Kaise kahoon
For past two days it was raining heavily. She felt the nature cried along with her . She cried continuously and there were no tears left. Her face dried up with tears. She held her father's picture in her hand. She only had him and he was gone because of that man. Her jaws tightened at the thought. If it was not for him her father would be alive and with her. How could any proud man bear the insult that was showered upon him? He had been working for him for years. He had proved his loyalty in the past years. Her vision blurred. She would not forgive him never. She would kill him and she would show her father ' she broke down into a heart wrenching cry.
'Bas karo beta.. do din hogaye aur thum abhi bhi..' said her mausi patting her shoulders.
'Mausi.. mein akeli pad gayi mausi.. Bauji muje chod kar'' Bani cried.
'Shhh beta.. hum log heina thumhare liyein aur thumhara chacha bhi hien'' the lady knew chacha was just for the name sake Bani could take care of her better than him. he was good for nothing brother of Nishikant and his wife was less said the better.
'Bani puttar mein zara ghar ho kar aathi hoon.' Said her neighbor who she calls Mausi.
Bani nodded her head.
She hardly ate anything, her mausi felt bad for the girl. The anger that was building inside for Jai Walia was reaching to its peak.
He hardly visited his factory in 'Badegaon' the place where they lived. She would wait till he comes and then attack him she had no idea how she was going to do it but she would kill the man who took her father away from her the only living relative. Day and night she thought about the mighty Walia how she would attack him. She would destroy him. she would. She could still see the face of her father when he came home heartbroken. He had told her all his life he had worked sincerely for the man and it took him only an hour to accuse him off'''. Bani's face reddened with anger as she thought about it. Her father wanted to speak to administration for a job for his daughter when everything went wrong. His manager accused him of stealing from the factory fearing he would be caught any moment by Nishikant and his file would go to the Walias who was ruthless in dealing with people who were deceitful.
How dare they mistrust her father who worked day and night for the factory? They knew him and how can they dismiss him.. The insult was too much for the man he suffered an attack and passed away. Bani would never forgive them'. never.
Bani was sitting holding a paper in her room Mausi walked in with a plate filled with roti and curry she put the plate before her and said, "Bani please take food you have become too skinny ' and you know beta I hear Jai Walia has come to the guest house' Raju ne kahan ki factory mein aya tha..'
Bani looked up with a jolt. She will not waste time thinking about her sorry state she will go and meet him and kill him'.
'Bani thum sun rahein hein na.. Eat okay.' Saying that the woman left giving her one more look. Bani pulled the plate towards her made sure she ate something. Everything tasted bitter in her mouth. She had only one thing in her mind destroy Jai Walia. she finished eating cleaned the plate. Went to the kitchen and got a knife hid it in her duppatta took an umbrella and walked out of the house shutting the door. Her umbrella almost flew in the wind. The rain was heavy almost drenching her. She held the knife tightly and walked towards the guest house in determination. As she reached the mud path her feet slipped she fell on the mud path the umbrella slipped from her hand another wind blew the thing away. She got up clutching the knife and walked towards the guest house the weather was worsening and it was getting darker.
The guest house was lit with candles. The power was cut off. He looked out of the window and groaned. 'God! How am I going to get out of this weather?' he looked at his assistant and said, 'Mahesh, I can't stay back I need to be in Mumbai and you take care of the problem and call me if anything important.'
Mahesh his assistant nodded his head and groaned inward, what tight spot but there was no escaping this night from here. He had to do what was asked for. 'Sir how do you think you will go? The weather has worsened and it is difficult to see the road properly and ..'
'I need to go Mahesh I'll take care and please see the dispute is settled okay.' He took the keys from the table and left the room. He got into his four wheel drive and took off.. like Mahesh had warned the vision was difficult. The vehicle jumped most of the time and he was cautious. His cell phone buzzed and he attended the call.
Bani walked in the darkness with only one aim. She had to keep up her strength to take the mud path further. Most of the time she slipped and it was that moment she saw a vehicle approach the road. She did not have a place to move wooden fences and wild plants were on the sides she tried to get past one of the plant she slipped. Bani did not remember what happened she was hit with a heavy object before she could realize what was happening her vision clouded and darkness filled.
Jai put his feet on the break he felt something was hit. He disconnected the call and opened the door. The rain drenched his dress he switched on the headlights took the torch from the car and walked to the front. Jai almost had an attack at the sight, with trembling feet he bend down near the bonnet and touched bundle of clothing. With trembling fingers he turned the cloth and gasped. He had hit a girl.
