Bani - Is there any Logic Left to her?

A girl who had always valued Love over everything else in life is now ready to sacrifice her Love because she wants to save his Money…..How Commonsensical and Consistent is this thought with a girl who had been an epitome of sense and sensibility till now? It's a wonderful thought to love someone to such an extent that you are ready to bear the brunt of everyone's hatred and prejudice to protect the one you love…But what about hurting that very person so much so that in the end, you might only be left contemplating whether what you did in the first place was worthwhile or not!

It would have been logical if Bani had not shared her so-called "Sacrificial Secret" with anyone…But here, she has made everyone a party to it, even the very people who are the cause of her whole "Divorce-Alimony" Drama! So one can only conclude, that Bani trusts the likes of Raashi, Pushkar, Massi, Jigyasa and Ranveer more than she trust the man who still keeps his faith in her, who still stands by her, who still is more than willing to wait patiently in the sidelines!

If earlier we debated that Jai's behaviour towards Bani was obnoxious and nasty, then what can one say about Bani's current behaviour towards Jai? Atleast, Jai had a strong reason to act the way he did….He was jilted, backstabbed, betrayed, hurt and left lonely and wounded and being a man of a fragile ego and a shattered heart, he let out his fury on the only woman who would bear it…Bani!

But what Bani is doing now, is something which probably even she isn't sure of! She loves Jai, but has never bothered to tell it to him in clear words or even express it explicitly…Jai meanwhile is in the same ground as Bani, that is, even he has never clearly expressed in words what he feels for his wife, but atleast his actions are clear enough…He cares for his wife and his unborn child and shows it apparent and accurate! Jai has been a man who has always been clear about what he has felt for the people in in his life, both in hatred and in love! But Bani, she has always been on an unsteady ground…..She gave love to Jai, when he least required it, and she is showing him hatred, when he least deserves it! All this would have still made some sense, if Bani had not forgiven Jai for the Park Road Mystery, but by the looks of it, she has more than forgiven him for bumping off her Mother....Then what is the cause for her very strange behaviour?

What happiness is she seeking for Jai by returning his money to him, but keeping his child and her love away from him?

The most painful part is obviously that Bani loves Jai, loves him a lot…But all that love is only giving a lifetime of pain and hurt to Jai and nothing else! If Bani knew Jai even a little bit, she would have known, what he wanted more in life, his wealth and status or the love of the woman whom he wanted by his side! Of what point is such a love which only hurts someone else? Jai's love has only got happiness, security, warmth and joy in Bani's life, but can the same be said for Bani? Strangely enough, the best moments of Jai's life would have been the one when he couldn't stand the sight of Bani and she supported him, despite the fact that she didn't feel any love for him!

They understood and bonded with one another the best when there was no love between them!

Hurting Jai by remaining cold and indifferent would have been one thing, but pushing him to the corner, playing with his emotions and deliberately causing him hurt every moment is so unlike Bani! What is the point in turning your face away are crying everytime after hurting the man you love, when there could have been a better way of solving the same problem! Bani's tears do not make any impact on me….Infact, if the viewers had not known of the truth, I think that would have made Bani more relatable and sympathetic than she is now!

I personally thought that it was extremely mean and insensitive of Bani to tell Jai that she loves him, in front of the very God, in whom Bani's faith resides and then telling him that, all that she just said was a faade…..Trust me, if Bani is doing all this to face Jai's hatred and get a Divorce, she will get much more than what she bargained for….Jai's hatred, A Broken Marriage, An unfaithful husband, A love-struck sister who will be used and thrown away and in all probability no Alimony…I mean, I can't see why and how Jai would give even a penny of his property to a woman who is making him go through hell!😡

So wake up and smell the roses, Ms. Bani Walia! You might just end up losing all that you have and all that you could have! I am not really bashing Pia, cause I know that her future is the bleakest amongst all, considering what Jai has in mind now!

Btw, It would be nice to see Jai back in his old form….the Post-marriage one….Bani won't know what has hit her!😆

I think Jai has more than endured for Bani......It is not a question of faith here...I had said this earlier and say it again, that if Jai goes and has a relationship with Pia or any other woman, it won't be Bani's fault at all, it will be Jai's weakness!

The whole point of what I wrote was of the "Logic" and "Necessity" behind Bani's action! I know that emotions and feelings have no Logic ect ect...But then, is this really a case of anyone's emotions???? Bani is doing all that she is doing for a Practical Purpose, to save Jai's Wealth...hence, if the whole point of her so-called sacrifice is in the end a materialistic and practical thing, then why not use the same means to acheive that end?

Why is Bani taking the aid of emotions to fulfill what is eventually a practical issue....That of saving Jai's wealth! The only reason she keeps giving to Massi and everyone else is that once Jai comes to know of the Truth, he will be very angry with Jigyasa and Ranveer and won't Divorce Bani...Hello??? So what is new then? He is always angry with Jigyasa and Ranveer and I dont' think he will be a bit hurt on knowing that they backstabbed him than he is now, when he is seeing Bani hurting and degrading him every moment!

The issue is not one bit of Faith......However cruel and nasty Bani might appear, that is deffo no reason for Jai to let go of his values and morals.....But the whole point is why should he endure just for the sake of enduring...Why should he still keep his trust in a woman who chooses to place her trust in the whole world, except him?

It is NOT about sacrifice MT!! Bani cannot tell Jai she is doing all this because she knows if she does then he'll want her back in his life. That is what she really wants but she is also burdened by the fact that Jai killed her mother. Its not about sacrifice at all, she is confused and drawn b/ween the 2 of the most important people in life. Remember she said:

"The person she hates the most in the world, is also the one who she loves the most"

So her love for mother seperates her from Jai, but her love for Jai persuades to help him.

as always you have mangaged to put the whole thing in right perspective using the right words...but I will say one thing in Bani's defence...she's always been persistent in her thought process....I mean, she has always been illogical in important situations all the time let me take you back:
1.Anu's pregnancy: Logically speaking what could she have gained by going all the way even to the divorce court w/o telling Jai about the baby being ANU'S??wouldn't it have been better to tell Jai the truth about Anu right in the first place and thus gaining his respect??afterall he did come to know in the end and the result was the same....
2.park road ka raaz: on one hand she runs to embrace him bfr the bomb goes off.so that means she had forgiven him at that moment for accidently bumping off her mom...and then she screams hysterically and freezes him off...what was the logic here?
3.she could have confided in Massi right when she came to visit her and made her the ally...but no had to wait for Massi to trick her....
4.Above all she claims she loves Jai, wants to do everything in her power to kep him happy and yet cannot understand that he loves her and wants her to be with him above everythig else...Also he loves his child so much ..so how will he be willing to allow her to walk away with the child after she hands over the property to him...afterall he's been tolerant till now only for her sake and the sake of his child...
So THIS IS MOST ILLOGICAL OF ALL .....

But I guess this was needed to bring Jai back to life and use poor Pia as bait....as you rightly said now Mr Walia will come out with all guns and make madam bani run for her life...he will first use Pia to make her jealous...then refuse to give a divorce and alimony...maybe even claim child custody and then poor Bani will be left nowhere.....except maybe faithful doggy Pushkar will be there to help her...I think Pushkar kaa naya naam should be "lassie" but then ..Lassie was more intelligent ....

I personlly feel that wat Bani is doing right now is certainly NOT Logical at all!!! She had always chosen love to money so why now sacrifice her love just for the sake of some property! Why not tell Jai wat is really happening and TOGETHER they might be able to tink of perhaps a better way to solve the problem if not start a new life happily with each others compeny instead of the having tons of property but a lonely and regretful life!
Even if she don't wanna spill out to Jai the secret, WHY hurt him so much??? 😕 Its simply not logical! Once Jai start to hate her, h wouldn't want her to get too much of his property and thus this would be a loss for both of them especially Bani as all her efforts are kinda useless!
SO why so much DRAMA, Hatred, Stupidity???

Im not actually saying that whatever Bani is doing is wrong... Its just that i dont find it logical at all!

coming to Bani,i also know that what Bani is doing is not very logical/practical.but,as far as i think whtaever she is doing is because she knows,if she tells Jai everything then he will decide to lose all his wealth but he will NEVER divorce her,and according to her divorce is the only way Jai's property can be saved from going into Ranveer's hands.so,that is the reason she is behaving like that,though in the process she is hurting him a lot.but,i think she doesn't want him to lose his hard-earned money and reputation.that doesn't mean that she values money more now.it's just that she can't see him as a loser.
i think i blabbered a lot .don't know whether i have been able to make my pont of view clear.but that is what i think. 😃

Well I can somewhat agree with what you say but with Pia implying that Jai was never Bani's love (ie she will eventually be the one to tell him about Bani being in love with Pushkar way way back) she has made him think otherwise and maybe his trust in Bani may waver ? and even if he does use Pia to find out Bani's real feelings, will he be able to accept the fact ? Where will it all leave Bani ?
As for her so- called "sacrifices" I think the creatives have really messed up her character (in making her confess about her intentions to Jiggs) Taking Pushkar's help was ok and having Raashi in it too. But I really wish they would have shown her confessing into Tarun who would have at least given her better advice !
Don't think I am that keen on seeing the next few weeks of KS with Jai flirting with Pia and trying to make Bani jealous (just can't stand Jai with anyone else now !)
I also wonder what has happened to the death threats on Jai ? Have the creatives left that angle for now and decided to concentrate on the "triangle" ?
Frankly I have become to cynnical about the whole show and its "so many " half finished moves ! 😉 It is just frustrating to see Bani's attitude and als getting ridiculous to the point of unreality.

Good points , both of you brought here. Let me ask a question? I would like you to step into Jai's shoe for a moment and think, at the end , after all these fighting is over and Bani returning, I mean exactly "returning" the money back to Jai, at that moment, will you receive it?

When you are able to side all the lawyers in the region under your spell and you let your wife win the case against you and after all these she still keep the truth from you, will you be able to digest the fact that you are the one who left alone not knowing the whole story? After so much humiliation in the public was really needed when so much of power Mr. Jai Walia holds in the society? Was it necessity to insult Massi which is the most painful thing to Jai?

WHAT LOGIC IS THAT BEHIND THIS STORY LINE BIASED ON WOMAN? WOMAN IS SO INSENSIBLE NOT TO DISCUSS SUCH THINGS WITH SOMEONE LIKE TARUN OR ADITYA OR FIND A SOLUTION INSTEAD OF INSULTING HER OWN MANGALSUTRA AND UNBORN CHILD? AND PIA, IS WOMAN IS SO CHEAP EVEN WHEN SHE UNDERSTOOD THAT HER SISTER LOVES JAI SO MUCH SHE WANT THE SAME MAN TO COME BACK TO HER? If I remember correctly...jai Waalia has slapped Ranveer on more than one occassion for sledging Bani...

She could have simply confided in Jai about Ranveer's sinister plan and Jia would have oblingingly smacked the sexy sanyasi once more....why create a maze into which she has gotten trapped herself...

I think a better way to justify this track would have been that Bani was going through an emotional dilemma...on the one hand she is mad at Jai for killing his mom and wants to get away from him and wants him to pay in the form of alimony...but on the other hand she is discovering that living without the man was not possible as she loved him so much...but just because she thinks she owes it to her parents she continues with her plan to hurt him and take revenge...

Anyway all this property business is sounding a bit far fetched...i mean aise properties milti to the divorce rate would have been higher that what it already is 😛 ...We need to tell Ekta Mayi to come and give all the KS viewers some hajmola...because yeh baat kuchh hazam nahi hui! 😉
