Part 9:-

Jai took her to his favourite place- beach

Thay searched for a place to sit and eventually sat on the rock nearby.

"jai, I didn't knew that you can also like this place. I mean you seem to be very busy in your work . how you get time to come here. Then suddenly bit her tongue to ask such a silly question"

Jailaughed at first and then said "whenever I feel lonely I come here and spend some time here watching the waves crashing by the shore. It gives peace to my heart. I have never share this place with anyone even adi doesn't know about this but I don't know why I felt like sharing it with you."

"I am with you . till eternity"said bani placing her hand on his.

He looked at her and saw the truth flashing in her eyes.

"and I also promise to be with you through out every part of your life"

He then kept his hand on her shoulder and she leaned and placed her head on his shoulder watching the waves . after what seem like eternity jai looked at the watch and saw that it was 10"30. He said

"bani chalo ghar chalet hain . abhi humko adha ghanta aur lagega ghar paghunchne me. Zyada late hua to mausi aur dadi hum logon ko bahar hi sula dengi"

He helped her to come down from the rock and they returned home.

"kahan the tum dono yeh bhi koi time hai ghar aane ka.?asked dadi on the door folding her arms across her chest showing anger

"wo dadi hum log .. aa…"

"Are main to mazaak kar rahi thi re " replied dadi while laughing on their state.

"chalo tum dono so jao bahut raat ho gayi hai. Sab log bhi so gaye hain. Sahil aur rano padh rahen hain agle hafte unke exam hain na. wo dono studyroom me hain "

"jai aap chaliye main un dono ko check kar k aati hoon . aap jab tak fresh ho k aa jaiye."said bani indicating him to get fresh and then went to study room.

Bani prepared three cups of coffee and went to studyroom.

"hi love birds kya baat hai aaj padhai kar rahe ho dono"asked bani looking at their bewildered state.

"hi mami, wo bas exams ki taiyaari kar rahe the. "

"ye lo coffee tum dono k liye"

"thanks mami you r the best"sahil said taking his cup of coffee

"are yeh teesra cup kis k liye hai ?"rano asked

"ye cup tumhaare mamji k liye wo abhi aate hi honge yahan . said bani keeping the cup at the table.

As jai was entering the room bani was moving out and they both collided and bumped into each other. Jai held bani from the waist and bani kept her hands on his neck so as not to fall down.they both kept staring at each other and suddenly electricity went off and bani shouted and hugged jai tightly .

Rano said "chill didi we all know that how much you are scared of dark. But we all are here. Don't get panick"

Jai also kept caressing her head soothing her and telling her that she need not to worry as he is there with her.

And after few minutes lights came and suddenly bani let go of jai. Feeling embarrassed on her condition she bid goodnight to the couples and left for her room to change.

After few minutes jai also came and lie down on bed

"bani I never knew you were scared of dark"jai asked laughingly

"jai aap mera mazaak uda rahe hai na"said bani making angry faces at him.

Are nahi I was just asking

"haan I am afraid of dark. But now I will not be worried"

"wo kyun(why)"

"becoz I know that you are with me."

Jai saw the sincerity of her words smiled at her. They wished each other good night and slept.

Next morning

Today bani was in a hapy mood. She has received call from the school . they were celebrating annual day and that she has to attend the function.

As it became the habit of jai to tie the dori of her blouse . as he was tying the dori She asked jai to drop her at school and she will come by her own.

When she was ready jai came near her and opened her hair which was made in a bun. Bani was startled by his sudden action.

"you look pretty in open hair.come soon I will be waiting for you for breakfast".

Bani shyly looked at herself in the mirror and blushed.

She came down keeping her hair open .

"kya baat hai di. Aaj kahin bahar ja rahi hain kya aap. Bahut sunder lag rahi hai" said rano mischeviously .

"wo aaj school me annual function hai na to wahin ja rahi hoon. Dopahar taka a jaongi".

"are bani aate waqt tu anu ko bhi pick kar lena main driver bhej doongi" dadi said eating her breakfast

"theek hai dadi"

"Chalen bani"

"ji chaliye.

Jai dropped bani at the school and went to his office. Function was a grand function. While returning from school bani asked driver to pick anu.

She was about to go inside the college when she saw anu going out with a boy . she followed her to the hospital. She followed them.

She searched her in the hospital suddenly she saw her moving out of the room looking tired and pale. But she was not like that in the morning.

Anu saw bani and was shocked to see her there and a piece of paper fell down from her hand.

Bani picked it up and was shocked to see "pregnancy result positive"

Yes anu was pregnant.

PART 10

Bani gave a tight slap to anu.

"anu what is this . do you know what have you done?" how dare you ? do you have any idea what will happen when everybody will know this?"

"I am sorry mami. I am really sorry said any crying uncontrollable.

"you go home and don't tell this to anyone . I will join you very shortly."

bani took a cab and send anu with the car. She reached the walia industries. She entered and directly went to jai's cabin. Without knocking the door she went inside and saw jai and aditya discussing on something. They were surprised to see her there

"hello adi uncle. I was just passing by so I thought that we can have lunch together"said bani hesitatingly

"hi bani, well I am sorry I have to attend an important meeting you both enjoy the lunch. Bi jai we will wrap it up later." Said jai walking towards the door.

"bani . what a surprise ? come we will go out and will have a lunch." Said a happy jai

'jai, please can we talk for a while . we can have a lunch here. Its very important".sensing some tension He ordered lunch for them . and went back to bani.

"haan bani bolo" sitting beside her on the sofa .

"jai pehle aap mujhse wada kijiye k aap meri baat dhyan se sunenge aur gussa nahi karenge . please."

Jai held her hands "bani. Tum mujhse bejhijhak kuch bhi baat kar sakti ho. Bolo kya baat hai aur tum pareshaan kyun ho?"

Bani held her breath and told the entire thing to jai.when she reached the end of it she saw jai holding her hnds very tightly. When for few minutes she didn't got any reaction she said

"jai I know this is like a shock for you and believe me its all true".

"bani, I believe you. But I am just shocked . how can she do this to all of us. Hamare pyaar me kuch kami reh gayi thi kya jo usne aisa kiya . usne ek baar bhi nahi socha k hum logon par kya beetegi."

There was a knock on the door. "come in".

"sir here is your lunch. Anything else you require sir"

"no sia thankyou. Well cancel all my appointments for today and tomorrow. I will be working from home."

"very wel sir".

Half hour has passes and jai still has not touched anything . he went to the balcony and stared out of the city. Bani knew how hard it has been for jai. She arranged the plate for jai .

"jai chaliye kuch kha lijiye . bhooke rehne se problem solve to nahi hogi na.

"mujhe bhook nahi hai bani"

She went to him and put her hands on his .

"jai koi bhi problem badi nahi hoti. Har problem ka solution hota hai. Aap pehle kuch kha lijiye phir hum log ghar chalte hain aur dekhte hain k hum log kya kar sakte hai is bare me."she guided him to the sofa and sat near him. When he not touched his food. She took the plate added daal in rice and held the spoon near him. He was astonished.

"lijiye kha lijiye . MERE LIYE" touched by her words he opened his mouth. Bani feeded him and he like an obedient child followed her. Then he took the plate

" I know k tumne bhi kuch nahi khaya hai. Chalo kha lo" and then he feeded her.

It was strange that how both of them without saying anything can communicate with this flexibility. They didn't require words to sooth each other . their mere presence was enough for each other.

After the lunch was over they went home. The journey to the home was silent.

When they reached home everybody was shocked and yet happy to see them together. But looking at their tense faces they knew that something is not good.

Jai called everybody and asked them to sit as he has to talk to all of them. When everybody was there he called anu and asked her

"anu do you want to tell something to us."

"wo mamaji … main… main … wo……"

"ab tumhe bolne kyun problem ho rahi hai . jab tumne yeh kaam kiya tab tumhe sharam nahi . ab kyun sharam aa rahi hai" anger and hurt was visible in his eyes.

"jai kya baat hai. Kya kiya hai anu ne. tum kyun us par itna gussa kar rhe ho."said worried dadi. By now everybody was getting impatient about what happened.

"dadi, mausi. Anu is pregnant.and we didn't know all of this. Agar aaj bani nahi jati to hume shayad pata bhi nahi chalta."

Everybody stood shocked . aditya went to her and gave her a tight slap

" iam sorry papa . I am really sorry"said anu crying profusely

He was about to slap her again when bani holded his hand

"adi uncle its not time to give punishment . its time that we should do something. We have to talk to the boys parents and have to get marry anu fast"

On asking her they found that it was rohit randheria. Son of jai's a very near and dear firend.

They called them and told them the entire thing. They were shameful about what their son has done . they decided to get them married as soon as possible . in the evening pandit came and told them that early possible date is in two weeks time. So the marriage was fixed . both the families congratulated each other. Suddenly the atmosphere which was tensed during the afternoon was happy and lively as it was the wedding of their daughter.

During the night in jai bani's room.

After cleaning the dinner leftouts when bani entered their room she saw jai sitting on the bed leaning his head on the back rest of the bed. Bani asked"jai, kya hua?"

He gestured her to come and sit near by him. He dold his hands and kissed it.

"thank you bani. Agar aaj tum nahi hoti to pata nahi main kya karta . thankyou so much"

"jai, hamare beech me ye thankyou jaise shabd ache nahi lagte . kya ye ghar mera nahi ? anu meri bahen jaisi hai. Main uske liye kuch kar saki ye mere liye khushi ki baat hai."seeing the sincerity in her words he hugged her hard. She hugged him back and they slept holding each other.

In the morning bani was the one to wake early. She saw the position . she was partially beneath him . he was holding be her waist. She blushed and moved out of the bed quietly so as not to wake him up. She stared at his face bent down and placed a tender kiss on his forehead.

She went to take shower. While in the shower she was thinking."why I am feeling like this. Is this love? When he is with me I don't think about anybody. This feeling is much stronger than what she thought about pushkar.may be this is love. To avoid more confusion she took the shower and went down for puja and preparing the breakfast.

Part 11

After making breakfast when she came back she saw that jai was still sleeping . he was looking like a baby. She started opening all the curtain of the room. Jai opened his eyes dueto the sunray peeping through the window. He saw the back of bani. Her perfect figure . the pink sari making her even more beautiful. She saw jai wished him goodmorning and went back to her normal routine.

Sahil and rano came very late still looking sleepy.

"are tum dono. Kya hua tum dono ko". Asked jigyasa

"kuch nahi mummy. Wo kal se hamare papers hain na to hum log raat me late tak padh rahe the."

"are sahil tu kab se padhne lag gaya" asked jai chewing his paratha

"jab se aap breakfast karne lag gaye."

Jai glared him back. All started laughing. Jai aaj tum office nahi jaoge kya?

"nahi aditya aaj main ghar par reh kar kaam karoonga. " as he said this he looked towards bani. He was happy looking at the shine in her eyes as he said that.

He went to his study room . aal the day both were busy in their cores . in the evening bani was going towards the study when she heard anu crying. As she opened the door she saw jigyasa and anu hugging each other. Jigyasa was asking anu if she is happy. They were having a lovely mother daughter scene . jai was coming out of his study when he saw bani watching the scene. Bani went to the room moved to the balcony at looked out . jai entered the room . he saw bani standing by the window . he called her . getting no response from her he walked to her put his hands on her shoulder. Jerking from her thoughts she turned and saw him watching her intently. He wiped the tears and asked her "bani kya hua" .

"kuch nahi jai, aap kab aaye. Aap baithiye main aapke liye coffee laati hoon. She was about to walk past him he held her wrist and turned her towards him

"maa ki yaad aa rahi hai na.?"

She was hell shocked. How this man can read her mind

"haan bas wo aise hi. Aaj didi aur anu ko dekha to mujhe mere purane din yaad aa gaye jab meri maa hamare saath thi. " she said crying.

"bani tum ro mat. Kya unhe achha lagega jab wo tumhe rote hue dekhengi. "

Bani just hugged him ."jai aap wada kijiye aap mujhe chod k kabhi nahi jaayenge "

" kabhi nahi. Agar tum chahogi na tab bhi nahi."

Bani looked at him he placed a kiss on her forehead. They held each other . after like few minutes bani released herself from him and said"aap neeche aa jaiye main khana lagati hoon".

She left for the dinner every body came for the dinner except jai she went to call him and saw that he is sleeping. She put the quilt over him placed a kiss on his forehead and then went downstairs to tell everyone that he is asleep. Meanwhile jai was not sleeping he was just relaxing . he felt someone kissing him and without opening his eyes he knew who it was. He smiled and started to think that" am I in love . is this love. Do I love bani. Thinking all this he really went to sleep.

After dinner bani came in the room changed and moved inside the quilt.during midnight jai got awake . he was feeling hungry since he has not eaten his dinner. He went to kitchen and was about to open the fridge he felt hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw bani standing there.

"aammmmmmmmm ,…….. bani wo…"

"don't say anything jai, I know you are hungry I have prepared apple pie and chocolate pudding and has kept it for you. You wait I will give it to you. She opened fridge took out and gave to him. They were sitting quietly suddenly lights of the kitchen was on. They were shocked to see dadi standing there. Dadi was also shocked to see them in the kitchen

"are dadi aap is waqt yahan kya kar rahi hain."

"main to ice cream khane aayi thi tum dono yahan kya kar rahe ho"

"dadi maine khana nahi khaya tha to mujhe bheek lagi thi . bani mujhe khane ko de rahi thi par aapko ice cream nahi khani chahiye . aapki tabiyat kharab ho jayegi. "

"oye chup kar agar main ice cream nahi khaoongi to zaroor kharab ho jayegi. Aur tu akele kyun kha raha hai. Bani ne bhi to khana nahi khaya usko bhi khila apne saath"

Jai was shocked to hear this he saw bani and well she was blushing

"he took a spoon full and fed to bani. Bani tum bhuki kyun rahi?"

"aapne bhi to khana nahi khaya na" they were talking not realizing that dadi was still in the kitchen. Dadi took out a bowl of icecream and then went away singing"aankhon hi aankhon me ishara ho gaya"

They both saw dadi going and burst out laughing. After finishing the pudding and pie they headed towards their room. Reaching room jai stopped bani

"bani tum theek se kha bhi nahi sakti kya? Dekho tumhaare hothon par abhi bhi pudding lagi hui hai"

Saying this he brushed his thumb on her lips. Shiver went down her spine and she closed her eyes . jai saw her expression and he also started to feel same like bani brushing his thumb."

He then caressed her cheeks . suddenly there was a loud thunder and both came out of the reviere.they looked into each others eyes

"goodnight bani"said jai kissing her cheeks

"goodnight jai"

Both went to sleep thinking about each other.

Part 12

A week went by . everything was normal except jai and bani. They started realizing that the relation which they have named as friendship is not a mere friendship. Its way beyond it.

In his office he was thinking about how bani handles each and every situation perfectly, cool and calmly. How she manages chores of house, helps rano and sahil in studies, preparing food, chatting with jigyasa , massaging dadi's and massi's feet. Above all how she handles him is beyond his imagination."oh bani, why are you in my mind everytime. Whenever , wherever I see why I find you. I love you bani".

"Love, yes bani yes I love you. I love more than anything else."

he called adi and told him about this

"what do you mean you love her . I know you love her afterall she is such a lovely girl and ofcourse your wife"

"no adi you don't understand" then jai told him about how they got married and what was decided between them

"what? Jai you fool. If you love her then my dear confess your love . don't wait. Time waits for none jai. Go tell her how much you love her "

"thanks adi you are the best."said jai happily picking his cell to call bani.

Meanwhile same time in bani's room

Bani was looking at his picture kept at the side table and was thinking "yeh mujhe kya ho raha hai? Kyun main jai k bare me sochti rehti hoon har pal. Kya yehi pyaar hai?agar yeh pushkar hai to pushkar ksaath wo kyat ha?haan haan yehi pyaar hai jo pushkar k saath tha wo sirf aur sirf attraction tha.. haan main jai se bahut pyaar karti hoon. Lekin mai unhe kahoongi nahi. Agar wo mujhse door ho gaye to. Main unke dosti k sahare hi jee loongi.. I love you jai."

Suddenly she got a call in her cell. Seeing the name "JAI" her smile widened.

"haan jai boliye,"

"bani main soch raha tha k kyu na hum log bahr chale kahin ghoomne. I mean kya tum mere saath raat ko dinner karne chalogi"said jai in one single breath. Hoping to get a positive response

Hearing him to take her out she was on cloud nine " haan jai kitne baje chalna hai bataiye"

"abhi 4 baje hai tum 7:30 tak taiyaar rehna . bi"

Bani was excited that after her confession to herself she would be spending time with jai.

Two hours went by and now it was 6:30

"kya pehnoo, " she was confused about the dress when rano came .

"di tomorrow we are having our last exam we will go and will have party tomorrow as then we will be busy in anu's marriage" seeing no response she again called

"diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

"are rano tu chilla kyun rahi hai kya hua"

"di aap kahan khoye hue ho. Itne confused kyun lag rahi ho?"

"wo main jai k saath bahar dinner pe ja rahi thi to soch rahi thi k kya pehnoo?"

"kya baat hai aaj to mamaji bade romantic ho rahen hai?"seeing bani blushing she suggested "di aap pink wali sarree pehno you look gorgeous in it. Main ja rahi hoon kuch chahiye to bata dijiyega"

Bano got dressed by the time she got ready jai was already home. He went upstairs as he opened the door he stood there shocked and astonished. He saw bani standing there adjusting her pallu . her back was towards him . he saw her reflection in the mirror. She was looking breathtaking beautiful with silver earings . on her neck she was wearing his mangalsutra her wrist was full of bangles which made his heart flip a beat."

He came near her and whispered " you are looking beautiful bani" winked and move to take shower. Bani was startled by his action and she kept looking at his retreating back.

He came out wearing his suit (black ofcourse) asked bani to move. They were coming dowbstairs when they met aditya and jigyasa.

"kya baat hai bani aaj tum dono kahi ja rahe ho kya?" asked jigyasa before bani could say anything jai said"di hum log bahar dinner karne ja rahen hai hamara wait mat karna"

Jai reached his favourite restaurant . he asked bani what will she take she said

"aaj main aapki pasand ka khaoongi. Jo aap chahe order kar lijiyega".

Jai placed the order. He then started thinking about how to confess

Bai main tumse kuch kehna chahta hoon

"ji kahiye"

"tum bura to nahi manogi na. aur wada karo hamari dosti par bhi iska koi fark nahi padega"

"ji main bura nahi manoongi aap kahiye.." she got a hope that may be jai also like her

"bani main ." as he was saying this suddenly he saw something and he froze. He saw his past wandering over there. He saw his ex-girlfriend roshni overthere with her boyfriend.

Bani looked at the direction in which he was looking and saw a beautiful girl laughing with a boy

She asked jai "jai , what happened? Aap kuch kehne wale the na"

"nahi kuch nahi bani, dekho khana aa gaya chalo pehle khana kha lete hain phir chalet hain".

She became sad. She thought about what suddenly happened to him. Is that girl has to do something with him.

They had their dinner in complete silence and moved out of the hotel. Sitting in the car he asked bani can we take a ride to the beach

"sure jai"

Journey again to the beach was silent. They reached the beach . jai parked the car move to the beach and sat on the rock. Bani looked at him with a confused look went towards him and kept her hand on his shoulder. As soon as she kept her hand jia turned around and hugged her tightly keeping his head on her stomach.startled by this she froze for a moment and the keep caressing his hair . after few minutes she asked

"jai. Kya hua kuch baat hai to bataiye . dekhiye pareshaani baantne se kam hoti hai. Aap mujhe dost maante hain na to apni pareshaani nahi bata sakte kya? Boliye na kya baat hai"

He looked at her stared deep into her eyes turned his head and gesture her to sit besides him. She sat on the rock beside him and waited for him to tell her what's the matter.

"bani mera ek past hai jo maine aaj tak tumhe nahi bataya. Main roshni naam ki ladki se pyaar karta tha. Hum college main saath me padhte the. Humne bahut din saath me guzaare .ek din maine use propose kiy aur usne haan kar di. Hamari shadi bhi tai ho gayi thi. Par shadi se 1 hafte pehle engagement k din wo humsab ko bina bataye chod k chali gayi. Usne ek letter likha jisme usne likha tha k wo modeling me apna career banana chahti hai aur shadi k liye taiyaar nahi. Main toot gaya tha bani. Mujhe is baat ka gham nahi k wo mujhe chod k chali gayi. Par is baat ka gham hai k usne mujhe bina kuch bataye gayi. Wo mujhse kehtio to sahi."

"uske baad maine kabhi use nahi dekha . aaj bhi jab sochta hoon to lagta hai k shayad main pyaar k kabil nahi".

Bani kept her hand on his mouth." Jai aisa phir kabhi mat kahiyega. Kisne kaha k aap pyaar k kabil nahi. Wo uski badkismati k usne aapke jaisa pyaar karne wala khoya hai. Aap jisse bhi pyaar karenge wo bahut hi khushnaseeb hogi. "

She hold his hands and placed a soft kiss on his palms.

"jai, sab ka ek attet hota hai. Mujhe aapse koi shikayat nahi"

she said and hugged him.he hugged her back.after few minutes jai released her and looked deep into her eyes . he kept his hands on her cheeks and caressed it bani closed her eyes. He then traced the outline of her lips with his thumb. Bani's breathing became heavier . he then tilted his head and kissed her trembling lips. Shiver went down her spine. She holded his shoulder for support.

"kiss me back bani" jai pleaded and bani then lost all her selfcontrol. She kissed him back with equal passion. She opened her mouth and let jai kiss her. First he was soft and gentle and then slowly the kiss became intense and passionate. They broke the kiss to breath. He saw her flushed face and eyes closed.

Coming near her he whispered " I love you bani" bani jerked and opened her eyes. Tears stared to well up in her eyes

"I love you bani. Aaj bhi main tumse yehi kehna chata tha par roshni ko dekha to mujhe purani baatein yaad aa gayi. Main sirf tumse pyaar karta hoon. Roshni ab meri zindagi me koi maayene nahi rakhti. Agar tum mujhse pyaar nahi karti to'"

Before he could complete his sentence bani threw herself in his arms and kissed on his lips. Firt jai was startled by her sudden action . he nearly lost his balance but soon he realized what she has done. He didn't require any answer now. Her action spoke everything

After breaking apart she said" I love you too jai" looking embarrassed at her bold action

Hearing those three magical word again jai pulled her into his arms. After what seem like eternity they moved apart

"jai bahut der ho gayi hai 12 baj gaye hai ghar chalen"

Looking at her flushed face he laughed and said" haan bani ghar chalet hain abhi to bahut kaam bacha hai jo ghar chalke hi pura hoga"

Bani turned red at his statement and they moved towards car walking hand in hand.
