Perfect.

Starting from the start, I will say that I was not really a fan of the scene where Duryodhan Uruvi have a face off in front of poisoned Karn. I don't ever want them to talk because I don't ever want a possibility to arise where Karn has to choose Duryodhan over Uruvi, as if we don't already have enough conflicts because of Duryodhan. Raising his hand on Uruvi scene was a big No from my side.
I loved Urvi's dialogue to Duryodhan as to how he's dependent on Arjun for his own happiness. 👏
And I didn't get the Duryodhan or Urvi vibe from the scene actually. I got two vibes from this scene.
1. Karn's glorification, that I have no problems with as yet, coz the slap scene was used mainly to show how righteous Karn is, IMO. 😆
2. Karn's one up over Shakuni again. I read the reviews of the book, and in it Karn hates Shakuni, so I am guessing they are following that. I am genuinely concerned that Shakuni will try driving a wedge between DY-Karn.

The hand holding while taking her to Karavaas was totally unnecessary but so so cute. I wanted a scene where they show him actually taking her hand and "uss oar mei iss oar tu" playing in background 😆 but alas that was not there.

Exactly. Half their cute scenes are unnecessarily but super cute so no qualms. 😆 I think the song should have played when she was inside the prison and he was outside .😆

The prison talk was THE best. Him finally explaining his drishtikon. It is like a light bulb hit directly atop her and all that he was doing made sense to her. It was also quite unpredictable because here we have been thinking that she will help him keep his conscience clean but turns out that it is not at all about the conscience, it is about point of views and doing what is right for you. This is something very crucial in being his Sangini. Without conflict of thought.

Exactly. This difference in point of view was extremely crucial. I am glad it wasn't Karn's loyalty VS right here, but Karn's right Vs Urvi's right. And both need not coincide. There was a quote earlier in the Forum, in the Respect thread. That's most relevant here I believe. But like Aunty posted somewhere, Karn is superbly capable, at least as of now, to justify his actions, defend them and portray them in a manner that conveys it's right. And it seems right, even to me. He seems no way drowned in guilt or misplaced duty. 👏

Duryodhan mentioning a possible Arjun Uruvi alliance casually is also not what I wanted😆 I mean till now Karn has known that Uruvi and Arjun are friends, what with being his saarthi and giving him gemstones but this direct revelation could have come later in a more dramatic moment😆 Again Karn giving a lesson to Duryodhan about Mitrata is not upradh. We should tots have thread for Karn's lessons to Duryodhan titled "How to be a man - from Mitra to Mitra"😆

I agree. The past three episodes have elevated Karn's status from best friend to best man. 😆 I love these lessons anyway. Especially this scene, Karn is so confident of himself, in fact his slight smile also had a faint tinge of arrogance. 😉 I have a feeling Karn is gonna convince DY to free Urvi too. It's just my gut. And did you notice the transition from the earlier episode when he tells DY he's wrong, he's slightly hesitant, in the chariot scene, to now when he's oozing with confidence. 😉
Also the Duryodhan fan in me was amazed when he coolly commented, he could see concern for Urvi in Karn's eyes. I genuinely wanna know if he's gonna support Karn in his love or go against it. Either ways I think he'd be amazing. 😳

Also in serials it is common for hero heroine to have some fun banter but here we are, Arjun and Karn engaging in cute nok-jhok which has Arjun all tensed up but a hint of smile on Karn's face😆It's like he knows he is pulling his lil bro's leg.

Again, I think this scene was unnecessary but Karn's arrogance and swag was so awesome, I could only find entertainment..
😆 Karn is giving a lot of those I am supreme smirks these days. 😆

Also is Karn strolling around in the fire lit pathways all night?

I swear! And moreover, why is everyone else in the palace missing? Is it only Karn who's responsible for security? Don't make Karn multipurpose vehicle. 😆
Let him he special purpose vehicle. And I have major issues with the absence of other major characters. Vidur, Yudhishtra, Bheema. Secondly, DY's enemy is Bheema. And Karn's enemy Arjun. This your enemy is my enemy idea where DY is so keen on upsetting Arjun isn't going down well with me. Where is your enmity with Bheem? 😆

Anyways, Arjun and Bhanumati rescuing Uruvi was heroic and I really liked it. What Bhanu did makes me want to hug her. She might have been mean but her move for Uruvi's sake was commendable. Duryodhan might have silenced Bhanu in front of others but she won eventually. They are truly a match. He needs someone who plays dirty like him.

I didn't like this scene actually. There are way too many bloopers. Why does Arjun need keys to break open a lock? His arrows aren't enough? Secondly, Bhanu and Arjun had a major Tiff and now they are in one team? Okay, acceptable. But I'd have rather seen BM falling for DY after his vachan etc. Now Karn's mahaan Prem speech is rendered futile. However, I do agree with you that DY needs someone his equal who won't stop from playing dirty games with him. That's an amazing point. In fact I find the entire prison idea weird. Why imprison her? What was Shakuni's point? 😕 She'll run away? Firstly she isn't a coward, secondly if she does run away, doesn't it prove, she's guilty? Thirdly, DY can't approach his Dad and Bheeshm the same time coz it's an emergency?
And so much is happening and literally no one else is around?
😆 But since we got an amazing hand holding scene, I still accept.

Urvi giving Arjun the drishtikon talk was cute, like Karn's words really made sense to her but I want her to be more thankful of Arjun. Sure they are friends but don't treat Arjun like a typical friendzoned dude.

True. Paavam Arjun. Eternally friendzoned. I wish she gives him a little more importance. He deserves it I think.

I forgot to mention Uruvi's reminiscing of Karn's touch😳 during poisoning and after dropping her to Karavaas. Our gurl got it bad😳

I loved it too. I loved Karn's costume in the Precap too. 😳

-Aileen❤️

PS - Thanks everyone for liking my picture analysis "Besotted", I will do those when I am truly enchanted by an episode.

My replies are in Bold. I'll comment here too, Aileen. I loved your stories on Prithvi Vallabh Forum. I hope and wish you write some here too .😳 And I loved your analysis too.
I think you can do that for a week maybe? Coz we did get some awesome scenes. Like her reminiscence, the hand holding scene. The Bhashan scene in BM's room.

P. S. Thanks for editing the title. 😛

Yeah, they showed a full moon today. I hope they don't forget it. 🥱 Coz I am looking forward to see how Karn gets the Ratn.
Secondly, I think Urvi's actions have resulted in this mess for BM. Her Noble intentions of saving BM are down the drain now. What the hell is she gonna achieve by saving her now? BM is already submitted herself to DY, and she's bound to him now. At least in those days that's how it was. Not necessarily today.
She could have adopted a more neutral path instead of becoming an activist. Karn had bought her more time. But no, she had to step in get embroiled in the mess and in turn, BM felt obligated to bail her friend out and this mess happened.
I kinda blame Urvi for this.

- wasnt sure if Karn was sleeping or reclining in his bed, it looked pretty odd
- dont know if Urvi was in a bit of lala land all these days with her heady encounters or she was so focussed in her mission I just didnt feel the attraction / infatuation during the episode yesterday nor today :(
- the poor boy was just poisoned , no one else in Hastinapur eh to take Urvi to the prison ;)
- yes !! it was a full moon :( :( I hope it was some error and the gem isnt forgotten , nothing annoys me more than the creatives forgeting poignant moments and conversations
- Duryodhan revealing to Karn that Urvi may marry Arjun, I know a lot of people have issues with Karn s expressions but I have noted nothing in those eyes which tell me he is even remotely attracted to her , probably thinks she is being very childish stubborn pushy ( from his drishtikon lol) but I would hope this effectively seals any feelings from developing . I would personally hate Karn going to the swayamvar all heartbroken (with a smirking Arjun) thinking that he would never be Urvi s choice.
- The entire Arjun angle is puzzling me ! He seems to be all over Urvi & Karn how are they ever going to show how he went ahead and married Draupadi and if they get Urvi s swayamwar in first , why would Karn go to to Draupadi s !
- The best scene for me was Urvi feeling her wrist and thinking of Karn

Cant wait for Monday

According to Kavita's book, I guess Draupadi Swayamwar happens first. I was reading reviews yesterday.
Idk how they are gonna show all that. I hope they don't screw it up .

I somehow feel that Duryodhan will be a cheerleader of sorts for the Karn-Urvi love story. He is already super impressed by Karna's high thoughts about love and emotions. As someone mentioned elsewhere, maybe Duryodhan has never gotten this exposure or guidance about the finer points of life before. What Karna tells him is indeed a novelty and the way he decided to honor his promise to Bhanumati showed that there is a part of him that can be fair when he wants to.

It's nice to see other characters play an important role in the story than just being lead-centric, which is the mistake a lot of PHs make and the show becomes monotonous. I also hope his relationship with Bhanumati doesn't fade into the background. There's a spark in there and the actors are buiding their chemistry slowly, which is good. The two characters are indeed made for each other. Now that Bhanumati is beginning to understand Duryodhan's mentality, she will play him to her advantage from time to time, I think. 😉

I am actually liking this Duryodhan character more and more. I love his interactions with Karna and if things keep progressing like this, the actor and character are going to get a lot of fans!

Wow. This is a perspective I never considered. That DY listens to Karn coz he's never been reasoned out with in this manner and what Karn tells him is novel and new to him. I think he was genuinely impressed when Karn spoke to him about Prem and shit. His facial expressions showed that. I love Paras Chabra. His Duryodhan is one of the best in recent times. Nuanced, arrogant, swaggered, very very vain, and callous and cruel but can tone himself when he wants to. Also, idk if he'll like Karn Urvi. He could like it so as to to get back at Arjun but also dislike it coz he hates Urvi. I also love how he calls her Uddhand Urvi, more like a cousin addressing another cousin he dislikes. 😆

I hope so too. I think the chemistry is amazing👏. I like it that they give importance to these people. But I am not liking the unimportance meted out to other important characters. Like Vidur, Yudhishtra, Bheeshm.

I LOVE THIS DURYODHAN. 😉 Tell me about it. I find some way to praise him every episode. And he is praise worthy.

I liked your post yes it is all about Points of view what is right for one maybe wrong for the other.
I for one was not impressed by Friday's episode.
Arjun almost was like a carricature sprouting the same dialogues with the same expression. Liked Karna stopping Duryodhan from raising his hand at Uruvi. Uruvi seems to already not like Duryodhan so was extremely defensive maybe this is my bias towards Duryodhan in this show
Karna holding uruvis hand almost seemed forced scene and long .
Liked the dialogue about different points of view I think this will be the underlying theme in Karna and Uruvi relationship, though they may love each other they will always have different points of view. It is ok to have different points of view but when it really matters a couple needs to have similar ones..this aspect may be the bone of contention in this relationship.
Duryodhan was being a gentleman but I did not like Bhanunathi approach she soiled the relationship between a husband and wife atleast that was my opinion. I was looking forward to seeing how their relationship would blossom now not so thrilled.
I have already written a book

I was not impressed with this episode.

Everyone in a PALACE, is roaming around at midnight, like larks lost in moonlight. How did Arjuna even enter Dury's & Urvi's room, without any permission? That is not a common household!

Bhaanumati - while I respect her for what she did, how can any woman love a man like that? Forget their chemistry. Had he said absolute no to her all advances, and set Urvi free, it would've made any sense to me if she falls in love with him in future. What she did was suicidal! I cannot praise enough the actress here. Her measured expressions are unparalleled. It was slightly painful for me to watch that scene.

You are right but if dury acts like that he won't be considered a villain there. Also the show is set in Mahabharata times. Girls didn't have many choices then. Bhanu maybe don't wanna end like amba. She said circumstances made her surrender, I think in such times it's better for her to control him and rule over him. Just my opinion. I watched hurrem and kosem ruling their spouses just like that. They both were kidnapped and made slaves. At least bhanu is treated like a princess. I guess it's mahanta of Indian values.😲
Regarding chemistry it's weird to me because I kinda wanna see more of them. Their chemistry make their scenes interesting no matter how lousy they are.
Wish aashim had chemistry with tejaswi. He looks like a robot.

It was very painful. I couldn't stand it. It reminded me of Guy de Maupassant's Bel Ami, where a woman surrenders herself to a bandit to get him to free a bus full of passengers.

Then the key thing was ludicrous. How did Bhanumati know which key it was? Or that Arjun was looking for Uruvi ?.And as Najma pointed out, why would Arjun need a key anyway? He could have shot out the lock with an arrow!

No character in this show behave like anyone from MB times.😆 Controlling Dury and ruling him, that is a possibility. I hope he asks forgiveness in some future. They do have chemistry. I only meant that I couldn't look at it when I looked at her expressions.
