Jai and Bani stood staring into each other's eyes....they were close...yet so far from each other....the song conitued in the backgroud....it corresponded to their feelings....accuratley....

"mujhe pyar do, mujhe pyar do,

bahrson kiya hain maine intezar,
mujhe pyar do, mujhe pyar do...."

Jai slowly came towards Bani....he didn't break eye contact....bani instinctly stepped back...her nerves tingling.....she wanted Mr walia to touch...and yet...she was afraid?....

He bent his head.....his face a mere inch away from hers...she could feel his breath on her skin....then heat as his lips very lightly touched her cheek.....his hands travelled up her arms....searing her flesh with their heat.....they slowly moved towards her back....her waist....another kiss followed...then another...he was nearing her lips....her hands were brought up to his chest by his.....

then she saw flashes of that night....saw the next morning.....No...not again...I can't...she thought to herself.....tears sprang into her eyes...she needed to breakaway....she pushed Jai slightly and turned away from him.....

Jai couldn't help it...the need for her within him was drawing him closer to her...he wanted to taste the softness of her skin....feel her.....he drew close to her and kissed her.....

he felt along her arms....but that was not enough for his greedy desire....he had to feel all of her.....he....

he was suddenly pushed....softly but very forcefully away from bani.....He looked down and saw that she had turned away from him....saw her quietly weeping.....

Guilt and anger at himself....at his behaviour...at his desire began to grow inside him....what have i done...?....but...if this is so wrong.....why does it feel so right?....today i married bani.....i had wanted to....i need to show her my love....

"Bani...?"

"Nahin Mr Walia...yeh sab..." She took a deep breath, trying to control the emotions flowing through her...trying to control her tears...

"Kya Bani?....yeh sab ...kya?"

"Yeh gahlat hai....aap ne....peechli baari ne is sab ko ek gahlati kaha tha...aur aaj phir se..."

"Woh gahlat tha bani....tum apne hosh mein nahin thi...aur maine tumara....lekin aaj...aaj hum dono hosh main hai...aur yeh gahlat nahin hai.."

"Lehkin Mr Walia...woh..."

"Shhhh Bani...." he whispered in her ear coming up behind her....gently putting his arms around her...."Bas bani.....yeh ho lene do.....aajse tum meri biwi ho...." he kissed her lightly on the cheek.....then he turned her slowly....so that she was again facing him.....he framed her face with his hands....he brought his face near hers again...
