Now Shahrukh Khan in Kareena Kareena

Recently, Abhishek Bachchan popped in for a guest appearance in one of the 'Kareena Kareena' episodes on Zee.

The channel and production house have now gone a step ahead and roped in superstar Shah Rukh Khan to prop up the show.

Prem (Shahrukh, namesake of SRK, who plays a radio jockey and Kareena's friend) will organise a meeting between Kareena (Kulraj Kaur) and SRK.

When this writer asked Zee creative head Vivek Behl to confirm if the channel is bringing in a bigger name than Abhishek, he laughed it off but sayed it all. "I know what you are referring to," he quipped.

We know for a fact that the scene was shot in Dubai, soon after 'Temptations 2004', the Zee extravaganza ended. It will be telecast in January 2005.

It is clear that Bachchan Jr's short stint helped the serial to get some sort of fillip. Apparently that's why SRK has been roped in.
