One more thing... I think that when we reply individually to people who take the time to read our posts, we are encouraging a discussion in a way. Because we share our opinion on their thoughts and then they have the choice to either agree or refute.

Thanks for setting the record clear. I agree with you on every point.

Iqbal Khan gave us shiv kapoor and to be honest the fans are still here to celebrate the magical story line, lets be honest there is nothing on KAA to celebrate, you all have pointed it out. We are appreciating Yash efforts to potray the character so well, but fans find it hard to accept him as Shiv and its only natural.

Iqbal has tons of fans and they prefer to discuss him, its really hard for the audience to accept change they still prefer to discuss the actor who started the show. For example, RK as Sujal, Anuj as Abhay, Nausheen as Kusum...to this day people still discuss them at their characters, its unforturnate they have to leave the serial but for theri fans discussions will still go on.

Nothing is ever set in concrete, what if he just decides to return to the show, still no more discussions on him! Do u think all of us should just accept the new lead, if fans don't like the lead, they can't accept it and choose not to discuss.

Anyway, I'm just trying to make a point here as to why people are still discussing IK as Shiv, they are his fans!

i wud like to add one more point ............this forum is active mostly coz of IK fans

If some one posts pics of IK how ever old pics they are ....did anyone notice....that post has the max pages max views.......thre r lot of IK fans still here!

wow this is getting really dramatic...I don't really care...I stopped watching the show long time ago and only watched it for IQ...but I totally understand where the mods are coming from...I dont' think they are trying to be disrespectful to you guyz...the forum has become an Iqbal forum rather than KAA forum...I mean they have given us one sticky where we can post all about Iqbal so why not?....it can still be fun! don't lose hope! they are just trying to do their jobs..it might seem strict b/c you have to see if from their point-of-view...and I will alwayz come here for IQ news and mods should make a sticky where new IQ videos and news can posted and discussed...so the members don't feel like they are being refrained from enjoying on the forum...just my opinions! 😊

Agreed! Useless topics have no place in any forum, let alone here.. However, as Neetu pointed, I'd like to get some idea of "what would constitute as a useless or senseless topic".. I've seen topics like when will Iqbal be back and stuff like that going around. Many tend to be posted by newbies who are not aware of the rules and are new to I-F. So I guess we can barely fault them for posting such topics. However, I hope the the rules and regulations stay up here as a sticky and that friendly reminders can be sent to the members posting such topics so that they can understand why spamming is bad for the forum.. I believe that with love, you can conquer the world! *Sounding like Gauri here a little bit..coughs* But let's do this with a smile on our faces people !! 😳

There have also been Topics That Are NOT Related to KAA, which are unnecessary. So please only post topics that are related to KAA on this forum.

Stick To the Main Point In the Topic – This is very crucial. Please do not start chatting in every topic as this sidetracks the main subject of discussion. At least 3 warnings will be given in that chatting topic itself before it gets closed, if the chatting doesn't stop even after that, we'll send those members a friendly warning PM and the topic will be closed as the fourth warning is given out.

I have to say that I have been a culprit of this heineous crime myself 😆😆.. But on a serious note: will try my best to abide by the rules and stick to the topic... The only thing is .. Sometimez comments and discussions lead us from one point to another and before we know it, the whole 360 degrees turn had taken place.. But as long as we're kosher about a certain extent of commenting that relates to the topic, we should be good.. Am I right? 😕

The THANK YOU button was created for a reason – to use it! Then why are there so many posts that say, "thanks, tfs, t4s…etc" This is considered spamming, which is not allowed. This can lead to a warning PM being sent to the members who do not stop.

Nice One there Smarty.. Definitely will keep that in mind.. I just wish there was a "You're most welcome" button too so that we'd just go and click that for a quick and sweet note that the message of the user was received.. Where're the programmers of I-F.. Mind creating one? 😳

Also as we all know, Iqbal is no longer playing the role of Shiv Kapoor in the show. We all love and cherish Iqbal Khan and the memories we have obtained while he was Shiv. However, there is no need for old pictures, articles, or information to resurface or be posted again as we already know those things. If you would like to post pictures of Iqbal Khan, there is a whole gallery devoted only for Iqbal. Ok, I do agree with u here about posting "old pictures/articles/etc".. There is no need for that.. However, like I mentioned earlier, some newbies are not aware that the articles have been posted n stuff and I guess they are just trying to make themselves visible here in the forum by doing so... Once again, friendly reminders should be the course of action here. Now for posting "new" Iqbal Khan pictures from KAA.. I don't see a problem with creating a new post for them as long as we keep updating the gallery too. U see, not a lot of members are able to check the galleries on regular basis. I will speak for myself.. For me, I'd check out the KAA Main Gallery every now and then but I surely check out any pictures thread that has been created fresh and is available on the forum's first few pages.. So I would make a humble suggestion to not get ticked off on such posts.. The fresh posts won't be considered spam because there is not a lot of them posted.. Only here and there, few members (I can actually count them.. 4-5 members including moi) will post the fresh pictures taken from the older episodes. So I don't see a problem with that. As a matter of fact, the older days keep reminding us how great this serial used to be.. And the pictures give us a ray of hope that those days would eventually return.. And u know what they say about hope.. Umeed per tu duniya kaim hai 😉~ So do consider that, please 😳~

If there is any other thing related to Iqbal (like article, pictures, or anything else) a topic can opened by the KAA Development Team where you can post all the articles. There is already a topic up, as a sticky, for any kind of discussions related to Iqbal, please use that topic only. We are not saying this to make you feel over-moderated, but because the forum looks un-organized if all topics present are related to Iqbal. If you like the idea of a sticky devoted to Iqbal only, please state it in your reply to this post.

Again, I have no beef with your suggestion.. But please read my response above for seeing my point of view .. Hope it made sense.. 😳

Please take into consideration that Yash Tonk is the new Shiv so do not make any posts stating, "I want Iqbal to come back" or "When is Iqbal coming back?" or anything similar to that.

Agreed.. I am sure we will hear the mega dhamaka from "saat samandar paar" if Iqbal ever decides to return to KAA.. 😉

We have some magnificent writers on our forum, who are writing wonderful stories. However, please do NOT chat in fanfics as it increases the amount of pages in the thread. Authors, if you reply to all the comments for your ff, please do know that it is possible to quote more than one person in a reply (one post). If you'd like to know how to do this please PM a Dev. Team member. If your fanfic reaches over 150 pages please open a new topic to continue the story providing a link for the first topic. Also send a link of the first topic to a KAA Dev. Team member, so that topic can be closed.

I sincerely hope u take in consideration our point of views as well.. I must say that I am very proud of this forum and to be a part of such amazing community.. U'd be surprised how many people have spoken to me regarding how active the KAA forum still is even after Iqbal's exit.. Part of that has to deal with the fact that we keep reminiscing about Iqbal every now and through new articles/pics of him, we relive the cute moments of the past.. But I do concur that spamming in this regard should not be tolerated as long as the member(s) is/are well-aware of what they're doing is not appreciated in the forum! I have to say that KAA forum rocks because we all are a part of it.. With our difference of opinions and varied personalities, we all bring something exclusive to the forum, which makes it all the more special and this has been noticed by members of other forums as well.. So continue rocking the joint, folks 👏👏~

mods, you have to agree that we certainly make jokes to a limit and for a reason. honestly, right now, the serial is experiencing a downfall and this is ridiculous as we have nothing to discuss really, without making funny postings.. what's wrong in that??? 😕 you know, there are a lot of people out there who come log in to this particular forum because it's always hot and happeing..

to be honest, i have been one, when i first started to watch the show. i did google search a lot of place to discuss both IQ and the show and nothing was more exciting than IF.. but now, i'm sure if i go back to these places that i'm referring to, it'll be more lively than this forum is these days 😕 .. it's not a crime to talk about IQ, come on you guys.. if there's a topic that seriously needs our attention, we devote our time to it as well as to IQ posts.. 😊 i go to another forum as well on IF but i'm not active there coz it's not fun.. everyday, i wake up and the first thing on my mind is to log in this forum and have a good laugh..

i've mentioned this before too, and i'm saying it again.. this forum is all about chilling out and having a good laugh.. i find it a very good way to relieve myself from stress and i always look to the funny posts and stuff like that.. honestly, nothing is left now!!! 😭 😭 😭

if you are really keeping the forum neat and together, how come nobody makes any postings these days??? 😕 this forum has dried up coz a lot of people have lost the ambition and humorous spirit of making the KAA forum the best.. i'm sorry to say that, but a lot of people will either be silent members from now on, or they'll look for something more exciting! 😕 😭

and one more thing.. we do actually talk about yash tonk and we respect his efforts to portray Shiv Kapoor, as would IQ.. but it's just not something we would do everyday! 😕 we have to have something really worth the time and the news to post about yash tonk. i for one really like him, but it's still not something that i'll have to say or comment on everyday!!! IQ's thought made this forum so lively and so fun.. i think you're doing a very big mistake.. please ensure that your acts don't put people off rather than encourage them 😊

This post has really discouraged alot of members from posting and to be frank alot of them were humiliated by saying they making senseless posts, now I want to know what is senseless and what's not! If I post all the PMS I have received on this issue it would be very depressing. Like u said most will just go silent and that includs me!
