I have a question. I haven't seen the episode but I've read the updates and I was thinking about Jai's reaction to Bani trying to find about Park Road.

I am interested in knowing how would you gauge Jai's reaction of telling Bani that if he tells her the truth, they can never see each other again, or face each other again. He keeps repeating that if she comes to knows his past then they will never be able to talk to each other, and their roads will become separate.

My question is do you think that it is his shame on the incident and that he thinks that if he tells Bani the raaz, she will not be able to face him and he her...because of what transpired, thus forever marring their relationship?

Jai knows, has an inkling, that Bani loves him, and he knew that Bani would feel terrible at the idea of never being able to see him. Is this why he berated her using the basis that if the raaz comes out their ways will become separate, using her feelings to keep her from finding the truth out?

So what do you guys think? Did Jai use Bani's feelings against her? Or is the Raaz really shameful for Jai to admit that he and Bani will not be able to face each other? Or is it a different reason all together?

Exactly my question! I have not seen the episode yet. From the update, it seems like he almost emotionally blackmailed her. But that is not the JW we know. I'll come back to this post after watching the video.

I havent see the episode yet, but i am confused 😕 that what is this raaz is about 😕i am sure Jai didnt use her feeling against her. He is also in love with her 😃

Hmm....extremely good point raised! I was instinctively going to side Jai Walia on this and say that it was more to protect Bani from getting hurt than anything else but I don't suppose I could! I mean he was almost going to tell her the raaz very well knowing that she would stop him due to her growing feelings for him which she's made clear more than once. I suppose it is emotional blackmail on the part of Jai but to protect Bani as well from being overly curious and hurting herself in the process. So I guess even though he was using her feelings it had his feelings embedded in them. We can see that his guilt over the incident has slowly been taken over by his concern for Bani so I guess this was his way of stopping Bani from being curious while at the same time not hurting her feelings. Sometimes a white lie can actually do more good than the kadva sach 😊

Ok I'm back after watching it! So Jai starts off by telling her that everyone has a secret that he/she wants to hide from the world due to shame. And then he goes on to say that Bani will not see his face once she knows the truth. I felt there was guilt/remorse in his voice/attitude as he said that.

So, I think he said so, because HE would not be able to face her once she knows his hideous past. Somehow, the moment was too emotional for him to be too manipulative with Bani. So, I would like to rule out the possibility that he used her feelings against her.

BUT, in the next episode we may see something different all together. We may see him thinking that he emotionally blackmailed her only to keep her with him or to not hurt her.

Well, cant wait for tomorrow because tomorrow is the day....


....after which we will never have to see a horror-stuck, white faced, wide-eyed Jai thinking about the mechanic, the park road sign, the shrill shriek, his conversations with Roshni, etc etc, accompanied by that traumatizing background music. 👏

Ok Im changing my stance. Watched that scene again. He repeated it several times that he is ashamed of his past, he wants to hide it , and that he wont see HER face again! And also that it may give her peace, but his trouble, anxiety will only increase once she finds out that RAAZ. He said these things enough times that they really sank into her mind. So, it really does seem like he WAS using her feelings for him against her. And perhaps he did that not only from himself, but for her too. He doesnt want her hurt, but more than that he doesnt want her to leave him due to his past.

Whatever it is, this RAAZ has surely driven us nuts.

After hearing some contradictory viewpoints I've decided to change my stance as well like jojo.....since I haven't watched the video yet I suppose I could be jumping to conclusions but I think that Jai's concern for his wife definitely overrides his concern for the raaz to be kept a raaz. He's willing to give up on his wife and live a life of guilt in her eyes if it'll keep her safe and alive! I think that's a sacrifice that shouldn't go unnoticed! I think it was Jai's concern for Bani and her life rather than Jai's manipulative streak that shone in that scene and I'm sticking to that! 😃 Phew....am I glad I don't have to think of Jai as a manipulative, evil man anymore! 😳
