PART 7 -
Now that Bani realised she loves Jai, she decides not to listen to what Thought # 45625 said about staying away from Jai. She will go close to him, and will eventually mutter the courage to tell him. [those are the rite words....ritte?? lol] On her way to the library (to drop off some books, rememeber?? lol), and unfortunately it's become pretty dark now, because since she was lost in her thoughts she just kept walking...and walking...to nowhere. Anyways, going, she confronts some guys from her college who supposedly try to tease her. Bani's walking when they come in her way.
Bani: Umm..[nervous]..can I pass guys?
Guys: Hehehehe [laughing, with gum in their mouths...u noe..the typical goons 😛 lol) What's the magic word?
Bani: [with her head down] Please..?
Guys: No no no no no...that's not the word, sweetheart! What's the "real" magic word...[approaching Bani]
Bani starts to move back.
Bani: Don't come near me... stay away!
Guys: Oh yeah...we'll stay away...right after you say the magic wordd!! hahahah [lol i noe it sounds lame]
Bani: Just let me go!! [now she's really scared]
The guys are still advancing towards Bani.
Bani: Please..mujhe jaane deejye...maine aap ka kya begaara hai?!
And as soon as Bani stops talking, she freezes where she is thinking they'll freeze too, but nope! They keep coming...and then she finally makes a run for it!
The guys chase Bani down the.. umm.. what would you call it.. okay, I'll call it "galli" (street/ally), and where Bani finds a dark corner, she hides, and teh goons miss her. She's safe for now, but not for long..
But meanwhile, at Bani's house...
Bani's mom: Yeh Bani bhi naa...pata nahin kahan chalee gayee...Jai are you sure beta ke usne tumse kuch nahin bataya?
Jai: Naheen auntie...actually, woh MUJHE kyun bataye...kal raat ke jhagre ke badd woh mujhse baat bhi naheen kar raheen.
Priya: [silently] Come on Bani...where are you??
Bani's mom: Jai beta..tum ek kaam karoo. Go home dear, and if we recieve any news about Bani then we'll notify you, sounds good?
Jai: Lekin auntie..
Mom: Don't worry kid, she'll be alright. [smiles]
Jai: Alright...but you know my cell number, right?
Priya: Yes yes, we do..now go home and be worry free, because whereever Bani is, I'm sure she's alright...she's mature enough to know how to take care of herself.
Jai: Okay.. bye auntie, bye Priya. [And Jai leaves]
Meanwhile where Bani is, the goons eventually find her, and so she starts running again. While running, she reaches the street where it's not quite busy with traffic, but she sees a car coming from the distance. She begins running towards it [not directly infront of it obviously 😛 ] hoping that the driver will stop and help her. But unfortuanately, before she could get to the car, the guys grab her from another dark ally and take her in.
After some time, while driving for a long time, Jai passes by a place where he sees someone lying unconcious on the floor, and since it was really late [and the person looked like a girl] he decided to help. When he went to the person, he recognized the face: It was BAni. She was bruised, and whatnot and lay unconcious on teh sidewalk. By the way, while Bani was being chased teh goons got her once and sorta attacked her..now you can imagine how that would've been. One sleeve of her top kinda ripped, and umm..maybe a scar or so on her face and hair messed up. Seeing Bani in this condition Jai immediately picks her up and puts her in the car.
Next stop: Jai's house [because it's closer]. They arrive at Jai's home.
Jai lifts Bani out of the back seats and takes her inside. When he takes her inside, Max [his lil brother] and his [auntie] Jigyasa Auntie are waiting for him o so impatiently, but do not expect him to be bringin in a girl with him.
Max: Bhaiyya yeh...
Jai: Move! [Jai takes Bani upstairs to his room and places her on the bed]
For some time, he puts wet cold towels on her forehead since she had a fever, and told her auntie to well, get her changed because her clothes were pretty ripped. After about an hour, she regains consiousness. Bani has no clue about where she is.
Bani: [rubbing her head] Main kahaan hoon??
Jai pops his head infront of her: Tum mere ghar per ho, mere kambre main..
Bani looks around and kinda recognizes the room as it was messy: How did I get here?
Jai: Well... see you had a lot to drink at the party..and then I was going to drop you home...but you insisted that you wanted to come to my house..and..like you know..I couldn't say no..and then I brought you here..and....
Bani: WhAT!!!?!? [she just jumps up]
Jai: Hey...don't blame me..it was all your fault!
BAni: [staring at Jai and shocked] Then slowly, she just starts crying!!
Jai: [UH-OH!] Oh no no no no Bani!! Bani meh...
BAni: Don't touch me!! [still crying..]
Jai: Bani..mein..[almost about to laugh] mein mazaak karraha thaa...I was just playing with you!! And you took it seriuosly! [Now he bursts out laughing] I wanted to see that expression on your face!! OMG!!
Bani's crying turns into anger, and Jai's laughter slowly fades away. For a minute they both are silent.
Bani: You!! [hits Jai playfully] Tumne.....OMG! I'm gonna kill you JAI!!
Jai: Okay....Okay.... [laughing] I'm sorryyy...look, I'm even holding my ears!! I'mm sorrryyy!!
Bani: [sits there with her arms folded, but still angry] Theek hai..Theek hai..is baar tumhe maaf kiya..lekin agle baar kiya NA!! [punches him playfully] toh me tumse kabhi bhi maaf naheen karoongii!
Jai: Okay...baba...I promise. Leking Bani, mujhe ek baat batao.
Bani: Hmm.
Jai: Yeh chot tumhe kaise lagee??
Bani: Yeh...umm..[and she tells him everything]
Jai: Idiot! Tum duniya ki number one bewakoof ho. Mujhse laraee karke chalee gayee..apne man mani karne...gusse me aa kar kuch bateen kya kehdi, ke tumne seriously le liye! Stupid!
Bani: [puppy face] Sorry...mujhe laga ke tum wake main mujhse naraaz the.. I thought you really WERE mad at me...solly..
Jai: [angry and has his face turned] .. [Right now Jai's off teh bed]
Bani: Jai! Maine bola nee ke I'm sorry...[gets off the bed and walks towards him]..aglee bar nahin karoongii..please..mujhe maaf kardo?
Jai: [without turning around] Hmm..maaf kiya. [But still a little angry]
Bani: Yeey! Aww Jai!! You're choo chweett!! [Hugs him from the back since he's still turned away] Kash har kisi ko tum jaisa dost mile...jo koi bhi baat par gussa naa ho..
Jai: Actually Bani...dost ho to tum jaisa..jo galti kar ke bhi maafi mange...aur galti naa karne pe bhi..
Max sees all this from a distance...
now guys...if you're wondering if Max is a good guy or bad...i'll tell you that he's NOT a bad guy!! And...btw...now, come the better parts...enjoy reading!
