I agree...one' s ethics, one's principles should not be contextual...they need to be applied in every situation irrespective of whether it affects one personally or not...As a generel case, this would undoubtedly be the norm...

In Bani's case I think, there's another point to be noted....When Ranvijay told her that Jai accidentally was responsible for his wife's death, he also categorically acquitted him of all blame...He made it a point to stress that it was just an accident...It was destined to be so and therefore Jai should not be held guilty of the act...That in itself would have gone a long way in making Bani feel a lot better...If the person who she would have thought most affected by the Jai's action did not wish to blame him, it would have been hardly logical for her to jump the gun and take cudgels against Jai...Mind you, she didnt even ask for any details....She accepted Ranvijay's version of events as it was...She had no reason to believe that he was lying to her or even saying things under pressure...Obviously one doesnt fight for people who dont want to be fought for...What good would it do for her to rake up the past in this case!..

So Bani's natural reaction was to go and comfort Jai, the man she loves...to reassure him that it was alrite and he neednt be stressed...She did not underplay the enormity of the deed....only tried to make him see that bygones could be bygones...

The case of her mom is different...Jai has told her how he accidently caused her death...He has described how her father held him guilty for it...How he himself felt responsible for causing this tragedy in her life...Bani feels shattered, victimised and betrayed...She therefore lashes out at Jai...with anger...hurt and bitterness...!!!

Bani's character is such that I doubt she would deliberately be a silent witness to any injustice happening before her...She has her blindspots when it comes to the people she loves, but her sense of justice is strong too....Remember how she pleaded with Rano for the sake of Rashi...how seh was willing to sacrifice her own sister for that of Anu's marriage...

Human nature is what one defines it to be...If one thnks that justice is important, forgiveness and sensitivity are important too....so is the ability to judge situations differently....Perhaps it would not be to everyone's good if the same parameters would be applied to every circumstance...The world would be a more uncomfortable place to live in!!!

Bani should .. put the same ... thought that she did when .. she comforted jai on accidently killing Ranvijays wife - on herself ... but rite now she is very hurt .. and hormones are all haywire ... . but she will come around coz its Balaji telesarials .... !

In my opinion, no matter how big the truth is, if it's related to us in a big way, we will always react to it.

For instance, looking at bani's case, when this fake story about park road was told to bani from ranvijay, her reaction would be like any other human being. If ranvijay said that he doesn't hold jai responsible for his wife's death, then of course bani will not hold anything against him either, but when the real truth did came out, bani was able to bear it, and went hugging on jai…. Why because she knew that jai wouldn't lie because he is dying and for that moment she felt like jai is her husband, and he even confessed what happened on june 29.

But what I think is she was okay with her mom's death, because in some way she felt that jai was not guilty and it happened out of an accident and wasn't done purposely.

What struck me was that only when roshni told her the mere reality, then she went off telling jai that she hates him. Roshni made the truth look so bitter, that bani being a sensitive and mature girl went obstruct. I mean didn't she feel for a moment when jai was telling the truth about park road when he was on the verge of death, that he is indeed telling the truth.

She never listened to anyone before, so why now??? The only problem is that, she didn't know how to react, and she went off saying things to jai, that she might not have mean it..

Reality check:

There are things that we come across in life that affect us forever and leave the bitter memories behind, but knowing the human nature, we are not perfect at all.

To me, everyone will react in different ways as prior to the situation. When things have to do with our own loved ones, we might not be able to take the blow, but when they are related to other people, the only thing we can do it share their sorrow.

Bottom line is that we only react to things that are close to us, and not far from us. As for others, we can just feel sorrow.

But I would say it also depends on the individual's personality. Now if you look people in reality, when it comes to a death of their relatives or someone whom they didn't know, they wouldn't react and just share their feelings of sympathy, but there are still some people, that are very hyper sensitive about things, that are not even related to them, and still they will cry for someone that they might have not known.

In bani's case, she didn't know ranvijay's wife, and she only felt sympathy towards ranvijay, and she let bygones be bygones. It means that bani is mature enough and not sensitive to just cry for someone like that.

When jai told her about her mom dying on park road, she felt the agony, but moreover, she was scared to lose jai. Her true feelings came out when jai was dying, because she loves jai and wouldn't want to let him die.

But when roshni tried to show her the reality from her point of view, she in a way felt embarrassed, because somehow I felt that she is trying to manipulate bani by saying that she is going to live a happy life with a man who killed her mother, so I guess she burst out saying how much she hates jai! My opinion, she might have said that, but didn't mean it! If bani is mature enough, then she should be able to realize the truth and the fact that whatever happened wasn't jai's fault.

I know my analysis is kind of confusing, but just try to figure it out!! Lolzz .. okay got to go! Bye for now!!

I'm not gonna lie and say that if my neighbor and my mother died, I would react the same way to both deaths...Obviously I'm closer to the latter than the former...We can't truly ever empathize with people in tragic situations unless we actually have expierenced it....I think Bani's reaction was natural...At least I doubt many people would have instantly forgiven their husband/life partner for killing their mother...and hiding it as well...Yes their is a set principles that one should be guided by, but to always follow this path without being clouded by emotions is extremely difficult...humans aren't perfect...
