PART 11:

By the time Jai and Bani had arrived home it had started to rain....How fitting...Bani thought to herself....she felt the rain was here to wash away her old sorrows and was a blessing from God that from now....everything would be okay....

Bani saw all the cars parked in the driveway and remembered that tonight was another night of wedding festivities.....how could she go in there?....she was dressed so simply....all the questions....and Rano?.....how could she go and see her pain?.....no not yet....she wasn't ready yet.....it was already late....she would just wait in the outhouse tonight.....one night to think about what to do.....she had to make Rano understand....or make the Walia's understand....this was a matter of three people's happiness....

She abruptly turned the opposite direction from the house and slowly began to walk towards the outhouse.....her previous home....

Jai turned and looked at Bani's retreating figure....confusion etched in his face....Why is Bani going that way?....is she not coming back...?...No she can't do this....she has to come...she is mine....i need to....

He began to walk briskly in order to catch up with Bani....

Bani turned towards Jai when she felt him draw near....

"Please Mr Walia...kuch na kahye...mujhe thoda waqt do...abhi mujme itni himmat nahin hai ke mein andher sab ko....please mujhe sirf aaj raat ki maulat..."

Jai looked into her wide eyes....saw the emotions she was trying to keep at bay...and relented....she only wanted one night....he could give her that...after all...he had asked for time too.....

He nodded and took Bani's hand and led her to the outhouse.....

Jai turned the lights on....and noticed that the rain had penetrated through their clothes....he wanted to hold Bani....he needed to feel her in his arms again.....he wanted her....wanted to kiss the pain away....wanted to feel.....complete?...whole?....


Bani walked further into the house....still lost in her own thoughts...not noticing how wet the rain had made her....how alluring she seemed.....how desirable....

"Bani....?"

"Ji"

"Kya tum mere saath.......dance...?" he asked her shyly...

"Lehkin Mr Walia....music....?" she looked at him quizzically, while Jai walked over to the radio and switched it on......

the song "Mujhe pyar do" (from ab tumare hawale watan saathiyo) came on....

He pulled bani into his arms.....dancing slowly with her.....

He gradually pulled her closer and closer....then twirled her around coming up behind her back....he took his fore-finger and traced the side of her face and neck .....then twirled her again....bringing her back towards him and arching her backwards over his arm...while he traced kisses up from her naval to her neck.....

Bani didn't think she had heard him correctly....dance?....but there was no music?....and here....?....

Then she saw him put the radio on and watched him come towards her....she was afraid but something in his eyes gave her strength.....

He had pulled her into his embrace and led her into a slow dance....then he began to trace her face and neck......then the kisses on her naval.....Oh God....what was Mr Walia doing to her.....why couldn't she pull away?.....What were these feelings?...these sensations?.....

She tried to walk away....but Jai just held her hand and pulled her towards him....they had stopped dancing now....the song continued...."Jao na is tarah..bahoon ko chod ke.......Chaahoongi mein tujhe ab sanam toot ke...."

They stood facing each other......looking deep into each others eyes....sensing the need that was welling up inside of them.....

sorry guys.....thats all i had time for.....have to go work....will try and write more when i get back later in the evening ok.....
