CHAP 49

Next morning was Saturady 14th Feb. Valentines day..Jai had sent Bani a Sms wishing her …Pia 2 had received an sms from Pushkar and Pushkar n Pia had a plan 4 tonight.

Pushkar ha booked candlelight dinner for them at a very posh restaurant but Jai had no plans well he hadn't told them to Bani anyways,,,
Bani thought that maybe Jai had plans with Roshni..she knew Roshni wouldn't get off Jai's back ..

Bani did her prayers, laundry and then did some studying
Pia came from her room –"Bani..its Saturday. Stop studying..

Bani-"well I had nothing else to do…so I thot..

Pia-"normal pple would prefer sitting aimless looking at the roof then to study on a Saturday."

Bani-"well….i.."

Pia-"did KT call u?

Bani-"no not et..

Pia-"u call her then..

Bani calls kt.

Kt-"heloo...

Bani-"hi Bani here.."

Kt-"sup..
Bani-"what have u decided u moving in ?

Kt-"actually ya..i spoke to Aunty and Uncle and they have agreed but they really dnt want me to leave ..they were all emotional and stuff I told them that the apartment was close to college and that studying would be easy..

Bani-"ohh ok: so when u moving out?

Kt-"I was thinking about tomorrow ..u know coz Monday classes will start
Bani-"Ya sure..but u have to buy a bed for urself..Because we have 2 only.

Kt-"sure so whats ur address,,

Bani gave kt the address they spoke sum more and hung up..

Pia-"kya bola?

Bani-"she will be moving in 2moro..so I said yes..its ok na..

Pia-"sure .she wont have probs on college days..

It was 1pm when they had lunch and they watched a movie: Hera Peri"

At 4 pm the movie finished half way through the movie Bani had fallen asleep..

At 5 .30 she woke up startled

She had a dream of Jai getting married taking the phera's ..then jai lifeted the dupata and …it was Roshni..

Pia was ironing her dress for 2nite in her room

Bani couldnt find Pia –"PIA PIA...

Pia came out –"kya hua..kumkarn ki nind puri ho gayi..

Bani-"ha...hogaya...

She looked at her watch and made a sad face

Bani-"its 5.30 aur Jai…he shud have at least called once to say that

Pia-"so u call him'

Bani remembered her cell was silent ..She picked it upo from the coffee table.. she saw that there were 10 miss calls and an SMS

It was from Jai..she read

"hi beautiful. I know u must have been sleeping…actually Roshni was after me the whole day so I couldn't call u but I have booked a table for us at a restaurant so I will pick u up at 7 ..ok sweety..Love u

CHAP 50

Pia had given Bani a beautiful black dress while Pia wore a red dress..

They got ready..
Pia had made Bani nt tie her hair…Bani didn't argue because she remembered Jai liked her hair untied…

At 6.45 Pushkar had come and left with Pia..

At 7pm Bani heard a knock on the door..and she opened it.
Standing in front of him was Jai wearing black suit and inside it was a red shirt…and had got a stubble….looking like a hunk

Jai whistled when he saw Bani-"uuu lala!u look hot!!!Bani ..wow…

Bani blushed…
Jai gave her the flowers..-these are for u!!

Bani took it and put them on a vase..

Bani-"chale?/

Jai –"wait…
He leaned forward and kissed Bani gently on her lips….

Jai-'ab chalo ..

Bani blushed..
She locked the door and followed Jai to the car..

Jai opens the car door for her and closes it after her..

Jai driving..

Jai-"sorry babe who Roshni subah se sar pe behti thi ki aaj pura din mein uske saath bitaoo..she even told Masi..i had to stay…but I escaped Ranveer called and told me to lie that theer was a important meeting ..then I got her off my back..

Bani- just nodded
Jai-"I didn't even have time to shave. I must be looking like a hairy werewolf..

Bani-"no…u look fine…actually more then just fine..(What Bani wanted to say that he was a hunk a total cute, teddy bear type cute)

Jai-"thank u..so how was ur day?
Bani-"it was fine just saw as movie
Jai-"don't tell me you slept watching that movie..
Bani- i..i liked the movie par kab aakh lag gayi pata nahi chala..

Jai-"kumkaran!!

Bani ignoring his remark-"so where we going…

Jai-"you will see. I don't like it that much but it's a compromise that I have to make.."

Bani-"tell me!!"

Jai-"ok ok..kitchen corner.."
Bani-"but that's where Pia and Pushkra went.."
Jai-"I kno wit was our plan.. I didn't want Roshni to get suspicious so I let Pushkar do the booking for us..

Bani-"pia?
Jai-"no..Pia doesn't know..?if someone sees me with u alone and Roshni finds out well she wil create a hungama so now I ghave a bahana that had dinner with friends..

Bani-"ohh I c..tum Rishni se itna darte ho?
Jai-"no ..meain nahi par woh Masi ko batah degi to Masi tenion karne lagegi..?

Bani-"i understand..

In the restaurant

Pia to Pushkar –"i still don't understand why we are sitting on a table for 4 .its so unromantic u know!"

Pushkar looking towards the entrance of the restaurant –"Lo aagaye "
Pia looks up to see Jai and Bani coming towards their table.

Jai-"kya hua drama queen ?...

Pia to pushkar-"aaj ke didn bhi tumhe is jai ke saath dinner karna chahte ho? Mujhe to tum dono pe shuck hone laga hai..

Bani-"pia..

Pia-kidding

Jai-"so what are we having?"Bani?
Bani-"I don't know..Pia?
Pia-"umm lets have spring roll for starters and drinks..

They have that then have dinner

Pushkar-"so is kt coming 2moro?
Bani-"yah"
Jai-"ya Tarun was telling me something about that..:

Jai and Pushkar excuse themselves after dinner

Jai –hum abhi aatee hai..

Pushkar-"excuse u..

Pia-"u 2 better not be doing anything bad..ok…ajj kal ka zama kharab hai!

Jai-"chalo..Pushkar..

They came back with a heart shaped chocolate…

Bani-"ohh my godd..
Pia-"wow..

Jai-"U 2 want to cut the cake?"

Pia-"duh..

Pia and Bani cut the cake and start to chow without caring to ask the guys.

The night goes by ………………………

Jai kisses Bani goodnight abd Pushkar kisses Pia goodnight
Jai-"goodnight dear ..i hope u had a wonderful time..
Bani-"I enjoyed it…its always do when u are around.."

She kissed jai back..

Jai to Pia-"good night Drama Queen :
Pia-"im nt a drama queen"
Jai-"ohh u are one"
Pia-'Im not Pushkar tell him that im not"

Pushkar slowly..-"well …I …welll

Pia-"im not…fine from now on Jai..Whenever I talk to u ..it will be filmy…that would be a sweet payback wouldn't it"

Jai-"wateva drama queen..i gtg ...goodnite...

Jai kisses Bani's cheek one last time and then he leaves with Pushki.
The girls go back to the apartment

Sunday they woke up at 10 .Bani had a bath and did the morning pooja while Pia did the laundry .then they had a early lunch.At 1 ,kt called.

Kt-"guys .im outside ur apartment which floor and flat..

Bani-"wait I come down.

Bani and Pia rush down ..standing there was Tarun with two suitcases and KT with 2 bags..

Kt-"hi guys
Tarun –"hey..

Bani , Pia .- "hey"

Pai—"come follow us.."

They are led to their room
They drop bags on the floor .

Pia-"this is our apartment"
Kt-"its beautiful"
Bani-"thanks"
Tarun-"thank u both for letting her stay with u guys..nahito I would have been worried about her.."

Pia-"welcome welcome…"
Bani-"kt come …I show u 2 ur room ..there are 2 rooms.. me and Bani share one..

Tarun-"ok kt I will have to leave now …I will see u around..ya!

Kt-"ok..bye..

Tarun leaves ,.

KT –„i have got my clothes but the bed will be here by 2moro .by the delivery services so I have to sleep on the sofa 2night

Bani-"ya that will be ok"
Pia-"so did u have lunch?

Kt-"ya ..i did..i will just unpack now..

Kt started unpacking while pia and Bani went to the living room to watch movie..
Kt joins them in a hour

Kt-"I like arshad..he is soo cute.."
Pia-"ya..he is. So u have boyfriend?"

Kt-"ya..i do.. I didn't tell … he will be coming to India and will be studying with us.."

Pia-"huh?'

Kt-"well he wanted to come with me but he just got the admission last week so he is coming "

Bani-"ohh soo sweet."

Pia-"what's his name ?

Kt-"Mayank.."

Pia-"oh know him for long?"

Kt-"for 3 years now..We were friends then u know…"

Bani-"oh so u are in love .."
Kt-"I guess u can call me that..im a little strict about going all the way. Know to sleep with some one and stuff and Mayank understands me…I don't think anyone else would understand that,.."

Bani nodded …Bani was also thinking that her views were exact same..she was not going to sleep with anyone unless she got married but..but..Jai … she knew that if Jai even made a move she would automatically melt in his arms.

Chap 53

Kt –"so…what about you Bani..Jai sirf friend hai ya??

Bani blushes….

Pia-"she is going out with him..

Kt-I knew it. she blushes. She makes it so obvious.."

Pia-"so when is YOUR Mayank coming?"

Kt-"on Wednesday"

Bani-"so soon…

Pia-"don't tell me he cant live without u?

Kt (blushing) -"I don't know. But he is a big flirt …
Bani-"now look who is blushing"

The movie finishes at 5 and the girls freshen up .kt goes back t unpacking and Bani has a nap while pia was applying nail polish.

At 7pm they had dinner at a nearby restaurant and come home around 9pm.

Jai hadn't called all day. . Bani thought that Roshni was glued to Jai ..Maybe that's y..

Next morning (MONDAY) they had a class at 10.they arrived at 9 and completed all the formalities for kt.the class ended at 1..They had lunch in the canteen and while returning they found a panipuri stall…. and they had a plate each..

2 days passed by…Jai had not yet broken the engagement..Not that he tried to..

It was Wednesday Mayank had to arrive. Pushkar, Bani, Kt, Pia had gone to receive him to the airport

As soon as Kt saw Mayank she ran to him and hugged him. They kissed and made their way towards the others.

Kt introduced them..

Mayank was going to live with Pushkar in his apartment..

They chatted on their way to the apartment. They had lunch on their way and Pushkar took Mayank to his apartment. Pushkar and Mayank got along well …both had common interest…girls and sports..
Mayank had rested the whole afternoon. Then they met up with the girls for dinner at 8.

Jai was busy so he couldn't make it .So he was missing .they chatted away.Kt seemed happy that Mayank was with her. But Pia felt something wrong…Mayank kept oon staring at Bani form time to time,
They had just met him today and his flirting had started…but still it was a wrong type of stare..

Chap 54

They finished dinner and said goodnight ande went back to their aparment
The bed had come for kt asn she wa in her room sleeping..

Pia lying on her bed-"did u notice something?'
Bani-"kya"
Pia-"Mayank kept staring at you"
Bani-"no I didn't "

Pia-"duhhhhh..ou werent with us mentally..u were kept looking at the door with a balnk expression remebering Jai.

Bani-"no I wasn't ..may be Mayank was casually looking at everybody and u kept on looking at him when he was looking at me"

Pia-"maybe….so jai ke bareh main kuch pata chala?'
Bani-"he had called …Roshni said that she wont leave Jai at any cost.."

Pia-"that chudel.."

Bani-"what can we do?"
Pia-"I don't know but what is Jai doing about it?
Bani-"he cant break Masi's heart..She will be going to haridwar next month..Then he will do something.."

Pia-"ohh ok but hopefuli nothing happens between him and Roshni in between that..
Bani-"what are u talking bout..jai is not like that..he told me so "

Pia-"Bani beta.. all guys want that...and jai wants it if he is a guy..he wouldn't say that to a boli girl lieku wil hehe loves u that's why and he accepts that? "

Bani-"ohhh.."

Pia-"its just a fact Bani.. acha soh jao…kal college janaa hai"

Bani-"ok..Goodnight..

They go to sleep…. Bani kept wishing that Jai wasn't waiting for his chance. To make a ,move.

2 weeks past by

And Mayank, Pia, Bani and kt, Pushkar went to classes and had lunch and dinner together.

Pia still noticed Mayank kept staring at Bani many times…and slowly Bani had also felt that but somehow Kt had not noticed…

It was Saturday 28TH FEB.

Bani was home with Pia and Kt and Rashi. They had decided to stay away from guys to watch girly movies.

Jai had called many times and spoken to Bani but he had told her last night that he would confirm her work at office for Monday.
Ranveer, Jai and Tarun had a meeting that afternoon. They all were out of town So jai called around 5pm.

Jai-"hi beautiful!"
Bani-:hi jai
Pia came behind Bani and shouted-"Zalil…hahahahahah hahhaa

Pia was laughing like a ghost..to bug hi..

Bani-"Pia…stop it na.."

Pia stopped…
Jai-"wow..punditji bulao aur ghar ki shnati karwa do..

Bani-"jai..

Jai-just kidding , so are you ready to be working women .."
Bani –"yes iam"
Jai-"to be with me for hours inside my office and .."

Bani-"and to work. Only.."

Jai-"ok ok so what time you can come everyday?"

Bani-"im free from 1pm everyday"

Jai-"okay then. I will pick you up everyday at 1.30 after lunch..Yeah?'

Bani-"employers don't pick up employees"

Jai-"well speacial employers pick up special employees.

Bani laughs. She couldn't argue with him..

Bani-"Masi kaisi hai?

Jai-"she's fine she will leave for haridawar on Monday.."

Bani-" oh aur Roshni-"

Jai-"i will have to do something after Masi is gone..
Bani-"ok
Jai-"jaan, I got to go..Ranveer and Tarun a re waiting for me,, love u"
Bani-'bye "

They hang up..

Kt-"look at her. Blushing…
Rashi-"tamatar ki tarah dikh arhi hai..

Bani-"stop it u2"
