standing in the middle while Tasso and Aditya were on either side of Jai. The song came on and the guys began grooving to the song.

Bani looked on in horror as Jai grooved to the song. Everyone was laughing at them, it was such a funny song, but Bani was not amused. Then the girls part came on...
Main majnu majnu chillaungi kurta phad ke.
At that first like the spot light moved off of Jai and landed on a figure at the top of the stairs. The girls, especially Anu, looked on in horror as the person decended down the stairs...it was Sahil. He was clad in a hot pink sari, full on makeup and acessories. He lip sang to the song and he decended the stairs and moved on to the stage to dance with Jai.

As the song progressed Jai and his "dancers' made their way onto the dance floor and managed to find their girls. Bani was shotting Jai daggers...if looks could kill...she was fuming mad. For everyone else, it was a great joke...hilarious..for other people. When it was your husband making a complete a*s out of himself it was not the same. Bani turned her gaze to avoide Jais eyes and she saw that the other girls had also began grooving to the "Kurta Phad" song. All Bani could think was "could it get any worse?" and apparently it could. The last line of the song was "Kurta Phad KE' and Jai did. He was standing in front of Bani when the last line came on, he then dropped to his knees and when the song said "Kurta Phade Ke" Jai tore his kurta. And following right behind him was Aditya and Tasso. Sahil didn't have a kurta but he did manage to remove the achal that was covering his chest. And as if finally becoming self concious that peole will stare at his "chest" he quickly covered up and hid behing a laughing Anu. The group made their way to where Jai and Bani were so that they could see what was happening up front.
Jai was looking who had flames in her eyes. He slowly put up his hands to his ears and mouthed "Im sorry"
B- Yeh kya kaar rehe hai aap. Please aap utiyeh.
J- Nahin...jaab tak tum muje maaf nahin kaar dehti main nahin utunga.
B- OMG...aap aaisa kyun kaar rehe hai, please...saab log dekh raha hai. Please. (looking around nercously and noting that all eyes were now on her and Jai)
J- Nahin, kehedo ke tumne mujhe maaf kiya toh main abhi utjaunga.
B- Dehkiyeh hum baad mein baath karenge, please khadi hojaiyeh.(now Bani was trying to pull him up herself, but that did no good) log kya kahenge?
J- Log yeh kahenge ke "dekho the great Jai Walia aapne biwi ke liyeh aapne hi ghutno pe aagaya.
B- OMG....please...please...(Bani now red as a tomato from head to toe...no make it from hair roots to toe nails.)
J- Nahin...main ek nahin sununga. Kehedo ke tumne mujhe maaf kiya.
B- (knowing she had no chioce) Ok...kiya baba maaf kiya.
J- Kya saach...tumne mujhe maaf kiya.
B- haan baba kiya,aab please khadi hojayeh...
With that Jai shot up, hugged Bani and then high-fived the other guys and said "Mission Manaoo Bani Accomplished". They were laughing and and what not.
Av- Kya, Mission...yeh saab planed tha.
R- Aur nahin toh kya, saab kuch aaise thode hojata.
B- Woh saab baad mein, abhi please aap saab change karlijiyeh...saab log ghur raha hai.
A- For Gods sake Sahil, get out of that hot pink sari...yeh color tumpe bilkul aacha nahin lagta...
T- Haye...kyun Anu..i think he looks hot...in hot pink. (winks)
Av- Toh phir tum hi usse shaadi kaarlo naa, kyun?
T- Aagar main Sahil se shaadi karlunga phir tumhara kya hoga?
R- Jiju aap fikar maat kijiyeh, hum hai naa. Main aur Bani didi milkar inn dono ke liyeh aachi si jeevan saathi dhund lenge. Woh bhi, jisse ladkiyoon ki kapde pehene ki koi shok nahin hai.
S- Rano ki baachi.(They were step up to her and she fled from there)
B- Please, aab go...jaao.
J- Ok....chalo guys...lets celebrate.
They guys leave all the while singing and dancing to that "kurta" song while climbing the stairs. They were enjoying themselves while the girls just giggled and turned away from the. Bani looked up once and say Jai mouth "Thank You" and "I Love You" as he danced. Bani smiled and turned away whispering....under her breath.
B- Pagal kahi ka
...Ch 62...the morning after Kurta song...wedding preperations begin....do do shadiyaan hai....lol...
