Why Salil missing from Karam Apna Apna?

finds out from the cricket-turned-actorSalil Ankola's not seen in Karam Apna Apna past many days. What's he upto? Why has he vanished from the show? "No..no..I'm very much hear, "laughs Salil. "just that I wasn't well past two weeks. I was down with gastroentrites and I was advised to take complete rest, "he says. The cricketer-turned actor will resume work today. "I'm waiting to get back. All these days I've been doing nothing but resting. The production house has been really kind and accommodating. Now I'm shooting again."
Unfortunately for Salil, even though he was at home he couldn't catch he world Cup matches. "I was on medication and would go to sleep very early at night. But now I'll try and catch matches whenever possible." The interest level is building up again for cricketer lovers, he says. "this World Cup is one of the longest and most boring because India and Pakistan got out so early. However, now interest is back because there are few matches left and everyone's wanting to see which team is victorious."
So does Salil have a favourite? " I would like South Africa to win but I know Australia will," he says, as he readies to go to gym. I couldn't exercise last many days, but now I'm back to my regular schedule," he says.
