As soon as they walked out of Jai's office, Pushkar gave Bani a high-five….congratulating her and welcoming her into the company….teasing her that now she would have to work really hard….
Mai hu na tumhara boss, Pushkar will make sure that tum teek kaam karte ho ya nahi…ek dum kadi nazar rakunga tum par….
And so Bani was hired, now she felt that she was further bound to Jai…much to her annoyance…

Chapter 4
Bani was glad that she had a job but not very happy where she had the job…
Kaha phaas gayi mei…
She was just so unsure whether she would be happy working for Mr. Walia…though; she was not sure how much interaction she would really have with the big boss …
…..kya pharak padta hai.. mei to waise bhi jadatar Pushkar our uske team ke saath hi to kaam karungi….
She was going to start working the very next day, since, of course, Mr.Walia did not believe in wasting any time…Kal se join kar lena….he had commanded her…
Rano, Pia and even Masi were eagerly waiting for her to come back….Seeing her walking in with a sullen face, none of them wanted to ask her how she fared in her interview...Bani had a big frown on her face…
Masi quickly got up saying
Bani, Chai piyogi beta....bhook lag gayi hogi na….chalo mei kuch nashta leke aati hu…you sit and chat with Pia and Rano…trying not to show her concern…
Ha Masi, lekin aap betiye, mei hi chai aur nashta lekar aati hu…
Pia, Rano and Masi decided not to ask Bani anything and were planning on how to cheer Bani up….now they believed that Bani has not got the job…she had looked so dejected and sad…
Kuch nahi puchna usko…agar khud kuch bataye to teek hai….warned Masi..
Di…koye bat nahi agar aap ko job nahi mili to…you can always try somewhere else….blurted out Pia upon seeing Bani come out with a tray in her hand…
Rano had a worried look…she just went and gave Bani a hug....
While Masi was thinking… Yeh Munna bhi na…apne usulo par atka reheta hai…what's wrong in bending the rules a little bit…de deta bacchi ko naukri..to kya pharak padta…
Bani looked a little amused toward the three
Who told you that I did not get the job…??
Mujhe job to mil gayi and I start tomorrow… she gave a dimpled smile …
Masi was very happy and pulled Bani towards the Mandir in the house….lets go and take God's blessings….Mujhe to pata hi tha ki tumhe naukri to mil hi jayegi….bus thodi si phikar ho rahi thi beta….ki kahi tu udhas hoke na laute…
Masi had felt very sorry for the sisters, she could sense their sadness in having lost both their parents so young...she had decided in her mind that she would do everything that she could to make it easy for the girls to settle in.. She was just as excited as Rano and Pia that Bani had got the job…
She told Bani that she would make something sweet to celebrate Bani having gotten the job…
Bani felt tears in her eyes and was touched by Masi's happiness for them…bending down to touch her feet taking Masi's blessings..
Masi, of course, pulled Bani up and hugged her saying that never feel that you are alone…
Hum saab hai na tumhare saath…tumhari kushiya bhi batenge or tumhare duk bhi…
Masi, who was a very loving person had tried to keep everybody in the house together….she was able to understand and see Jigyasa's love for her brother and her children through her nasty barbs, she was able to see Aditya's tolerance and acceptance of Jigyasa because he loved her so much …she had even felt Jai's loneliness….even with so many people living in the house….
What started with Masi making besan ladoo as a sweet dish, ended up with Bani making dinner for the evening and halwa for desert afterwards…
Seeing all the youngsters hanging together Bani said…
Ranveer, Anu tum Rano aur Pia ko kal le jaoge na apne saath….to get their college admission done..
Yes Banidi said Anu….don't worry we will take care of it….
Rano had a worried expression…she was really worried about going into a new environment, not sure how the students in this big city would be, would she?? could she??...become a part of the crowd??
Arre Rano….why are you so worried?? Ranveerbhai hai na…koi kuch nahi karega…Bhai senior jo hai...sab thoda sa darte hai unse...bilkul nahi chedenge tumhe…she said with a big grin..
Bus mere saath raho....I will introduce you to all my friends and then you just hang out with us....kuch nahi hoga…now don't worry so much ... just chill...Really don't worry yaar....
Arre look at me Rano, I am looking forward to the new adventure… meeting new people….making new friends...isme darne ki kya baat hai?...says Pia.
Pia being Pia wants to look into getting admission in to a Fashion Design Institute….would not listen to anybody……She knew what she wanted to do and where her interests were…she knew that she would indeed do well in the field of fashion….
Banidi, ek baar admission mil jaye….bus dekhna ek ek ki chooti kar dungi….aise aise designs banougi ke sab log dekhte reh jayenge….you just wait and watch…
Aditya came back just in time for dinner with his mother, having picked her up from the railway station… she had gone visiting her relatives in Punjab..….Daadi was a very interesting character…very vocal about her feelings…much to Jigyasa's annoyance…calling Bani…Rani Mukherjee…
That night dinner was a festive affair with Aditya praising the food to no end, much to his wife's annoyance…
Wa wa…aaj to khane ka kuch aur hi maaja hai…said Aditya…
Bani, pass me the halwa…I want another helping of it…lo lo jai…tum bhi lo…this is so delicious…
Dadi too ate an extra roti because she liked the taste of the paneer makhani that Bani had cooked…
Masi looked on with a smile on her face, happy that everybody was together at the dinner table.…. enjoying themselves.
Jai was amused to see so much noise at the dinner table unlike other nights when dinner was a quiet affair…
Ranveer and Pushkar trying to outdo each other trying to catch the girls' attention and Anu just happy that she had three new friends to talk to….
Jigyasa….of course annoyed that the girls had only been there a day and the whole atmosphere of the house had changed…she felt like she was losing control over the house…over her kids and over her husband…she wondered what was wrong with her Jaibhaiya…what was he thinking of ?? keeping these orphans in the house…
lagta hai ki abhi hum dharmashala ke saath anath ashram bhi chalane lagenge is ghar mei…
She gave Bani an annoyed glance...she worried the most about this girl…It seemed like Bani was slowly but surely making her way into everybody's heart…Masi already loved her and could not stop talking about her….the boys could not keep away from her….already trying to get her opinion about things…Aditya already treating her like his daughter, Daadi having just met Bani was already talking to her like a long lost friend…and Jaibhaiya…??? what was he thinking?? What was he feeling??? All she saw was the amused expression…was it tolerance or was there more to it…was she is seeing more than what really was?? Was she seeing a spark of interest there??
She knew that she had to nip this at the bud… she had to do something…anything to get the girls out of the house…thought Jigyasa restlessly..

Now with so many people happy that she had found a job, Bani started getting excited about going to work. She had to report to work at 9 AM, but had barely slept with the excitement… She woke up early getting ready. She saw that both Masi and Daadi were already in the pooja room and were doing the aarti. She joined them there and took the aarti and the prasad from Masi. Masi and Daadi both blessed her and wished her luck with her new job.
Masi went towards the kitchen, wanting to make sure that Tony, the butler and Ramukaka the cook had started on the breakfast…and that it was almost ready…
Bani followed Masi saying…mei apki madat karti hui Masi...chaliye…
This was her way of making sure that she did a fair share of the work in the house for the three of them and that way no one would have an opportunity of pointing fingers at her or her sisters..
Everybody was at the table waiting for Jai who came down all ready to go to work…
While getting ready to leave Pushkar said to Bani
Bani, jao chaldi se tayar ho jao… aj tumhara pehela din hai…chalo mere saath ride kar lo...hotel tak
Nahi Pushkar…..mei Rickshaw leke chali jaoogi...I don't want other people working there to think that I got the job based on the fact that I know the owners of the company…please samjho na….I want them to know me as Bani…one of them...working alongside them..
…Ha Pushkar, Bani is right…

So saying, Bani went upstairs to get ready to go to work…
While leaving she told Pia and Rano….Make sure you pray before you leave today...take God's blessing...sambhal ke jaana…I will talk to you guys in the evening…let me know what happens then….
Rano: Good Luck Di!!
Pia: Don't worry Di.. Anu and Ranveer are with us..so no problems..
Masi looked on Bani thinking what a matured girl she is for her age…
While Jigyasa thought…yeh Bani to badi smart nikli…look how she is behaving to portray herself to be different from others….naukri lete waqt bhool gayi….who the owner is…abhi ride lete waqt she remembers??
