Part 30
Natwar pulled Rano roughly off his bike and pushed her into another nightclub. He grabbed her hand and made her walk behind him. He pulled her through smoking, dancing and drinking people. They walked up the stairs and he stopped infront of a table in a corner. He pulled Rano infront of him and pointed out to Saahil who was too busy flirting with other girls to notice either Natwar or Rano. Natwar saw the pain and humiliation in the eyes of Rano. He wanted to yell at her, but he didn't. He knew how hurt she would be by now and he didn't want to make it worse. He already regretted slapping her before, but he couldn't control himself. If his good friend Raj hadn't called him to tell him all about Saahil, Rano would have been raped by now. Raj was a good friend of Natwar. Unlike Nattu he liked going out and dating. When he was ordering a drink at the bar he overheard a conversation of Saahil. His gang asked him where Rano was and Saahil made fun of her telling his friends about how he made Rano fall in love with him and how he now is sick and tired of her and tries to dumb her. He had met a girl yesteday and they would meet at this club, so he deliberately gave Rano the name of the wrong club. Raj was about to hit the teeth out of Saahils mouth, but decided he had to get Rano away from the dirty place Saahil had sent her too. He figured out that Natwar could reach the place before him, so he called his friend up. Natwar was furious. Not only with Saahil but even more with Rano for falling so easily for that scumback. He had rushed down and saved Rano in time. Now he was standing there starring at her in pain. She pulled her arm out of his grip and walked up to Saahil. He seemed shocked to see her, before he could get up Rano slapped him tightly. Suddenly everybody around them dropped still and gathered to see what was happening. Rano wanted to call Saahil the worst of names, but she just slapped him again and turned around to walk away. Her eyes met Natwars and she quickly averted her gaze. She didnt have the heart or courage to look him in the eyes. She tried to walk past him, but he hold her hand and made her stop. He and Saahil were looking at each other with murderous looks and before Rano realised what was going on the two were punching each other and rolling over the floor. All she could do was scream and cry for help.
Natwar and Saahil were standing with a police officer in between them. Both were cuffed and were ready to jump at each others throats as soon as they were released. 'Please mr. Walia come in.' Saahil looked up instantly when he heard his uncle's voice. Jai gave him a murderous look and Saahil knew he was in trouble. 'Please have a seat mr. Walia. Can I get you anything to drink?' The officer was over nice to Jai, but Jai couldn't be more cold. He sat down and came to the point. 'What's the matter officer?' The officer took place and looked from Saahil to Jai. 'Well sir. You nephew has gotten into a fight at a night club with this chap over here. When we arrested him he told us he is your nephew, so that's why we called you. Jai just nodded his head. 'What about the other guy. Who is he?' The officer looked at Natwar and wondered why Jai was interested in him. 'We don't know yet sir. All he has told us, is that his name is Natwar. He refuses to give us his last name and since he wasn't wearing an id with him we still haven't been able to trace who he is.' A small smile broke through Jai's face. He stood up and walked up to Natwar, ignoring Saahil. 'Tell me Natwar. Why do you refuse to reveal your last name. From your apperance I can tell you are coming from a rich family. So why do you prefer to be mistreated and imprisoned, while your family can get you out of here with the slightest ease. Natwar looked at Jai and wondered why Jai pretended not to know him, while he knew very well he was a good friend of Rano and visted her many a times before. 'My family has nothing to do with this. This is my problem and I will solve it myself. There is no need to wipe the floor with my family and their honor by bringing them to this police station.' Jai smiled and turned around. 'Officer, pleae I want to go from here as soon as possible. Please arrange all the formalities for the bail.' The officer nodded and grabbed his phone. 'Arrange for the bail of Saahil ...' Jai interupted the good man. 'No officer, not for Saahil for Natwar.'
Bani was trying to calm Rano down. She still didn't have a clue of what happened. All she knows is that Jai got a call and he and Zyad rushed out. Zyad came back with a crying Rano and Jai was nowhere to be found. All Zyad told her was to take care of Rano and not be scared. He assured her everything would be fine and he left again. Bani had tried her very best to calm down Rano and know what had happened but she refused to say anything. She had hugged Bani tightly and cried her heart out. Bani heard Anjali calling and she left Rano after assuring to be right back. She opened the bedroom door of Anjali and checked on her. 'Yes sweety? Are you ok?' Anjali shook her head. 'Bani aunty I had a nightmare. I dreamt about this lady, who made us part. She pulled me out of your arms and I kept screaming. You were standing there looking at me and crying, but you didn't move. I tried to see the face of the lady, but I couldn't.' Bani hugged Anjali and assured her that she is with her. She gave her a glass of water and put her back to sleep. Just then she heard the frontdoor opening. She quickly went to see who it was. A happy Pia walked in and hugged her. 'Didi! I have great news. Today I auditioned for a Balaji show. I was so excited, but I think I've done a good job. They will call me at the end of this week to let me know whether I made it or not.' Bani didn't at all like the modeling and acting Pia was getting into lately, but she believed she had to let her do what she thought was right. If she wanted to modle and act, she couldn't refuse her. Atleast it kept Pia busy and away from her bad friends who made her come home drunk. They sisters hugged and Pia sensed something was wrong. Bani told her everything that had happened and Pia ran towards Rano's room to comfort her sister.
'Zyad you will sleep over at mine. It's past midnight. No need to wake up your servants by going home so late.' Zyad visted India many times. Not just to meet his friend, but for business as well. So a couple of years back he decided to buy himself an apartment in Mumbai. Jai was very upset, but Zyad was just not the person who could live too long on the suspenses of other persons. He loved his privacy and liked others to have theirs. 'No, thanks mate. Ill just go home and we will meet tomorrow insha'Allah.' Jai knew there was no point insisting, so he took Natwar and left in his car. Zyad walked back into the police station and bailed Saahil out. He knew that Jai was very angry now, but he also knew that if Saahil spend the night at the police station, it would be all over the new by the morning. He dropped Saahil at home and drove away while listening to his favourite song. He thought of Bani and suddenly bursted out laughing. 'Jai, my friend. Sooner or later you will have to admit that you love her.'
