samar is shouting sayin he will kill shashank but shivs soul stops him. he says - our family has already lost one son. and if you take any wrong step then this family will lose another son. you wont get punished for killing them! gauri my kids mom and dad will! who will look after them? we will definitely punish them four but properly. support me bhaiyya. Samar agrees and cries saying how lonely the family and him are without you. shiv tries to console him.
next day...
all the family are in the living room all tense. gauri is hugging shaanti. dadi is tryin to call shanti over to her but shaanti disagrees and hugs gauri tighter. moksh smiles. he says he knows how after shiv is gone everything has gone wrong. but i promise you i will not let you miss him. jagmohan without no expression looks upto moksh. moksh continues. samar walks in saying theres no need for moksh to do all that. he looks behind angrily. im still alive. i can fulfill all of my brothers responsibilities. moksh smiles evily. nikihlla agress with samar. dadaji starts talkin about some of shivs last rituals. and says he should do this other special one."didnt quite catch the name of it" aseem asks what the ritual is for. dadi answers sayin its for when someone with responsibilities die...someone else takes their place and becomes responsible for their responsibilities now and who can look afte rthe house. we will give shivs place to samar.
machaan walks in and apologises to samar for coming at a time like this and says that if he doesnt shoot for the film then the film will be given to someone else. machaan asks him to shoot. samar disagrees. machaan asks samar to get on with his life after shivs death. shiv wont be happy to see you like that. samar looks at shiv soul and shiv tells him to go and shoot. shiv disappears.
moksh worries if samar knows anything. shashank tells him that samar cant know anything so dont worry. that other guy tells moksh that he should get shivs responsibilities because you are elder than samar. moksh agrees and says yes.
gauri is getting the kids ready and the kids start askin her wo will drop them off to school and where is shiv. shivs soul comes and is upset. gauri tells them that shiv is near. and he will play with you soon. the kids say to gauri they want to be dropped off by shiv. gauri tells them that shiv will be angry if they know your being stubborn so he wont give you chocolates. the kids tell gauri not to tell shiv and agree to go school on the bus. shivs soul cries to see gauri upset. gauri sits on the bed next to shaanti. *karam apna apna sad in the background* the family is shown all sitting down doing the rituals to give samar the responsibilities.
shiv tells samar he is getting late for the rituals at the shooting. the director sees samar talkin to no one as he cant see shiv. the director asks him who hes talkin to and samar tells him hes practising.
that guy from the gang makes a big fuss of samar being late. shashank and the others smile. nikhilla doesnt like it. the priest tells the family to hurry samar up.
samar starts to leave from shooting. the police come and say they will search the shooting place. samar cant leave the place and gets worried.
the priest gets annoyed and tells them to start the rituals. dadaji tells him to be patient as samar will be coming. shashank tells everyone that you should try and understand samar. he wants to be an actor only and today also he hasnt come. i know shivs soul will be extremely upset too. alok tells him that apart from samar who can take up the responsibilities. shashank tells hm that moksh can as moksh is the eldest son of the house. jagmohan tries to move. nikhilla gets up and refuses. nikhila says that i knw he is the eldest but he cant take shivs place. jaggys wife stands up and tells her to stop being stupid and that moksh should have the responsibvility.i know he has been bad but he has changed. and we should igve him a chance. nikhilla tells everyone that she cannot see this responsibility given to anyone else other than samar. dadaji aks mahen who can take shivs place? moksh or samar. mahen stands up and says no one. there is no one like shiv. do whatever you want. he walks away. dadji tells moksh to complete the rituals.
the police tell smar he can go. he quickly rushes away. moksh is shown sitting on the mat. nikhilla is sad. jaggy is trying to move but he cant. smaar is driving as fast as he can but the ritual has started. samar gets tense. nikhilla cries. jaggy is getting angry and tries his bet to move. a turban is put on moksh and samar has parked his car outside the house. he walks in the house and sees moksh on the mat. he is upset. everyone looks at samar.
precap - shashank is talkin to the policeman who stopped samar as is thanking him for stopping samar. the whole gang is there and so is shivs uncle. they all stop and see that gauri heard everything!!
