Brief Oct 5th Update…
The first two minutes were missing….and show starts with Gauri asking Samar (thinking its Shiv) "what's wrong?" because Samar crying non-stop. Samar says "Gauri wo.." and then Mahen walks into the room and says " Shiv couldn't come yesterday coz we went to do sum1's antyham sanskar.." and Gauri is shocked and sad and says to Shiv I am so sorry and asks for forgiveness for not understanding, and asks why didn't he tell her? Atleast she would have tried to come. Mahen says "Gauri beta go get ready to break your vrath as you haven't broken it yet. Shiv will come." Gauri says no no, I will go get something for Shiv (I think food...couldn't hear properly.) Mahen says no go get ready for pooja for vrath. Gauri says okay and leaves.
Mahen goes and sits beside Samar. Samar asks why didn't you tell her? Mahen says you came to tell her too…could you? You couldn't… and then Mahen tells Samar to go wear Shiv's clothes and get ready as Shiv coz he has to go break Gauri's vrath. Gauri is waiting for you. Samar refuses and says do whatever you want, I am not doing it and walks away. Samar walks downstairs…whole family there with Shashank and his friends. Samar walks away from them too. They watch him walk away. Mahen follows Samar downstairs and is about to follow Samar when dada-ji stops Mahen. Dada-ji asks Mahen what's wrong? Did Samar tell Gauri the truth? Mahen says No, but Samar is not willing to agree to be Shiv. Samar is too sad right now to think straight. Dadi-ji says "what if Samar tells everything to Gauri?" Mahen is like no I won't let that happen.
Samar outside standing and Mahen comes behind Samar and asks him to help out by becoming Shiv. Samar refuses to help and Mahen slaps him hard. Samar says "you slapped me today because I won't lie? Parents slap their kids when they lie but today my parents slapped me because I refused to lie…I am not Shiv I am Samar!" Mahen says I didn't slap you because you wont lie…I slapped you because you are not willing to take up any responsibilities for your family. You are the elder son of this house and yet you have never taken a responsibility on your head. Have you ever done anything for this house? No, you haven't, never have you done anything for anyone in this house. And today when I ask you for help you refused even though knowing that Gauri is pregnant and she won't be able to handle the news of Shiv's death. Mahen asks Samar to come with and pulls him away to Shiv's kids room.
Kids shown sleeping, and Samar and Mahen come there. Mahen says look at them… how will they face the world when they find out their father is dead. Go tell them, go break their heart. Samar stands there quiet and Mahen takes him on the side. Mahen kindly tells him look Samar none of us want to give deceive Gauri. We just don't want to loose her or the child she is carrying. Please try to understand. We are desperate, we have lost a son, don't want to loose a daughter also. You have to become Shiv. Samar refuses again. Mahen says you think you are the only one who's depressed? Look at me…I haven't cried since Shiv died…why? because I have a family to look after. I have responsibilities. I wanted Shiv to light my pyre but instead I have to see the day where I have to do it for my son. And then Mahen says if you refuse to take this responsibility and something happens to Gauri, then you will have to light another pyre for sum1 else… and that sum1 else will be me… Samar says no and Mahen says that's it…I don't want to hear anything else. Now its upto you wat you do.
Shashank with his friends saying poor Gauri, look at her destiny. Doesn't even know that her husband is dead. But then one of Shashank's friend says who cares? Samar can't interrupt our plans. Shashank says yes he can, but it will be easy to handle Samar as he is illiterate. And before Samar gets the business in his hands Shashank will have to do something to make Samar fall in front of every1. If Gauri finds out Shiv is dead after a long time…she may be able to handle herself. So he will tell Gauri Shiv is dead now so she goes mad. His friend says Mahen will be mad if he finds out you(Shashank) has told Gauri. Shashank says did I let them find out that I killed Shiv? No right…evil smile…
Samar in Shiv's room getting ready. Flashback of an old scene where Mahen is screaming at Samar to get up on his ass and do something. Look at Shiv…he's younger than you but still does so much. Don't sit around at home and come to office. Handle the business for once and tells Shiv to explain to Samar himself because he(Mahen) cant seem to get thru to him(Samar). Mahen leaving angrily, and Shiv says to Samar Bhaiya aap bhi naa…Samar says to Shiv…I am not the business kind, I don't know how to do math and when you r wid me Shiv I have no problem (funny scene). Shiv says bhaiyaa aap bhi naa…what if tomorrow something happens to me then wat will you do? Then flashback finishes and Samar crying sitting on bed. Then thinks of all the old memories spent with Shiv. Then he takes out Shiv's suit and gets ready and sees Shiv in the mirror telling him by signs that Samar looks great in a suit. Samar cries a lot.
Samar entering room where Gauri waiting for him to break fast. Samar comes to her. And she starts her pooja by looking at moon. All this while Samar standing there with tears in his eyes. Gauri puts tika on his face and does ritual and Samar feels uncomfortable. Then Gauri bends to touch his feet, Samar is startled and moves back a little but Gauri doesn't notice. She touches his feet and looks back up and hands him the glass with water and episode ends there.
