If guari was shiv's father favorite, it was not her fault. Though little vani might seem to play cupid, I do not think it will be fair for gauri to get love like that, as if she was begging for it.
A suggestion, is can you introduce a new good guy for guari and guari and him start loving each other, then shiv realises her importance.

shiv goes to sleep after putting the alarm on. "alarm laga deta hon pori tarhan gauri pe rely nahi kar sakta agar wo na uthi to. agar us ne dhayan nahi kiya to." he goes to sleep. he wnated to make sure varni gets her medicine. shiv slept. while gauri in her room. stayed up with varni. she let her sleep in her lap. not wanting to move incase varni wakes up. it was hard day. and the hardest thing was to believe that shiv actually let her take varni's responsiablity. she was not sure if shiv trusted her fully. but atleast he had trusted her this much. if she was the gauri from 2 years back. she would have died with happiness. she had loved him with her heart and soul. she could not even think of what he did to her. she never even dreamed of shiv saying all these things to her. she had waisted too much time crying. she waisted too much time on shiv. waiting that one day he will come back. she had counting days hours minutes fo him to return but she lost hope. when shiv never came back never even called to enquire about her. she paryed by her heart that he lived happily. "haan shiv kapoor me ne jab bhi dua ke liye haath uthaye to tumhari khushi ke elawa kuch manga. me chahti thi ke tum ipshita ke saath kush raho. lakin tum ne mujhe bohot dard diya hai. me ne tum pe apne ansoo zaya kiye. uper wale ne paat nahi meri kyun nahi suni. mere ansoo bhi uper wale ko nazar nahi aye. or tumhe bhi nahi. tum ne khabhi mor ke nahi dekha. khabhi nahi socha ke koi aisa hai jo tum se sab se ziyada pyar karta hai koi aisa hai jis ki zindagi tum se hai. koi aisa hai jo tumhare nam ki sahare jeeta hai. jo tumhare liye har pal ansoo bahata hai. jo tumhare liye khushiyon ki duaien mangati thin or tumhare hisse ke gham apne liye. lakin shayad uper wale ko yeh bhi manzoor nahi tha. us ne tum se wo chez le li jis se tum ne bohot pyar kiya. tum sochte ho ge ke me apna sara gusa is nani si jan pe nikalon gi. well shvi me aisi nahi hoon. tumhare liye mera pyar mar chuka me kab ki mar chuki. lakin me nahi chahti ke is bachi ko maa ki kami mehsoos ho. tum nahi shiv kapoor to tumhari beti hi sahi. koi to mere saath bhi ho. meri zindagi sirf tanha guzri hai. tumhare ilawa kissi or mard ke saath nahi reh sakti par tumhare saath bhi nahi reh sakti. tumhare saath rehne ke tasavur se hi mujhe apni ankhien band hoti lagti hai. aisa lagta hai ke koi khanjar se mera jism cheer raha hai." she looks at varni she kisses her forehead. then says "tumhe pata hai ipshita tum duniya ki sab se khush naseeb aurat thi jisse itna pyar karne wala pati mila or itni pyari bachi mili. waise yeh bilkul tumhari tarhan dikhti hai. wohi ankhien wohi nak wohi chehra. bilkul tumhari tarhan. khubsurti ka pekar. jis ko dekhte hi zinda hone ka ehsas hota hai. me wada karti hoon jab tak varni mere saath hai me isse duniya ki har khushi maa ka pyar doon gi. me shayad is ki kuchh nahi lagti shayd bohot kuch lagti hoon. jab yeh bari hoo gi to bilkul tumhari jaise dikhe gi. khubsurat. me isay tumhare bare me sab kuch bataon gi. lakin apne bareme kuch nahi me apni sari zindagi is ke naam karti hoon. shiv tumhare baghair kissi ka tasavur bhi nahi kar sakta. or varni ke baghair reh nahi sakta." gauri looked at varni seeing ipshita's face in her. she loved shiv so much that this face does not hurt her. she did not feel any hatred towards her. she puts her head against the head rest making sure not to dose off as she had to give medicine too varni. the alarm rang shiv got up. it was time to give varni her medicine. he made his way towards gauri's room. he would have never done that if varni was not with her. he knocks on the door and iopens in. he saw gauri sturgling with varni. she was holding her hands and at the same time trying to give her medicine. but varni kept moving not laying still. shiv went in towrds her. he sat on the bed. he took hold of varni while gauri gave her medicine. afterwards gaurii fed her milk. shiv stayed there until she was done. "ok me chalta hon agar zaroorat ho to bata dena. me waise do ghante bad aoon ga is koo medicine dene. i don't think you can manage it own your own." gauri smiled. gauri held varni against her shoulder when varni vomitted. milk was all over gauri and on teh bedsheet. shiv stood there worried and sacred of what will gauri say. gauri just patted varni and made her stop crying. she looked at shiv he was worried. "koi baat nahi bache aisa karte hain its normal. waise bhi abhi dua li thi to yeh to hone hi tha." she wanted to change her. "ap is ke kapre la de ge me is ko change kar deti oon." shiv noctied gauri did not care about herself just about varni. "aisa karo is ko wahin le aao. udher hi change kar lo or khud bhi kar lo. gauri went to his room. she opened the drawer and took out varni's clothes. she washed varni with warm water. making sure she does not feel cold then changed her into thick clothes as it was getting cold. she wrapped her up in a balnket and made her sleep. then she handed her to shiv. she went to her room an got changed then came back to shiv's room as she heard varni cry. "laiye mujeh de di jiye." she took varni from shiv. shiv looked at gauri surprised how she did it. gauri was about to leave. "gauri yehi rook jao me nahi chahta ke hum isse bar bar move kairen. doctor ne bola hai ke is ke liye acha nahi hai. tum yahan lait jao me whana sofa pe late jata hon." gauri hesitated but for sake of varni she accepted. "nahi appp yahan bed pe so jiaye me wahan sofa pe beth jati hoon." "nahi its ok me wahan theek hoon" "nahi its ok me sofa pe theek hon waise bhi mujhe varni ko pakrna hai" "ok aisa karte hain dono hi yehin rehte hain kuch dair varni ko tum pakar lena kuch dair me" gauri wished she had accepted him sleeping at the sofa but to late for it now. it was he first time shiv took her name like this otherwise it sould be filled with nager. shiv laid down looking at varni. gauri rested against the wall and her legs were lying fulll length and she held varni in her arms. not mobing. she looked at shiv's way he fell a sleep. he looked like an angel sleeping like this. only if the things happened never happened. only if he had never left her. she rested her head bak against the wall. eyes closed. her eys were hurting her she did not sleep for two days. varni started crying shiv woke up. gauri tried to quieten her. shiv helped. varni was not going to sleep. as if it was laready morning for her. she played with both shiv and gauri. gauri laid her in the middle. she was playing with gauris' necklace when both shiv and gauri bent to kiss her. both their skin touched. they stayed like that until they heard varni make a noise. shiv immidatley backed off. gauri played with varni. varni took hold of shivs chain. it seemed she had a thing for thier neck pieces. shiv let her play with her. then it was time for the medicine again. shiv held varni this time and let gauri feed her. once done gauri puts her to sleep. and rested her head on the pillw. she did not know when she fell asleep. shiv tooo slept. they had been up almost all night. its was 5 in the morning. varni woke up crying. shiv and gauri noth woke up. gauri looked at the side table the milk bottle empty. "me is ka milk le ke ati hoon app id ka dhayan rakhiye" shiv nodded. gauri left smiling. shiv wondered why she cared so much about varni. gauri came back with the bottle. she fed her the milk then all three of them went to sleep. gauri woke up in the morning. she remebered what happened last night. she saw shiv as not in bed. she got up. fixing her hair in a bun with her hands. shiv came out of the bathroom. ready for work. gauri picked up varni and changed her. and gave her o shiv. they both walked out of the room together. everybody shocked at the view. nikhila was burning with fire. gauri went to her room and changed. varni was alright now. but still had a bit of cold. gauri came downstairs to find dada ji joking shiv. "shiv waise office me to bohot soni kuriyan hon gi. me bhi abhi jawan hoon kiisi se pooch na ke mere saath date pe jaye gi ke nahi" everybody laughed while dadi gave hit him with her elbow. "budh ko chari jawani" "budha kis ko bola budhi hogi tum hum to abhi jawan hain."everyone laughed gauri too. nikhila then spoke. "shiv me soch rahi hoon ke varni ke liye governess rakh lien me ne eik ko aajj bolaya bhi hai" a lady came in asking for nikhila "here she comes. meet mrs screwala" shiv dada dadi and mahen was furious. whule gauri was sad. "mom app ne in ko kyun bolaya meri beti ka dhayan rakhne ke lye mujeh kisi ki zaroorat nahi hai me apni bachi ke saath eik paryui aurat pe trust anhi kar sakta" "me to chahti thi ke gauri kab tak khayal kare gi acha hai ke yeh is ka khayal rakhe takay gaui apna school ja sake" shiv was angry. gauri spoke "don't worry aunty mujhe koi problem nahi hai." nikhila was frustrated with gauri. mahen and other also spoke in shivs favour. making nikhiula look like a fool in front of the women. gauri told dadi "dadi its ok me school me bhi to bachon ki parhati hoon. me yeh bhi job samujh ke kar liya karon gi. app fikar na karien app ko kisi pe trust nahi to its ok. waise bhi mujeh yeh job chorni hi hai. me tranfer ka soch rahi thi lakin abbjab tak varnii theek nahi ho jati hai me is ka khayal rakhon gi" everybody relaxed but angry at the same time of thinking about gauri's transfer. how could she.
