Hello

I have decided to continue with the fan fic after the PM's and feed backs I have received. But once again I would like to apologize if I have offended any ones intellectual property.

And the part which was utilized in the last chapter which was influenced by the on line read I have edited the entire part. So now I think the matter is solved. And as for the story I am not sure which parts resemble. So please do let me know if any thing has to be edited in future. And I had done that unknowingly. Thank you all for the encouraging comments

Here's chapter 20

Bani was revealed that no one noticed her absence through out the night. She had gone with Massi for the pooja in the temple. But then while dressing up her friend Rano had caught on her secret.

Rano: Bani where were you last night?

Bani was now shocked did her friend know something. She was sleeping in the guest room. Did she see her coming from the lawn early in the morning? She was in a state of trance and not responding. Seeing her face Rano knew something was fishy and the marks on her neck was also a proof to that.

Rano: Hey I asked you something. So where was princess last night?

Bani: why with Massi sleeping.

Rano that's kind of hard to believe considering that you were up early before all of us.

Bani: who told you that?

Rano: Well if the person who doesn't get out of the bed without the whole house coming down on her was out of bed before the sun came up would create quite a stir.

Bani: It is a big day for me and I couldn't sleep you could say that I was nervous.

Rano: Give me a break here Bani what do you take me for a fool or what.

Bani: Why?

Rano: You and nervous. You have been living with your so called husband for more than six months now. And now you are getting nervous when you are just putting up a show for the entire world to see.

Bani: There is a difference from before and now.

Rano: Ya tell me like what.

Bani: You wouldn't understand. Get married.

Rano: Oh please let me first settle down and get a guy and I don't see that happening for another decade.

Bani: By then you will be old maid.

Rano: Everyone doesn't get to be child bride like you.

Bani: I am not a kid. Why do I have to remind that to everyone?

Rano: Fine then tell me why do you sneak up and lie to your best friend. First time I forgave you.

Bani: oh god you would never let me forget that I had not told about the wedding.

Rano: Ya it's an insult to your best friend. You got married and I had to literally drag the truth out of you. Now also you are not willing to say.

Bani: Say what.

Rano: What were you up to last night? Because the marks on your skin defiantly is not caused by any allergy. So think of something better than that to fool me even though I don't even have a boy friend.

Bani: Gosh it's so difficult to keep a secret from you. Fine I was with him and now please don't announce it tot eh world.

Rano: So what do I get to keep your secret?

Bani: Gosh are you my friend or enemy.

Rano: You choose as of now I'm your secret keeper even your husband knows that.

Bani: I wonder how come through the phone calls you both got so close. He says you are the cute friend I have (Chashme wali)

Rano: Please that's reserved for your husband to call. And are we jealous here that he thinks I'm cute.

Bani: Who me. No ways after all I am his angel and no one comes that close to him.

Rano: Please not again one of those monologues of yours praising him.

Their friendly banter is interrupted by Massi seeing than the both girls are not ready its time for the phera and the hair stylist is waiting for Bani to come and do up the hair.

The wedding was grand affair. The bride was absolutely gorgeous in her Magenta lehanga and Jai who was watching her coming down the steps actually felt that he had stopped breathing and reached heaven. All he could think off was when he could have her alone all to himself.

And he gave her a knowing smile. Bani just tired to look away as she knew she must be now red as a tomato from blushing and she is never going to hear the end of the teasing from all her friends and not to forget the two nut cases that hover around her.

But for Jai it was a long torturing affair as immediately after the wedding the rasams were done. Then they had to get ready for the reception in the evening and Bani had to go to the hotel and she was in the par lour there while Jai was surrounded with his associates and friends. The party which started late after the press conference was a never ending affair and Bani was truly enjoying Jai's frustration.

When they were dancing then only Jai got to get close to his wife and Bani got the moment to pay back for last nights ran devour.

Bani was resting her head on Jai's chest and slowly swaying to the music. She knew this close with him. And right in the middle of the dance floor he could do nothing.

Jai: Bani I have always warned you never start a game which you cannot end.

Bani: May be I do not want to end it. And Mr. Walia there is a saying Patience pays.

Jai: So my wife is back to the cat and mouse game. But after the party its honeymoon time sweet heart and you will have to pay dearly for all this. And I play to win

Bani: Hm that's why I call you Jeet the winner and who said I'm not willing to pay the price. But I would like to see how you can get us out of this circus.

Jai: Stop giving me that look. I might just carry you off from the party.

Bani: Oh no Mr. Walia I don't think so we have room full of guests and not to forget the press and also our darling relatives how can we spoil the image.

Jai: To hell with the image in one hour's time we will be out of here. This is your Jeet promising you.

And true to his words after an hour Jai just declared that he was sorry to leave his own party as he had a plane waiting to take him and his bride to the honeymoon destination. To say that Bani was mortified was the least she never though Jai would do something like that. He was cool and sophisticated never did anything adventure or abrupt he always had back up plans. Bani just stood looking at him when he held her hand and said Let s go sweet angle Pay back starts now for the weeks of torture you have put me though. Not that she would mind.

Their honey moon was on the sandy beaches of Goa. But she got to enjoy the beach only form the room for the first three days. As Jai loved to keep her in the room or rather in bed in his arms. But on the fourth day Bani put her foot down.

She rushed into the bathroom first thing in the morning and had the door securely locked or else she knew like every morning jai would join her and it would be back to bed.

She came out dressed only to see Jai was lazing around in bed.

Bani: Mr. Walia I'm going and I will be in the restaurant down having breakfast. You got half hours time to join me and she left the room stomping her feet.

No amount of coaxing was going to get her back into the room. And he didn't mind enjoying one day on the beach with his wife.

But Jai being himself said if she wanted to laze around in the sand she properly cover herself up. Bani sat down on the beach mat sulking saying that he was soil sport.

But Jai said that his wife was not a show piece. From past experiences she knew this always led to a fight between them. So she played along with Jai. But then in the evening Jai took her shopping and to the local market. They got on to a Ferris wheel and she enjoyed the cotton candy with him. Something's which he never imagined he would ever do in his life. Yes Bani brought out the human side in him. She taught him to be kid again and there's more to life and to enjoy every moment you get.

After a week in Goa. They headed back to Bombay were Bani got her self enrolled for the next semester in the college. She and Jai finally decided to complete the semester in the old college much to Bani's relief. She was not sure of the college in Bombay. It was another ball game totally. She was scared of again trying to fit in. But Jai ensured everything would go great. Jai always tried to install confidence in her and to do new things in her spare time.

Bani was just settling into the new life in Bombay and the new college when the next turn came in her life.

She was feeling queasy in the mornings and felt tired quickly. The other day she just threw up the entire dinner after the party. Jai said it's because she eats too much of those desserts. Too which she sulked and cried. Finally Jai had to tell her sorry he just didn't fell it was healthy. To which she had just one thing to say I'm not old like you. Their teasing finally ended up the usual way.

But today in college she was feeling giddy and so she asked the driver to come early and pick her up. Jai came to know of that so he had personally come to take hr and he made an appointment too with the doctor.

Bani was like mad how did he do all that without consulting her.

Jai: My wife is sick and I am entitled to take care of her. So stop throwing tantrums and I know you hate hospitals so let's just go there and finish it off quickly.

Bani: And tell the doctor what?

Jai: Well off late you throw up. Then you feel giddy you don't eat proper breakfast saying that you are feeling nausea. Every morning you change the menu and Tony has to run around so let's get to the bottom of it today.

Bani very reluctantly goes with him.

As the doctor starts to question Bani on personal things she feels quite embarrassed like when was her last period. Its not like Jai didn't know about it she felt odd discussing this with a third person in front of her husband.

But after the test reports had come in it was shocking for both of them. She was pregnant.

to tell the truth, i did not expect this news... bani pregnant????? i am mad at jai... this isnt fair...

another question, then what happened to the baby? did it get aborted?
